Titian and co. are at Lake Calenhad, about to go into the Tower. I will be taking Zev and Morrigan in, and leave Alistair behind. I've been through the Fade with Al 3 times now, and never with Zev, so I wish to see his 'dream'.



Titian is certainly moving quickly with Zev. Went to camp as soon as she let him live, and by the end of the 'night', she'd heard all about his three missions, without even having to give him a gift. Alistair flipped out at her about letting Jowan cast the spell to sacrifice Isolde and save Connor, and she ended up losing 16 approval, but I think she's managed to keep him still seeing her as a comrade and maybe friend. No romance lines that I've seen, and Titian has been quite careful about what she says to him.

In case you're still up, good luck Sadi. Zevran in the fade is really an eye-opener for the PC - both his nightmare, his reactions, and his comments.

Good news by the way! I have been working to fix the dazip issue and I believe it's finished. I have tested it on my own PC and finally roped my sister and another old Oblivion buddy into giving it a try too. They reported success!  So it is now available on the group page, and I'm going to move it to the Nexus tonight.

Please let me know if you have any issues. Remember to uninstall the old DAzip if you still have that installed. If it still reports it as "already installed" then go to you Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Addins/ folder and delete the zevranasap folder entirely. Make sure you have the game and anything related to the game (e.g. toolset, mod managers) closed before you delete or it will have a hissy fit. And remember to only install either the dazip or the override, not both.

I really hope this works for everyone! (cuz I wanna get started on the zevkiss overhaul)   But please report errors if you come across any, and if you have a compatibility issue with another mod, do let me know and I will try to adjust mine to work with both.

Ohh ouch, it looks like he's slicing his lips off on her pauldrons or something. 
I will definitely take a look at this when i have a chance. 
BTW does this always happen with every kiss, or is it a particular kiss, or random?

Hmm, I'm not sure if it's random or not, I will look into this. So there will be lots of Dwarf-Zevran kisses during this playthrough... for science!

I'm definitely going to try the Zevranasap mod, that's going to be fun. =3

With four dwarves, I only had one where she kissed his nose, the rest were ok. Dwarf female kisses, when they look right, are fabulous, but if they're bugged out, are awful. And no, it doesn't happen to every kiss, fortunately. The kneeling kiss is still extremely hot.



I don't use modded hair, and it could be the dwarves are always misaligned, it's just that default hair covers the face enough that you don't see the actual placement. It was my short haired dwarf that had the issue.

I guess once she is in fancy full plate it's not issue at all. But I admit I've seen nicer PC models in games (especially Asian people are experts on this, e.g. Aion PC creator is pure eyecandy).

It's buggersome, to be honest. Between this and the Warden's armor bug I have-the game has been a very big source of frustration.

That line makes much more sense now.

My Zevran thought for the day. Zevran, when he first meets you will tell you his life is forfeit since he failed in his mission to kill you. Later on, he may tell you after you two go to the tent for the first time that killing you will gain him little. Yet, after you meet Taliesen, it's clear that had he killed you, he could have gone back -- his failing the first time really wouldn't have made a difference as long as you ended up dead.

You also may learn in that after tent conversation that he could have easily killed everyone in the camp with poison.

It puts his betrayal in a different light, if he does betray the party. I think he wanted to die, but then saw his chance to escape the crows, and jumped at it. His telling the warden that killing her would gain him little may have more to do with the fact that he'd have to go back to the crows, rather than his life being forfeit. And if the warden never got to know him, he probably saw no chance at any life anyway.

Or am I reading really weird things into this this morning?

Edit: Taliesen said that they would have to make up a story, but that would be about why Zevran was running around with the warden and it took so long to kill her, not about why the first mission failed.

I didn't get the "Maybe it would be better for you if we end this." line at all. It was never an option. The entire tent refusal conversation was very different, in fact. Perhaps it was because he was at +100? I gave him his boots after the earring refusal. He basically confessed that he loved the Warden during the tent refusal and said he was confused. I'll replay it again to get the specific dialogue. It was after 3 am.

Hmmm, right after he declares his feelings, just before he offers the earring again, you should be able to select:

1. I am no wiser than you in this area, Zevran.
2. I do, and I feel the same way.
3. I don't feel the same way, I'm sorry.
4. Maybe it would be better for you if we stopped.

1 and 4 will lead to the second offering of the earring, 2 will lead to that being skipped but still a nice conclusion, and 3 will end up with a breakup.  4 really does give the best dialog -- I'm sorry you didn't have that option because what he says there is SO sweet. 

The tent refusals are different if you haven't been to the tent with him yet, and they are  cute if you haven't, especially if you get him snapping about not wanting to talk about "feelings."  But I think they're minor because they don't really affect the way the romance plays out.

Edit: I get your point about them being completely different, though.  I will change the wording about them being minor.

Taliesin, betrayal, not killing the warden: I agree the main motive seem to be to escape the crows. Persuading the warden to take him along then befriending and/or seducing them would be perfect way to finish the mission anytime later. Since it's not the case there is no space left for other explanation that he really wanted to escape his previous life. Maybe that's why one of first dialogues is a confirmation whether there is any future for him with the warden. If there is not, well why stay? Very plausible.

Though my first impression of Taliesin's speech was that it wouldn't work anyway. Once you slip and show possibility of betraying crows there is no way back, they know and they will kill you ... just in case.

Well, he did want to die. It was a suicide attempt. That failed. Do you think that his betraying the warden was just finishing off that attempt? But taking a few more of his team down with him? I sure do.
