I always took that comment about the Dalish in a couple of ways....1) he had built up fantasies about what they were like and their life was like, and when he finally ran off, the reality didn't live up to his dream world at all 2) they are pretty contemptuous (spelling!) of City Elves, especially those that hang onto their 'citiness'

But, but... you spelled it right!

I also think that he went to them expecting to find a home. His mother was Dalish, after all, so he probably thought he'd find some sort of care and nurturing that he never got. But of course the Dalish can be as spiteful toward others as people are to them, so I doubt they coddled him in the way he'd hoped for. Obviously, part of this was because of his unreal expectations of them, but I'm sure their sometimes harsh attitudes didn't help.

In the end I think he resents them in a similar way as humans, by which I mean he resents the fact he has no group to belong to (hence considering himself "Antivan" and being so crushed when the Crows didn't care about him).

Spelling isn't my stong point. Weird, since spelling mechanics are supposed to take place in the same part of the brain as math, and I'm good at math.....(I also seem to have issues with typing and my fingers getting ahead of my brain)



And I just wanted to say to those of you that are non native English speakers that are here on the English boards, and/or playing the game in English....*wowza* Really makes me feel like an Ugly American. I *used* to know Spanish.....but, use it or lose it...*sigh*

*sigh* Bioware hasn't released "game update" information for the PS3 update. A lot of people are saying it's just Awakening trophies and stuff, plus some free DLC stuff.

Duncan would have been a hot one too. That's why I have the Zevran mod that gives him Duncan's hair.

I got a comment from Zev once when talking to Zathrian about how judgemental the Dalish had been. I can't remember what triggered it. I got it in my first playthrough and haven't had it since.



David Gaider made a comment in one of the forums, that I of course cannot find now, to the effect that Zev had low patience with the city elves and the Dalish for just rolling over and taking the treatment they received. His empathy is for those who cannot help themselves.

well Xander is going to be king(though he doesnt know it yet yay metagaming!) so its fitting for him to be in the kings armor

plus the -25% fatigue reduction is a godsend for a 2HW who relies on spamming skills

and Duncan *drools* it takes all of 3 chapters for Duncan to get laid in the calling and he wasnt even aiming to get laid either which is the funny thing

I Buffy well the show any ways Buffy the character can jump of a cliff for all I care (funny how I love the shows characters...except the title character herself)

Lucky you.. I've heard rumors that the real patch is Awakening, at least for the consoles <.<  I won't even be able to get Awakening for a while, since I have FFXIII on pre-order. I was LUCKY to be able to ask for that for my birthday(which was in January, but I asked to pre-order it anyway cause it's one of the few games for PS3 I want. The other I can wait to get.)

yes Xander is marrying the annoying cow...and hopefully one she pops out a minixander (or I cheat on her with a starstruck maid and she pumps out one) Anora is gonna have a "little accident"





poor Zevran though he doesnt deserve it..neither does xander since hes gay and the thought of sexy time with a woman...does not go well with him... but considering that while he likes Alistair he doesnt see him as king material



plus Im gonna be sparing Loghain as well which means Alistair is gonna be a wondering drunkard



also I actually Liked Angel... it was Buffy I couldent stand

I watched the first season of Buffy and want to watch more, but I haven't gotten to it yet. I like it, though.
Still, when I hear Buffy all I can think of is my boyfriend's fat cat. XD
