Zevran trying to convince Sasha to spare mages. I can't believe I'd never seen it before, it's telling so much about him. I only wish I could actually be persuaded. As it is, I had to reload. I can never bring myself to side with the templars.

I tried to read it, no succes. xD
Nice shot though.

Unfortunately I can't change the language for subtitles, even though I'm using english dubbing. Or I'm just too dense to figure it out <_<
I don't remeber the exact quote, but he's saying that an assassin is probably not the most convincing person to preach about morality, so I should proceed as I see fit.

Zevran's is not a frightened pose, he is casting the assassin spell "Mark of Death"

Actually, during this fight Zevran doesn't even join you and definitely doesn't use any abilities. He's just standing there looking scared. It may not be so obvious with this angle, though.

The thing that worries me about that comic is that Morrigan calls the ritual "a terrible thing." Why? In-game she talks about it as an unqualified good, and I was holding out hope that the god baby was going to save the world.

Re. arcane warrior: I don't end up using my S&S much- just use my staff and rarely does my character switch on her own- but otherwise I like it. To me, a Warden mage should be a battlemage, and you should be able to equip armor and melee weapons. I hate mage robes.

Can I just say, not for the first and no doubt not for the last time, that I'm so sad Zevran is not going to be in Awakenings.  He had better show up in future expansions or games!  Grr!

Zevran in the fade is too terrified to even fight with the PC. He is cringing in terror, which will tell the PC quite a bit about his upbringing.

Addai, I thought the 'terrible thing' was her having to force the PC into relinquishing Alistair to her. Good point, though. Gah! More food for thought.

So, Zevran-fanpeople, I have a question. I have decided to romance Zevran as a City Elf this time around. You may have seen my other thread about how not to romance Alistair whilst I was romancing Zevran. But I'm wondering something...

Has anyone romanced him as a man and a woman? If so, what was better? I like the idea of my guy nearly marrying a woman and then ending up with Zevran. But I usually play as a woman (for obvious reasons) so I prefer playing that way. But I would be willing to play as a man if the romance with Zevran is better, or at least comparable.

Or is it worst? Any advice on the matter would be appreciated.

It shows how traumatized he is by the memory.

There isn't really much of a difference, Kryyptehk . I only play femPCs and they all go for him. If you wish to see the slight differences, we have experts at your fingertips :)

Anyway it would be nice to talk to Zev about the ritual offer. My PC would at least inform him how bad, weak and selfish person she is that she accepted so easily, helped to create the god-child and possible doom for whole Thedas just because her friend played unfair (mentioning Zev) and messed with her feelings. I would love to know his reply, I assume it would be something like "Thank Maker you are like this." XD

Awww... lol. XD  But yeah... I imagine Zevran would be quite relieved.  Assuming he believes when Morrigan says the Wardens need not die, and isn't just using them to get her god-baby...  *ponders that a bit*

Who's to say that Zevran doesn't know
about the ritual? I suppose it depends on your character, but for me,
Zevran finds Morrigan in my room (where else would Zevran be, the night
before the battle) and confronts her about what she's doing there.
Morrigan and Zevran's relationship is fairly strained, he's never
trusted her or even liked her much, innuendo aside (it's just for
show). Morrigan flat out tells Zevran that she's going to use him as a
bargaining chip to get what she wants from the Warden, the whole reason
she didn't condemn their relationship from the start. That's roughly
how it goes, anyway.

Innnteresting... but which of them gets to the Warden first? Or does Zevran hold his tongue until it's over?

As far as Zevran being in the Warden's room, my personal story-thought was more that he shows up later... how much later is the question.

Actually, my thought was that the "terrible thing" was ordering Alistair to sleep with her  ;D  From Morrigan's point of view, yes -- why would SHE call the Ritual a terrible thing? That would be a bit unsettling...

@Kryyptehk:

Talking at length (and length, and length... XD) with everyone on this board leaves me thinking it's pretty much the same. :)  Some of the individual lines of dialogue are tailored to gender, but I believe the actual conversations are all pretty much the same.  :3  (For the record, I've romanced him with a male PC so far.  Not that far along with my first fem PC yet XD)

Hmm, I suppose as a male PC, you do get a few extra lines here and there about the two of you being men and that being a possible difficulty...

Perhaps she also thinks that having the PC/Alistair to sleep with her involving a strange magic is terrible. If it's a male romance, she would have to turn the act of love into a weird ritual. If the ritual involves a romanced Alistair, she might think it terrible to have to force him to sleep with her. If it's a femWarden involved with Zevran the same applies, although the femWarden wouldn't have to send her love to another woman. If it's a male romancing Zevran, she might think it terrible to force him into an act involving a woman. Those are just suggestions, mind you. I could be all wet.

Alright, thanks for the opinions. I can't make a good looking female elf, but I can make some hot elven men. I have plans for this character -evil laugh-

Errr...don't mind me. But do be prepared for a lot of questions, since I've never romanced anyone besides Alistair (and Morrigan, but we don't talk about that lol)

It just seems ooc, to me, for Morrigan to be that broken up over asking you for one night's infidelity in exchange for so much good. Maybe she is so upset because the ritual dooms her to withdraw from society and her only friend, just when she had finally found friendship.

Or, it could be she knows something else about the ritual that we don't know. Perhaps the consequences are beneficial for Morrigan but cause harm to someone else.

No problem, Kryyptehk. If no one is here, just click on Ejoslin's sig. :) Have fun.

*wishes Addai and Creature would stop giving her headaches*

But all jest aside, her 'only one' remark, coupled with her crying and saying 'weakness' makes me think that it could also be endangering her in some way.

Ahh, in some ways we've gone so far afield of the original question.   But new stuff does still come up fairly often, surprisingly enough. :P

I don't know, I think that if you are friends with her she understands that she is asking you to give her the one thing you will never be able to have. A child. And with the man you love, no less. AND you two both pretty much need children to carry on the Theirin line.

Btw, just looking at your avatar, Kryyptehk, according to those in the know, the hottest Zevran kiss is reserved for the dwarf female. If you click around enough, Ejoslin has the pics to semi-proof it. I haven't done it myself, mind you, I'm more or less addicted to playing human women, but still..., something to contemplate.
