Very smart husband, sami.

Well, I'm unsure which category I fall into, ejoslin. I just turned 27, but am one of those with no real social skills thanks to my peers in middle and high school for deciding that, since I was -fat-, I was the perfect target. I have few friends, but no real relationship experience.

Bleh. I am also very introverted, and it is a difficult way to go through life. I spent my middle and high school years skulking in corners, and somehow survived it.  But kids can be so horrible, and it's not so easy to brush things off.  Bleh.

I got Schmooples once. But since it requires having Leliana in one's party, it's doubtful I'll get it again.

Oh god... The squeaking is worse than the damned mabari's barking!

I got very sick of trying to have serious conversations with my companions only to have that DOG barking in the background! And I never once used him in battle. Not. Once.

BTW, does the game actually ever call that nug "Schmooples" at any point? I never could interact with it, and Leliana never said its name to me.

They say that the cruelest thing in the world is the innocence of a child... Yet by that age, a child is no longer innocent, and thus I am sure they reveled in the pain they caused... And yes, such things are difficult to work past, especially when it's been harassed into one's mind over and over, every day between September and June for 7 years.

Ditto on the introverted for me.  Between that and the fact that I was itty bitty and uber nerdy, middle school was pretty horrible.  I practically had a sign on my forhead that said, "Hit me."  My husband is the social one.  I hide behind him at parties.

Kill the damn mutt.

And I think Leliana names it Schmooples the first time you talk to her after getting it.

Its name is over its head, in camp. And Oghren refers to it as well. As Schmooples.

The dog can be very useful in battle, particularly when he gets overwhelm, and mabari dominance is pretty useful all around.  The conversations between your companions and the dog are highly amusing.  The nug, on the other hand, has absolutely no redeeming value.

Heh, same here, when I HAVE to go to the stupid party.  I have a really bad habit of using my kids as an excuse.  "Honey, you go, have fun, if anyone asks tell them that the babysitter couldn't show."  God knows what his colleages think of me!

I always try to sit with my back to the wall at restaurants.  Zevran would approve.

That's good advice for anyone.

And just did the save-do something stupid-reload trick to get a trophy and a specialization unlocked. Yay for Sacriligeous and Reaver.

i suppose i am somewhat anti-social, especially these days since my old group graduated, got jobs and left for other states, leaving me - the youngest of the bunch - here to hold the fort in this blasted state. though I still enjoy going out to the bars and clubs every week since i am addicted to flirting. especially with the quiet or nervous ones, or the foreign ones... heheheh.

but I always value my private time and get quite cranky if deprived of it.

Most I know of are mothers about 30-40, so, I think not.

Then they are the ones that Disney managed to brainwash into thinking that every girl has a Prince Charming out there.

Oh I definitely need my "me" time. One of the best things about the relationship I'm in now is that we both definitely need alone time. I can't handle it when I'm dating someone who feels like they need to be attached at the hip every waking moment. Aaaaaah how am I supposed to get through this book if you're TALKING TO ME ALL THE TIME?!

And Twilight.

*dodges tomatoes*

Sorry, but it has interested me how many Twilight fan"girls" are in fact very grown very married women. But then I guess it was written by a grown, married woman.

No, a realist. Most do not find their true soul mate. They simply find someone to share what remains of their life with.
