Yeah, this is my CE.  She's pretty fierce.  I want Berserker to be her first specialisation.    I haven'y gotten far at all, just to Ostigar to begin the joining... But I'm not happy with her hair and makeup, so I think I'm gonna download a mod and start her file over with some improvements.  The blue makeup looks ok in her icon, but in game, it looks brighter and rather rediculous.  I want her to strike fear in to the hearts of men!  LOL  So black and grey tattoo and makeup is what she needs... kind of a smudged khol look, like oldschool tribal war paint, or deathrocker.

So sleppy. (Yes I misspelled it on purpose.) Decided to try my hand at some fan art- boy oh boy has it been awhile since I've taken drawing seriously... You'll all be sad to know it's Leliana, as well. =P But I can do what I want, so there. XD

It's only 1am here, so I guess I'm not as cool as all the 4am'ers, but considering I conked out at 10pm last night, I figure this is a pretty good achievement! Good night/morning/afternoon/evening to everyone!

There's a mod that lets you change appearance in game? Do tell, ES. If it involves the toolset, I'm out of luck, though.



Ever since you got me addicted to DW warriors, I'm having fun with them. And don't deny it either, I'm quite sure you were the one, Addai. However, my amazons make for a very enjoyable play-through. Funny thing is, with both of them, Zevran glitched into love way, way early. Strange, that....



I've heard much about the AW, and I always wanted to try one. However, I'm bad with building effective battle-mages, so thanks for the tip.

I had trouble downloading DA Mod Manager, but did get DA Modder to install. So, for Zevran fans, what are some "must have" mods? Besides the Dialogue Tweaks which gives you PDA possibilities.

Our group has a discussion going about them, in terms of "Zevran specific". There are a ton of mods out there, ones to mod your appearance, different armor sets (like the witch robes everyone seems to be falling over themselves to get [http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=228]), mod the world, etc. You might head to Dragon Age Nexus and peruse the top 20 or something, see what appeals.

Edit: In terms of changing your character's look, I've never been interested in doing that (Sandor looks just fine to me) but Bidelle's Makeup Studio, for example, adds stuff to the character creator, to give you more options to choose from. So does, I think, Pineappletree's.

You mean my pic?  That is a crop from an in-game screenshot.  My elven lass' ecstatic expression is edited out for the sake of decorum and because we all want to look at Zevran anyway.

I don't know of such a mod. lol I'm just going to start over... the mod I speak of is for more hairstyles, makeup, and tattoo options... scars as well.



Oh, DW is too much fun.



Someday I'll do an elven battlemage as well... Though I think my first mage is going to be a human bloodmage or something. I wish there were more than one mage origin. I think there's a mod where you can be a mage for Dalish origin.

That is indeed the sad truth, Charsen. It's 8:30 a.m. here CZ. Night's over for us, and we get to stare at rassafrassin snow again. It snowed for 3 month, no lie. We thought it was over /February, but no. All week long it was nice and sunny. Cold, but nice and bright.

I need some help with raising Alistair' approval (he's at 16 now). I need at least 10 more points before I can proceed with the story and Zevran's romance the way I had planned. I know there are many people here who know a lot about Alistair, so I hope someone will be able to give me some hints. I'd rather not start any major plot line now and I won't be able to get more gifts for him anytime soon. Does he give any approval for saving the girl in Stone Prisoner? Or in Warden's Keep? Any other minor quests? Except for RTO, I'm saving that for Loghain.

So to get a bunch of hairstyles and eyes, tattoos, etc in, you have to combine a few mods to work with each other. I highly recommend making overrides of these with DA Modmanager 1.9c... it's so much easier to edit an override instead of mucking around with the override folder. 

Make overrides of these but delete each mod's chargenmorphcfg file so we can use Bidelle's combined one:

More Hairstyles *delete chargenmorphcfg.xml
Pineappletree's Virbrant Colors (no eyes) *delete chargenmorphcfg.xml
Chargen Package *delete chargenmorphcfg.xml
CC Extra Tints & Tones *delete chargenmorphcfg.xml

Now add Bidelle's... 

Bidelle's Makeup Studio *get the full version and the compatible chargenmorphcfg for all 5 mods (not standalone)

It's a little complicated but it's cool. You can give yourself warden eyes like the Ashes trailer, or awesome scars, tattoos, etc..

I'd suggest these mods so you can have more options with any new characters... For my current Warden, I gave him the Ashes Warden eyes... I was considering giving him regular eyes & editing him after the Joining, but it isn't a big deal imo

Alistair likes talking about his past in the Chantry, just make jokes but don't make him look stupid. If you don't want to romance him you can have the 'if you were raised in the chantry then you never had...?' conversation, just be very careful with your answers.

Have you given him the White Runestone (Mage Tower) and the Stone Dragon statue (Redcliff Castle)? That might do it, you can also give him his Mother's amulet. That doesn't start a plot line as far as I know, I normally give it to him after his quest, so not sure about that last one.

I have, that's what brought him to +15 from negative approval. Oh well, maybe I will go to Brecillan after all and try my luck there. I know there's another gift for him and he approves of some nice actions. I hope it will be enough to unlock his personal quest.

You can do Stone Prisoner, I'm not sure if you get points for saving the girl. But when you activate Shale you get a persuade check with Alistair, that can give you some approval.

Edit: you get +2 approval from betraying the cat -> lie that you will let her go.

Depending on where you want Zevran to go, be careful. Lying to the cat will net you +4 with him.

Zev is at 37 (interested) at the moment, so he should be fine. I just don't want him to hit 'adore' before my Dwarf can get over Gorim or she'd have to turn him down. As far as she's concerned, all they have now is camaraderie and maybe some casual flirting.

You should be good then, Soulsweeper. Although I swear he ninja-approves in some way. Or it could just be my imagination. One time I had him at camp at 40 interested, went to the tower and some sidequests, and came back and he was at 69 interested. My HN was still diluting herself to thinking that she and Alistair would make a fine and proper couple, so I had to be real careful.

I could swear I never saw any "Zevran approves..." pop up, but to be honest, I don't pay much attention to the pop-up. Usually I have Morrigan with me, and I could've been just assuming it was her doing her 'thing'.

Yeah, Ramante, tone of voice and facial animation included, hehe.

I'm done with Honnleath. Alistair and Zevran like me a little bit more, Morrigan a little bit less and the girl is saved. Although I swear, after hearing "Kitty is so perfect and pretty!", "I was thinking about the sun, silly!" or "Kitty is my best friend!" for the nth time, I just wanted to feed her to the demon.
