Sorry, I wasn't meaning to be an ass   Someone a lot more knowledgeable than I on the subject had something to say about the actual gesture he was using.  Of course, airhead I am, I don't remember exactly what it was!

Edit: I do see him make that gesture at camp too.  Who knows.  It certainly is strange to think about.

It wasn't in my game either, ejoslin. I guess it's a special feature reserved only for people who name themselves after him, but with slightly poorer grammatical accuracy.

Ok, I have a new script for ZevranASAP (v2.0) that:

- puts the civil war/zevran loghain cutscene directly after teeeeeaaaagan's cutscene,

- updates the codex as you acquire zevran

- hopefully fixes any weird bugs(different code approach this time)



I need someone to test it out on their system though - it works for me, but I need others to check before i officially release it.



Since I adjusted the updates, you have to be at Flemeth's hut or before... since it updates you in Lothering to get Zevran, you must install this before then, otherwise you *never* get zevran. D=



I have an override or the file ncs file that should be placed in your override folders. I'll make a dazip if these work for folks. Through my testing so far I haven't encountered a problem.



Any takers? If so, I'll post the ncs and override up in the ZevranASAP group in a minute, so just grab it & lemme know.

But you do have to tell him there that you consider him your friend, NOT more than a friend.  Tell him that twice and prepare to completely squee.

Someone must prevent your untimely death.  A suitable task for a friend, yes?

No updates for me.   And now Lelianna's dialogue glitches every time I try to tell her that Zevran is spoken for.  I hate my Xbox.

I am going to end up purchasing a new PC just so that I can get off the glitchy Xbox to play this game (read- romance Zev on every horizontal surface in Thedas), and my husband is going to tease me about it until we are old and senile. 

It will be my post-mid-term gift to myself.  While the rest of you are busy taking exams, I am grading them.  It is just as bad from the other side of the desk, believe me.  I am fantasizing about feeding a few of my students to the archdemon...

 Sami Jo, you have to tell him when he's thanking you for saving him from the crows that you consider him a friend.  You can also select the line "I consider you more than a friend," but that does not give you this particular dialog, which is much MUCH better.

sadly, since i am also a TA, i not only get to take midterms, but i have to grade them too. i have 180 exams to grade by midnight tonight... happy. I get it from both ends, and I don't even get dinner first

Well try ejoslin's suggestion and see if it works out that way. Otherwise, I am sorry. I feel your XBox pain, and know that you will be so happy when you come to PC land with us! Hmmm, now if only they had a mod so you could romance Zevran on every horizontal surface... They could even make it a mini-game. XD

Ouch, I'm sure it's NO fun having to grade. But remind me not to have you as a teacher, since I like to not be fed to Archdemons thank you very much. =P

Edit again: I really should think more before I post things. I am so sorry to hear that Charsen. I really hope things get better for you and if there's anything we can do to make you feel better, please let us know.

That explains why I don't recognize it.  I only have one playthrough with him as a friend and not a lover at the end.  The silly mage got dumped by an unhardened Allistair after she married him off to Anora.  She was busily trying (unsuccessfully) to turn the romance back on with Zev once she realized she had definitely picked the wrong man.

It's a friendship dialog.  You have to have him at 71+ Friendly or love to get it.
