Yep, that too. Which is why I find it ridiculous even as a Renegade decision. I mean, the whole point about Renegade is that you're putting the mission first, come what may. Recruiting Morinth is a liability to the entire mission, no matter how useful her power may be. Because while Shepard may be able to keep it in his/her pants and stay alive, it doesn't mean she won't be able to kill off the rest of the crew if she wants to.

good thing once you have her bonus power you never need to recruit her again because you can slap it on shepard

The graphics are set at about Medium on the console anyway. Consoles always have worst graphics than High graphics on computers. So you would be seeing the same graphics anyway, but with mods and Zev romance. Win/win!

So do I...well it's a family friend with a autistic child. Doesn't matter one bit in my choice there.

I do admit that if you trust everything Legion says, which is very naive in my view, then you have little reason to leave David there.

Thing is, while I like Legion a lot, and I would sooner destroy the Migrant Fleet then allow them to commit genocide on the Geth, I simply cannot trust him that he is telling the truth. So yeah I leave David, and since it's a game I really don't give a crap about David.

And besides...I have yet to find evidence that David did not volunteer, save for Shepard's words at the end. ( Which mean jack **** for me ).

I did not answer the question yet. I could not read the whole thread (I’ve already read too much of it, that’s crazy enough. ) Somebody wrote (was it Ejoslin?) that everybody seems to have his or her “own Zevran” or at least own Zevran-story. So – here is mine…

For me Zevran was “love at first sight”. I saw this short video after leaving the circle… The way he said his sentence, his moves – smooth like a cat, his whole appearance… I just thought: When will I meet him? Where will I meet him?

But I already had a romance with Alistair in this first play through. I was flirting with Zevran, enjoying his compliments (did not “bed” him), but when it came to the “jealousy-talk”, I decided for Alistair. Zevran made it easy for me, because his it was fun, but Alistair thinks in a different way  was exactly what I thought – my impressions were that Alistairs feelings for my Warden were strong  and honest, whereas for Zevran it was only a kind of capture-game.

In my second play through I wanted to romance Zevran, and I did until the “massage”.  I found the massage itself – or the talk before –funny and sensual. But I was hurt and disappointed by the talk thereafter. I felt dirty and exploited and finished the romance (and the play through…). Then I started a human noble to become queen. I didn’t romance Zevran, but after Taliesen I chose “more than friends”. And then… I was deeply touched by everything what happened… the sudden warmth in his voice, the earring, his difficulties to speak about feelings. This was a completely unexpected change. But afterwards the bedding-scene was the same as before and I only thought – that can’t be right, that must be a bug!

And so… I found the way to the forums, I was looking for mods which would correct the bugs, I found Dialogue Tweaks, Ejoslins Zevran Dialog Fix, Charsens ZevranASAP, Gatekisses… and all these mods I could only use with the English version. So I worked out how to play the game in English (that was not as easy as it sounds <_<). And finally I could romance Zevran the way I like it. And I can’t get enough of it.  And I can’t say it often enough – THANK YOU FOR ALL THESE WONDERFUL MODS!

Summary – What's the (Romantic) Appeal of Zevran – for me?

It’s his charm, his wit, the moves, the appearance and the surprising depth of his “love story”. It is not the accent, because Zevran does not have an accent in the German version. As I played the English version for the first time I was initially irritated by his accent, meanwhile I like it, but I was interested in Zevran long before I knew his accent.

I love hearing people's stories about unspoiled playthroughs and how they discover the real depth in Zevran's romance    It's amazing that you sort of stumbled into the last scenario, because I think after the first two experiences you had, a lot of other players would have written Zevran off as shallow and/or uncaring, incapable of a deeper relationship.   Lucky you to have picked "more than friends" there!

I never read spoilers during the first play trough. And I picked that "more than friends" line, because I was curious what would happen (in the two play thoughs before this line was not there). So - yes - it was a surprise. It was a long way for "love at first sight". But now - I'm here. And glad to meet people who are as crazy as I am.

I've actually never taken Zevran to the Deep Roads. I really don't need another rogue for that part (not that my characters are at all rogue-like besides their wonderful lock-picking abilities).
