Oh, Mina and Non, you are my heroes for giving something so nice to wake up to. I've been busy and tired and that picture is just what I needed. Those untied braids are becoming a traidmark of yours, Mina. I imagine that he unties them when he relaxes and it means he's ready for ... any sort of relaxation. I love it - love the pose, love the light table. Although it made me think of Loghain and his maps!

how many geologists do we have on this thread anyways? it's the most perverted subject. guaranteed, no wonder.. (it was one of my undergrad degrees but i moved on to comp sci for grad work since i don't particularly want to work for a mining or oil company..)

so...
who wants to take the strike & dip of his plunging folds, if you know what i mean? amirite?
who wants to graben his firn butte in the bed til he has to blowout a lode? dolomite?
who wants to flood his fjord til he erupts extrusively? diorite?
who wants to deposit ejecta on his facies during an orogenous event? limonite?

i'll stop there... lulz. i even avoided most of the obvious geology pervy terms.

in other news, here is the last WIP i had of the Dalish wedding. the idea is that the PC will be a hunter who is directed by family and friends who pose as the gods to the warden's love. then s/he will then catch Zevran, and they will enter their aravel together, blessed by the keeper and their family/friends. as you can see, the choppiness of the toolset is making this difficult.

i had to give it a break due to a death in my family. been sort of a bad week. anyway, i hope to work on it this weekend some more, especially if i can figure out why the toolset is being this way.

I love it. My favourite part is Dog being all HIH HI WHAT YOU DOING WHAT'S GOING ON, it made me smile hugely.

Dog is embodying Fenharel (which is why she begins near that statue), the twin with the deer embodies Falandin and the one with the ravens is their god of secrets, Dirtharren. Dog will lead the warden through the gods to Zevran. after the clip ends, the warden meets Andruil with June (i am changing it so the Warden only equips the bow after meeting these two) and then Sylaise near the fire. but the toolset is so choppy at this point it just looked like a slideshow. =/



if push comes to shove i will have to scrap it and use a smaller wilderness (non-dalish area) or even an indoor area, not sure. =/

Ah for the goold ol' days of geology punnery....Great ones there Char.

I *think* I'm the only geologist here...I may be wrong. Geology seems to be the catchall degree for those of us that couldn't figure out what else we wanted to do. I had been in Comp Sci and Math for undergrad, then switched to Anthro and Geo when I figured out computers really really hate me.

LOVE the Zev pic. Vrry nice.

Edit: Thinking of rocks, getting new kitten tomorrow, need to pick out a rock/mineral name for her (already had cats named Mercury and Topaz)....pulls out Manual of Minerology...let's see, Nepheline, Graphite....
