OMG, I have to dedicate my life to this thread just to keep up!!!! LOL

I LOVE that screencap with Zev commiserating with the Dalish. That face!

And oh! Fellow BtVS and 'Angel' fans!!! I didn't dislike Buffy the character... she was a pretty strong female hero, yet also flawed, and I respected that. But likewise, she was not my favorite... and Angel tended to be a bit of a marry-stu vampire. lol On both those shows I liked the side characters best. The writers were genius. Spike, I agree, was an amazing character. Huge lust/crush on him. I read somewhere that it was mentioned that Spike was one of the influences for the idea of Zevran. So how suitable, eh? I also adored Willow... I had such a crush on her until the whole wiccan lesbian thing started getting freeking annoying. They ruined her character, and her girlfriend pretty much only seemed to exist to feed the male fantasy of the sexy super fem lesbo couple. But quirky awkward sentimental Willow with the amazing and often unintended comical timing, with a fetish for bowling shoes... Oh how I loved her. *swoon*

Uuuuh... I loved the Demons in 'Angel'... It was so cool to see a show where the supernatural world had depth and cultural diversity instead of the typical 'good races vs. evil races' type BS.

Ok... Back to Zevran...
Fuuu... I can't remember what I was gonna say....

(heh... I actualy also had a crush on Gyles, now that I think about it.  I squeed over him kind of hooking up with Buffies mom at one point.... He deserved to get some.  Sexy british librarian is sexy.)

I say it because if you follow the dialogue options that give you the most approval, they tend to end up with you being very assertive about wanting him in your tent. I think that's why he teases about it, and once it's shown to not be a problem that makes him very relieved.

I think on the one hand, yeah he enjoys the sex. He says you should enjoy life's pleasures when they come, because they can come infrequently. So his +1s are showing that he's appreciating the pleasures he's given when he's given them.

But at the same time, that introductory dialogue is just so set up to gauge your comfort level with who he is, it's him testing the waters to see how trusting you will be. If you show him that trust, he's *extremely* happy. So it's a combination of both.


And for Zevran tattoos, if this mod ever finally comes out (it's supposed to soon, but grrr I've been waiting so long) it will allow you to give different bodies to each party member (and it can actually make males non-aroused normally but aroused during sex scenes!). So you'll be able to give Zevran some tattoos. =)

Custom Bodies

re: custom bodies mod-- NICE!!! I'll be keeping tabs on that for sure!  I always wondered if that could be done, since you'd have to be able to have custom individual bodies for something like Zev's tattoos (yes, that was exactly the scenario I was pondering ;P).

But yeah, it definitely seems that assertiveness gives you a plus in Zevran's book.  There is also the trust issue, there, too, that's a good point.  If the PC is the one to start things, obviously s/he trusts Zevran at least that much, and that has to make him quite happy, I think.

eeek I just noticed something...I dont get a set bonus from cailens armor if I have the helmet turned off...

I hate cailens helmet its fugly as hell :3 how did I not notice this like 40 hours ago? some one needs to fix that! Alexander is to sexy to go without the kings armor :3

Edit: O.o okay... I'm doing Orphanage quest in the Alienage with Ser Otto... I just killed the first demon, and now find myself in a completely locked room, with doors that are unable to be picked. Do I have to load from the auto-save to fix this?

load up another save that quest is glitchy as hell

one way to work around that glitch is when you kill the demon DO NOT speak to ser Otto again it may take a while but a cutscene should start up after a while and the door will unlock

if you talk to ser otto the game glitches

Squee shot of the evening.  I was trying out ejoslin's trick of trying to get them to "hold hands," but he kept running away from me.  LOL  However, with this shot I was thinking about "tenderness in his gaze."  You see it better in close-up, but they are looking at each other.





My little mage is full of squee at the moment, since she just got  his proposal.  Zevran is dipped in sugar and cornmeal fried as far as she is concerned.

Yes, that is Wynne in the background.  I wasn't even going to do Return to Ostagar this time because I'm a bit disgusted with it, but I wanted Cailian's armor for Alistair and I thought I needed to hear the dialogue again to decide if it really was as cringe-worthy as I thought the first time.  It is.  And that blasted Zevran disapproves -3 for giving Cailan a pyre.  That is so wrong.  Not that I'm worried about it.  Just an excuse for 3 more times to the tent.

Yikes!  Sounds like a bug, all right :/  I would think killing the demon(s) should unlock at least one door...

Ah, yes, that look... I got it this morning while I was finishing off Orzammar. He was not happy about my Selene destroying the Anvil, but it was worth it in the end. Shale was happy.

As an assassin it was his act of kindness, and I wouldn't doubt it was his way of showing afection to his friends like Taliesen as well.  After all, showing emotion in normal ways or saying what he feels would have been seen as a sign of weekness by the Crows, and possibly even a sign that they've not broken him yet.  Where as sex was something they encouraged, and something he had engaged in from a very early age.  When you think about the fact he claims his childhood in the ****house was mostly happy, aside from beatings, I get the impression he didn't see the sex as abusive.  It IS abusive, that such things went on so early in his life of course, but to him, it would have been normalized.  If he never experienced love and afection in normal ways, yet was never broken, and is still capable of caring for and bonding with others, then he must have channeled that part of himself through something, and I think that something was sex.

LOL  I explained it- I wanted to hear the dialogue from RtO between her and Alistair again to make sure it was as bad as I thought it was the first time.  At least this character isn't romancing the poor guy.

Custom Bodies

Earlier this evening I was looking at the toolset creature creator trying to figure out if it was indeed possible to add new default models like "Elf" or "Human"... this is EXACTLY what is needed. 

Wow, they look like they've done some serious work and they're still working on it (last update 2-20 it seems)... Very nice.. if one custom body can be made, others can be duped & retextured ridiculously easily... freaking awesome

This makes sense. Zevran was abused (by our standards, by Antivan standards, perhaps not) but mentally there are some issues with that. He probably came to terms long ago that he would never be in love, and that the closest someone like him could get was sex... pretty abusive indeed

The default m/m sexytime scene does have one particular pose that BCS really should have kept, imo... i hadn't seen the default scenes before i was browsing the cutscenes in the toolset last night

the default m/m sexy time scenes are really odd looking to me period

but the opening is far better in vanilla (the human male version is even hotter it has zevran going at your nipples)

and some one REALLY needs to fix No helmet hack so Set bonuses for sets that require helms apply because it seems the author isnt going to do it
