Joss Whedon doesnt like people to be happy I mean just look at how relationships end on his shows

Tara and Oz kicked ass (and Oz returning in seaosn 8 was awesome) but Kennedy dear lord she got WORSE in season 8 and I didnt think that was even possible

But usually he makes them nice and then kills them/splits them up. Kennedy's just a ****.

Edit:  Not only that, but she's not competent.  If she were competent I could forgive more.  But she's a jerk and a screwup.  

I have not read season 8 so it's conceivable she becomes more competent.

god why couldent they have killed off kenedy in season 8 and not Xanders soon to be girlfriend also WTF is up with all his girlfriends dying as well every single one of them has died...or turned out to be an evil monster then died

yes im counting cordy in this even if she died long after they broke up

Edit:  Probably the only reason they survived is the show got cancelled before he could do something cruel!

Priya and her boyfriend.  I actually never saw the last episodes but it's my understanding they made it through.
