I love Sten especially that deadpan expression he has 99% of the time when he talks to you or some one else

but for some reason i hardly ever use him infact iv used him for 1 complete playthrough and that was ages ago

Lol. I spent the other night hitting the conversation point in Orzammar listening to some of the conversations, like between Sten and Leliana. Hearing the bard call the qunari 'softie' is great... His reaction is priceless.



And her reaction to the "tattoo" banter is priceless as well.

Sadi, for one of the best lines in the game, have Alistair and Zevran both with you, but not Leliana (I think she messed it up for me). Tell Cauthrien that you're freeing Anora. I know, I know. But give up Anora, get captured (turn off auto potion use to make that happen), and prepare for MORE squee when Anora, Zevran, and whoever else was in your party gets back to Eamon.

Edit: Or am I sick for absolutely loving him more when he says what he says there?

Rainysong, Zevran-Shale dialogues are priceless. The idea of Alistair having a child makes me go all squishy inside, but the image of Zevran holding his newborn child for the first time is beyond words.



Actually I was thinking that the smallest things about a Zevran romance are really revolutionary. Like I pictured him and the Warden holding hands somewhere, something that a Crow would never be able to do unless seducing a mark. How would it be to never be able to express tenderness to someone unless you're doing it with ulterior motive? It makes it all the more unfair that you can't kiss Zevran in public in-game (without a mod). Maybe he is less comfortable with PDA because of his background, but that he is free to do it is something totally new.

About those mods... anyone got a guide for me, I want one? o.o

Mods I use . . . Very few actually. Dialog tweaks. I also use DAO mod manager and with that realistic bodies all in one (and make the boys go to sleep). Hmmmmm, I also use of Noble Cast (changes the HN beginning to one more fitting with being the child of the Teyrn of Highever). I think that's it, though.

Well, unless we're both sick...   I like that line so much I took screen caps last night to commemmorate it.  I only wish our PCs could hear him say it.

I believe after Shale mentions repro, Zev says something like  "I don't believe that's a concern in this particular case, but one never knows." and then continues with the "Is that so bad..." dialogue.

I have to far to go to be able to be patient and wait for it myself.

Zevran: What's this? She throws her savior to the wolves, and now she has second thoughts?
Eamon: What in Andestre's name has happened? Are you all right?
Anora: The wardens have been captured!
Morrigan: Barely met, and already she betrays us.  She and my mother would get along famously.
Zevran: I'm still waiting for a reason not to slit her throat and toss her in the river. I haven't heard it yet.

Edit: my screen shots were messed up.  I think that's where the Morrigan line goes, but if it isn't, I'm sure someone will correct it!

Zev and Morrigan rescue is sort of fun. He keeps telling the guards he's bringing a "special" present for Howe. and I'm imagining that present is Morrigan. but I do like to seduce my way out as well.

This time I'm gonna do Zevran and Sten I think.



you don't have to do the fight at all to get captured---you can turn yourself in and they take you and Alistair and let the others go. That's what I usually do cause it saves time. And then I like to convince Cauthien to side with us later on as well.



And yah, like Jaulen, I need to get myself back to the reports I'm reading/editing on my desk, so when the end of the day rolls around I can leave them at work and go home to my game. Finishing up Orzammar tonight and maybe doing RTO.

I picked Zevran and Morrigan, and the witch didn't show up. I first had Zev rescue me, that was sweet. Then I reloaded and broke out to see what would happen... both are fun. I hope I can break Zev out of "jail" in Antiva one day. Muahaha.

I will see if i can pull it up in my next run through. I started a dalish brat last night, gonna see if it affects the dialog much since my first play was with a human.


Oh yeah, on a side note. With the baby talk.  During a conversation with Zev, i had the impression that he was perhaps a father already. Though through the Crows, so perhaps just a "sire" - not sure why I had that impression, it was something he said about children.

My warden did do the dark ritual, I think Zevran would have told him to do it too. There should have been a scene where your warden discusses it with your LI though. I would think Zevran would approve - it's just business. I wonder how the other companions would take it.
