I may be reading WAY too much into it (probably am), but I am wondering if Morrigan was sent by Flemmeth with the intention of her doing the ritual, but didn't know the full implications of the ritual until after she had Flemmeth's grimoire.



Wandering into the realm of pure speculation...I wonder if the god-child will become Flemmeth's new host or if Morrigan following through with the ritual will make her susceptible to Flemmeth taking over. That would certainly explain the "terrible" part.

Morrigan does tell the Warden that the Ritual is the reason Flemeth not only sent Morrigan with the Warden,  but saved the Warden and Alistair.

I should probably make a new topic for this, but . . .

The timeline is bothering me again for the game. If you play a mage, you learn that you have been away from the circle for nearly a year. If you're a DNM, you have a child in the time between your recruitment and returning to Orzammar. DC's sister has a child as well.  Even Zevran refers to the time he's been with you as "less than a year" which puts it in about the same timeline. All of that is fine and well EXCEPT:

City elf. The purge started after you killed Vaughn. This was ordered by Howe as his first act as Arl of Denerim. Except the guards in Ft. Drakon were laughing about how short a time he was actually arl (even assuming that the 10 days they said was a gross exaggeration). Was the Alienage really blocked off for nearly a year?

Ugh.

I thought the "rabbit" stew comment was hilarious, although it does show what kind of conditions they really live in, in there.  I do wonder how the companions take it, though.  

The introductions-to-dad could be quiiiite interesting, indeed.  I particularly wonder how Cyrion would come to grips with his child romancing a human.  Not that he's ever seemed, y'know, violently anti-shem or anything, but yeah. Of course, the elven alternative is a foreign assassin...   But given that the CE's mom seemed to be kind of a firecracker, maybe Cyrion could come to terms with that... somehow... XD

I've actually written a scene that I was going to put into a oneshot about a Dalish elf with Alistair. Though I realize this is the wrong thread for that....

Ughhh, yes.   One of the most heartbreaking looks/quotes from him in the game, I think.

How about the dwarves?  How do you introduce little brother Bhelen or Gorim to your elven lover?

Gorim, very regrettfully. I felt so bad for my Aeducan when she went to Denerim and found out Gorim was married.

Gorim, very regrettfully. I felt so bad for my Aeducan when she went to Denerim and found out Gorim was married.

Yeah, pretty  much once you leave your Origin 'home', you just can't go back... You've been through too much and become someone else, really.

Alright Zevranites... I am thinking of trying a few mods, at least Dialogue Tweaks. I have no idea where to start. Is there a For Dummies explanation on using mods? I mean, a For Colossal Dummies edition?

not really all mods should come with a readme atleast in their description or in the file itself on how to install them

it really is pretty simple

also download DAmodder it helps you install/uninstall mods easily

lol, Addai, welcome to the dark side XD Well, most of the mods have decent instructions with them, but I think the first place to start is um... Maybe DAModder? It's a mod management mod. ;D I don't use it, but I think others here do.
