hmm. well, I just did the Pearl and mmm. I'm a bit put off by this attempt. I feel...dirty lol let me see if I can explain.

I was thinking that this time I wanted a 4 way and I wanted Alistair to go. I read here (this wonderful thread, back a few pages) that Alistair had to be in love. Well we got there (I propositioned him to go to bed first though I usually wait for him to get there on his own slow-ass self) and we end up at the Pearl. Isabella is her usual self. I ask about the ship, she's intrigued, Alistair says "what ? are you sure you want to do this?" I ask if he objects. Isabella says maybe he wants to come along, I say sure. he makes the Weak, Weak man comment. Then she asks Zevran, and he said NO.

He said NO!!!!

The man who's all about sexual pleasure says no......

So we three go off. come back. Hear the "wet frock" comment (which did make me laugh---well Alistair's comment anyway). Kill Paedan. head back to camp.

BOOM. Alistair pops up on screen and says "I only want to be with you."

ok... So. Forget Alistair being a sweet, innocent, choir boy. He really wants a momma to fix him up with 3ways.

And Zevran --- he declined!

That man has more morality in his little . . . finger . . . than Alistair does.

I mean, my poor sheltered Mage girl...well...Alistair was her first. We had sex exactly once... But there goes Isabella with her sultry voice and...well...maybe all that death at the Mage Tower just knocked me off kilter... But Alistair, my golden templar...liking it... hmmmm......

hehe I love how this game always surprises me when I roleplay.

Quote.

The writer who wrote the three/foursome (was it Mary? I always assume Mary...) said Zevran declines if Alistair goes because he wants Alistair to experience something new. It sounded from the post as if Zevran has experienced this sort of thing before (I wouldn't doubt it!), so he was actually being gentlemanly to Alistair.

And Alistair is still a 'man' at heart. Come now, getting an offer from 2-3 attractive women is not something you turn down! Just be glad that he still loves you enough to propose monogamy afterward! At least, until he dumps you or lets you stay on as his mistress...

Well, to be fair, Zevran giving Alistair a new experience like that IS a type of morality! Actually, when I read that the first time, I liked Zevran even more. He really is NOT selfish at all, is he.

well, ok. Maybe that explains Zevran... but I am sure that having a 4-way with another male in the group would ALSO give Alistair something "new" to experience.

I'm laughing more about my reaction than about what the characters did. So If Zevran was "interested" he would still say no. hmmm... interesting. Good for Zevran.

I'm not sure that's something Alistair *wants* to experience. :P And Zevran is indeed a great man, if for nothing else than this. Way to help a brother out!

And don't worry, most of my characters fall for Isabela's charms as well. What can I say, she's just my kind of gal!

Well, being the other potential male romantic interest, it makes sence that Zevran would make Al uncomfortable.  Zevran's such a considerate person in his own way.  I remember reading about this and just grinning at how sweet that realy is of him.  Definetly a guy who, for all his teasing and perversion, does NOT like to force others into situations they aren't comfortable with.  Which makes writing Zevran/Alistair slash pretty dificult... But that's ok, my PC can do the seducing, since alistair acts so jealous about him all the time...  *ploting away*

I guess you can say Zev is the ultimate "wing man." lol

Well, I've just gotten some massively bad news, I can't play DA:O b/c the Sony PS3 is experiencing a massive failure over the network. Some are theorizing it could be due to a hacker. All I know is that I turned on my PS3 to play this evening and the date and time were set back to 12/31/1999. If this corrupts my 7 characters I'm going to cry, really.

The worst part, no Zev love tonight. My husband is secretly happy I'm sure, lol.

Lol gotta love it when the person you love like to purpously drive you up the wall (I know I did since I drive my friends up the wall very easily)

also Im doing the anvil of the void quest and while Iv beatne this game more times than i count I really REALLY wish there was a way to save the anvil without siding with Branka

or atleast let me character offer up leliena and Wynn to become Golems since we HAVE to side with her if we want to save it :3

Woof, been out of town (still am), and boy did I miss the fun part of the firestorm. ;D  Glad to have seen Mr. Gaider pop up on that thread, though. ;D

*waves hello to all the new folks!*

@ejoslin, the FAQ is looking good! :D  Hmm, I'm not 100% sure if this is true or not, but when working towards the 2nd earring attempt, don't you have to ask him to the tent and get his refusal to get the "you seem different" option?   I know you mention it in 6, but you might want to mention it in 5 as well?  Just a thought. :3

Good morning. It's 7 a.m. and what am I doing on the computer? I need to get ready. It's so nasty out though, bleh.

As for the modding of the major NPCs, I'll put myself into the "I can't do it" camp. My Zevran is modded, but it's only a minor tweak, he still has the blond hair, the tan, and looks almost like the vanilla one. It's the 2_4 model of the ASK face mod.

Although, I must say, the 2nd picture looks amazing, Charsen.

And welcome back, Jenovan. See, that's what you get for going on vacation :)

I showed my boyfriend some scenes with Zevran, and much to my surprise, he can approximate them WELL enough... ah. I might just take a magic marker to his face to get that tattoo too. :wizard:

Poor guy. Perhaps a washable one? I'd hate to think about him having to explain his new 'Tattoo' to everyone.

Ninja-bard did it again!  I hadn't even spoken to her this playthrough.  Not a word.  Not a single gift.  She was along with my mage to open chests until I got Zev.  I had the first conversation with Zev and while running around the rest of camp accidentally clicked on her and got the ultimatum.  Somehow I also lost 25 approval from her for the whole thing.

I'm locking the lunatic in Sten's cage and leaving her there during my next playthrough.

Is it a sign of obsession that I currently have four characters busily romancing Zev?  My city elf is about to go to the Landsmeet.  She can't seem to get along with anyone but Zev and her dog.  I can't wait for the earring talk.

Hahaha... what a conversation that would be with his boss tomorrow.
"So what's that on your face...?"
"Oh, yeah, so uh... there's this assassin right... and uh... so I look like him and..."
"You're fired."

*sad trombone*

I think I went on about Zev a bit too much with my husband.  Now I'm having to battle him for the game and Zev is his favorite too.  I seem to be romancing the same imaginary man as my husband.  :P

Oh lordy, Charsen that is really funny. Thanks for lightening up my monday morning.

Awww, Sami-Jo, how romantic. And what obsession are you talking about? I see no obsession.

*Looks lovingly at her five girls, all embroiled with a certain elf*

You sound entirely normal to me.

I think my favorite is still "Warden."  Even better than "si mi amora."  Dunno why!

My elf mage came back from the Deep Roads ready to break it off with Alistair, and got his "you're the first and I hope you're the last" talk.  She brought up him becoming king and she being an elf, and they broke it off.  He is so classy about it in this discussion.  *sob*  You get a +1 approval, too.  I think Alistair is relieved if the PC helps him do what he knows he needs to.  The timing worked out well story-wise, because he wasn't in the party when they went to Redcliffe so she found out about his identity late in the game.  It came as a big shock, especially that Alistair hadn't told her earlier.

So, she is hurting.  But there is Zevran at +60 Care.  He is going to have to seduce her, though.  Which he will, of course.  <3  (Maybe this will be the game where I get the "friends and more" talk?  Have to keep him under 70, right?)

He usually is under 71+ when my PC gets the talk. You are talking about the one where he wonders if the PC has use for him after she's done the Blight quest, right?

It might work over 71+, but I never had him that high before the talk. Even my besotted mage had him around 60ish before he moved in to pick up the pieces.

I mean the one where he leaves rather than fight Taliesin with you, and you can talk to him afterwards.
