It's cringe-worthy, but not godawful.  Fanfiction can get much, much worse! 

I saw some fanfic once where obi-wan impregnated luke skywalker. I haven't read any fanfic since... i know there's good stuff out there, but i just see flashbacks of luke telling obi-wan that there's a disturbance in his force, and a little part of me dies

I must have been lucky with the few fanfics I came across. They were actually quite readable.

The really bad one can be recognized within a paragraph, then I run away as quick as possible. Potential damage to my brain is not worth the risk.

It's not that hard. As soon as I realized that people will pair literally anyone with anyone (even anything) I embraced this as a fact awaiting always the worst and stopped worrying (paradox?).
But maybe my brain just denies anything beyond certain line...
Anyway that fic should be something!

It's just terrible. Every morning (it is even worse in the afternoon) I'm like 'wtf, 12 new pages?!'. It takes me at least one hour to read everything and most of the stuff I read isn't even about Zevran.

I read a few pages back something about a Sten x Zev fanfic... for some reason a part of me can understand why that would happen (this thread is getting to my brain really). After hearing Sten talk to Morrigan about biting through steal and other kind of strange.. 'equipment', combined with Zevran's talk about ropes and 'adventures'. I can just 'see' it happen. And I don't want to see it.  x.x

I stopped my elven mage - Zevran romance playthrough for now... I really don't know what to do with her, I really don't like playing as a mage it is not.. exciting enough or something like that. The feeling is not right.
Just played my FHN a little further, I decided not to harden Alistair (first time) and still marry him, my noble is going to become the real leader here. Just have to make sure he wants to marry her in the end.

What is more fun, romancing Zev as a human (noble) or as a city elf? I'm thinking about deleting my mage playthrough, it is not working for me. Or maybe starting over as a human mage and not choose the arcane warrior specialization..

I re-speced and re-started my current elf mage about 4 times before I got her the way I wanted.  Maybe just keep an early save so you don't have to do that boring origin over again.  There is also a lack of story in the mage origin that made it hard for me, up to now, to finish a mage character.  So naturally, her story has become a lot about the romances and the rest I had to fill in RP-wise.  I really wish they gave you something about your family, but I guess the openness is because it can go so many different ways.

As far as gameplay, I think the blood mage-Arcane Warrior combination is the most fun.  Who wants to be a buff mage the whole game, when you can kill stuff.  LOTS of stuff.

I was so disappointed, Anora betrayed us at the Landsmeet but we still won!  So no singing the hair of the nobles with exploding fireballs.  At the very least, my mage had no qualms about sending that backstabbing b*tch to the Tower.  Long live King Alistair.

Actually a good thing that I start over, this time I'm siding with Jowen and I'm going to be very, very mean towards a certain old person. Can't wait, I like this idea allready.

In general, godawful fanfic if fanfic that is beyond just bad, or laughable, and runs into being so bad it's a crime against humanity. 

In specific, Godawful Fan Fiction was a forum dedicated to finding and mocking bad fanfiction.  It's defunct now--since so much bad fanfiction is smut and bad fanfic authors whose work is mocked are vengeful, the forum got kicked off of several servers for Terms of Service violations, and then the webmaster got tired of it and moved on.  The newest incarnation is Why, God, Why?, but they've apparently had Terms of Service threats too and have locked the forum to guest viewers.

There are many kisses with Zevran.  There's actually assertive Zevran human female kisses as well -- I was talking about the default kiss (and tent scene) when mentioning that Zevran is more submissive.  Play around with different tent dialogs.  I can think of at least 3 different kisses from those.  Then there's the default kiss (Vanilla game when you ask him to your tent which is the same kiss DT uses).

Edit: I wish WISH WISH that the default dwarf kiss was the Zevran kneeling kiss.  *sigh* I love that kiss.  I'd play a dwarf far more often if that were it!

Actually, I wrote there were at least three.  I think there are four, actually, maybe five.  All hot, some just hotter than others.  The default kiss for all the races are the least interesting of them, I think.

Edit: Of course, that's just my opinion   I know there are people out there that love the default kisses most of all!

Oh yeah, the human female assertive kiss is squee-worthy. I hope DT fixed it good and proper. It's just not fair otherwise. Stupid dialogue choice.

We will see! For now I consider the devs beeing mean to us to make it that way.

 By the way, I appear to have a beta version of the Zevran ASAP mod (lets you recruit Zevran after Lothering) for folks who do not want to use the Console commands... I was working on it this morning. But I only have one save game without Zevran right now so I'll need to know how this works with other folks before i release it. Who wants to be my guinea pig?

I wouldent mind testing it but I only have one save file (Baren 2.0) thats still at Ostagar however but that shouldent be a problem~
