Morning, Sabriana! Lucky people with good enough PCs to play this and thus get Zev as early as possible...
Hm... Wish I could help you, Addai...
What's the (Romantic) Appeal of Zevran?

Somehow I'm not able to make it work, DA Modder tells me there is no information in the override file, but this is no doubt because I haven't the first clue what I'm doing.
try installing the file into your override file manually
just cut/paste it into the folder
edit: also I finally finished the calling
there needs to be a silent sister specializeation

Oh, sounds great! Awesome work, Charsen, and thanks so much for doing that for all of us! You said though that the cutscene still shows up after the first main quest is complete? I'm going to be selfish and say it would be awesome if there were a way to fix that. :innocent: But really, you spoil us!
This semester's not as bad as last semester. I'd have entire weeks where I did nothing but read and study all day long. I couldn't even play DA:O for a month after getting it.
It was sooo rough. This semester I've just been ignoring everything and coasting by, but unfortunately when midterms roll around that doesn't really work anymore.
I'm actually thinking of putting off buying Awakening so I won't be tempted to play it and so I can get through the characters I want first. Except I'm worried about having everything spoiled in doing so... Meh, tough call. I wish they'd release this stuff at better times!

*chuckle* I've FFXIII coming this week, and I've to get RtO, but that's $5, so that's easy. Awakening will be forced to wait, so it will be spoiled for me no matter what I do.
No, midterms tend to make you shift focus, so you can't just coast by(which is what I did in high school... didn't do any homework, passed every test including midterms/finals and made my teachers flarking hate me).

well it seems I didnt have enough cash in the bank for Awakening since I had to do some food shopping
but Im getting paid next week which means unless I get swamped with crap I should be able to buy it and show off pictures of my Orlesian warden when it arrives~

Ugh, I remember all that vividly. I had one semester where I had 3 mid-terms in one day. I thought I would die. I lived on coffee and coffee, a little bit of more coffee for weeks. *Channels support to all the students out there*
As for the cut-scene introducing Zevran, it's really not hard to see it as a flash-back, a memory. Addai, there should be an override folder in your BioWare folder. It goes something like: MyDocuments/bioware/packages/core/override
Just drop any override file in there, if you don't like the mod, just delete it.

Yikes.
Sounds fun. Can't wait to see your Orlesian.
Sheesh, Titian has Zev's approval maxed already... She's done just Redcliffe and the Tower, and is doing some side-stuff in Denerim, then she's off to Haven to get the Ashes(might do that fun save-trick to unlock Reaver, as I've yet to do that...don't even have Blood Mage unlocked either.) and heal up the Arl before doing the elves and dwarves.

Heh, last semester I had 4 finals, a 15 page paper, and another huge test outside of school all in one week. I thought I was going to die, especially since I don't drink coffee, and I certainly don't do adderall like a lot of people do to get by. Just good old fashioned adrenaline. XD And the whole time, DA:O was sitting there, teasing me...
Meh, I probably will have to get Awakening soon. I really don't want to be spoiled, as I had some spoilers for DA:O that were major. But still, what a terrible time to release it, especially since it's only been a few months since DA:O came out.
(And my bf will be playing FFXIII also, so you're not alone, Sadi.
)

Never understood the point of schools deciding to throw everything they can on a student all at once... Great way to force a bunch of people into heart attacks >.> Hell, that's part of the reason I'm afraid to go to college.. I already have heart problems...
Hehe. I'm an FF Fangirl. Started with VII, but I've played most of them. Cripes, I still need to sit down and beat XII....

im not a FF fanat all though I do force my self to play them atleast alittle so when I do comment on why i dont like I can awnser why
as for FF12 that game had the most boring optional boss battle ever... infact Yiazmat is the reason I cant be bothered to finish the game WTF is the point of making a ****** easy optional boss where the hardest thing about it involves the fact its BORING I mean seriously its a 5 HOUR long boss fight
also got some more screenies but of the safe for work variety I also managed to get -9 approval from Zevran during the "what do you think about the dalish" conversation

There are set-ups to let you defeat Yiazmat in under 2 hrs, I believe... I honestly rarely bothered with optional bosses. Only ones I went after were the summons... And I've yet to defeat Zodiark. Got close, but those blasted Palings...
Yikes. -9? How'd you manage that??

How did you do that CZ? Where you rude? With my mage (the beta-tester), I've tried to keep him low, but she and the gang just returned from Denerim to camp, and he's already at +15, without any gifts, just a few conversations.
I didn't turn the romance on for my mage, and was very neutral in responses to him, yet still he is already at +15.
University isn't that bad, Sadi. It can be quite fun, actually. Just don't do what I did and pick all the toughest subject courses in one bloody semester
Although 15 pages is bad, Nonvita, I had a professor who insisted that a "Research Method" paper should be at least 25 pages long. Nice addition to the final term exams. I had nightmares about that dude, honest.

Heh. I'm on a beta-blocker, likely for the rest of my life, because I randomly go into Atrial Fibrillation. It scares the bejesus out of me and my family, because my sitting heart rate jumps to 200+....Usually end up in the ER when that happens...

I bet the 2 hour yiazmat set up also involves lots of (incrediblt boring) grinding plus thats still 2 hours which is WAY to longSurrealSadi wrote...

as for the -9 I didnt agree with his comment about them being products of their lives i get what he meant but Xanders life wasnt hard at all until Howe murdered his family and even after that his life wasnt near as harsh as Zevs
... I made it up to him but giving him the dalish gloves and jumping in the sack with him :3
any ways here are some zev pics

Yanno, I'm not sure.. It might need hours of grinding, it might not. I don't recall.

Mm, I'm a night or two of work away from that, unless I decide to keep myself awake as long as I can today.... only, in Titian's case it's a whiny little ex-templar for a husband and a sexy assassin as a lover.

Wow, that was quick. My amazon is still in the Deep Roads, trying to find Branka. But then again, I didn't get to play much the last couple of days.

Hehe. That would be funny...
Huh. I usually find a merchant as soon as I can and....'help' myself get a fair amount of gold... One thing I HATE in RPGs is running out of money...

Iv had enough money to buy several of the 80+ gold items with resorting to the lyrium potion trick :3
basically I just hoard everything I find and sell the stuff I dont need
I had 150+ gold worth of items just from the deeproads/orzammar alone

Ah. I do the "sell-back" trick. Easier on a console than PC, I think.. Usually get myself a few hundred gold by selling the Blood Dragon armor in Ostagar, then when I get to camp, buy the one weapon Bodhan sells, then use that to make something like 1500G, then I really needn't worry. I'll have enough gold to get anything my party needs.

well if I was that desperate for gold I would just use the cheat console which you console people dont get~

Haha. True. I'm just used to getting into an area, finding gear I could use, and having no where near enough to get it. I'd rather be able to get gear when I need it than cursing and swearing because I've not enough.

I've been following this thread for a little while, so I thought maybe I should finally say hello instead of being a stalker. So, um, hi.
For my first few playthroughs I stayed away from Zevran due to a "but he's evil!" preconception. By disapproving of his cavalier attitude towards killing, I never got his approval rating high enough to see his other side. This thread convinced me to give it another try.
I think the romance conversations are nicely written, and his jokes and jovial attitude frequently make me smile. I'm also enjoying the subtext with his character. As someone who is guarded and sometimes confused about his own feelings, paying attention to his facial expressions and tone of voice adds a whole new level to the interaction. It's something I didn't see as frequently in the Leliana and Alistair romances, and it's enjoyable to see that much depth in a character.
My city elf who is romancing him currently has him at +96 Adore and is in the process of finishing the last treaty quest. So I imagine I'll be getting to the Taliesin encounter pretty soon so the romance can move to the next stage. Looking forward to it.
Anyway, that's my small contribution to this impressively long dissertation that is the Zevran fan thread.
