Thank you.  That is what I ended up going with.  I just wish there was an option to tell him you want him to say and then kiss him.  It's one of the better kisses, at least on the Xbox version.

It's the default kiss on the pc -- the one you get whenever with DT installed.  It is a nice kiss

I really need to learn how to mod- modders are obviously getting all the love.  It is just mean and cruel and wrong that that great kiss is the only public kiss you get with Zevran and it turns the romance off forever.

Well, to be fair, there's another public kiss you can get there.  But, ummm, you don't want that one either.  It's even worse.  You get it just before he leaves.

i just scraped off a barnacle today, heh. now where is RL Zevran when you need a man?? Not so fast, Alistair, .....though the lamp post licking might change my mind.

but yeah, this summer i drove 10,000 miles across the country. Iowa to NY to DC to KY then up to South Dakota and Montana, down the Rocky mountains to NM, west to California (Comic Con) then San Diego to Oklahoma(family & powwow) to Georgia & Florida(more family) and back up to DC. Wyoming was ridiculously boring... Texas too, but at least they had towns. I haven't been to kansas, but i imagine western texas is similar enough

the episode about Ace's backstory in BB pissed me off not because it was bad but the subject matter in general infuriates me to no end (I never tried watching Krypto though I value my sanity to much)

... I find it funny how I seem to derail this topic :3

that would be ace to bathound or the incredibly bastardalized version of it any ways

the Batman Beyond version was a normal dog that was used in illegal dog fighting until it broke out and ran into bruce

that *thing* int he picture I posted is a talking abomination from a childrens show designed for 5 year olds

I agree, I hate the subject matter in that particular episode, but the fact the Ace found a kindred spirit in Bruce, and Terry, redeems it. I caught it only twice, and stopped because I went WTF. First time was because of Isis trying to steal some magical amulet. The second time for the Batdog.... *shudder*

Batman beyond did have some really nasty stuff in it (though yes Ace did have a happy ending in the end which was good the dog kicks ass)

I mean look at what Joker did to Robin (read torture and brain wash him for several weeks), of that nerve gas they tested on the baby cow in the first episode :crying:

Well, that series was not designed for younger kids, so Timm was able to get away with a lot more. Like Mr. Freeze and actually killing someone!!

true its not designed for younger kids (hell JL/JLU had stuff that obviously wearnt for kids either the amount of inuendo in those shows is hilarious)

and God I love Mr Freeze that episode was pretty damn sad (plus his backstory was rather tragic as well)

No, if he sides with Taliesen, he dies.

Basically, there are two public kisses you can get right there.  BOTH you don't want.  One of them trips people up a lot because you basically tell him twice it's his choice whether he stays or goes.  He'll ask to stay, and if you tell him that it would be hard to kiss him if he left, he kisses you, but the romance never switches to Love.  And you may as well reload if that happens, because nothing else good happens.

The other time, which most people won't see, is if you start by telling him that he's safe from the crows as long as no one tells them he's still alive.  You can go down that tree, and you're basically telling him to make his own life.  He kisses the warden, and leaves.

Edit: So if you're on a console and doing the Zevran romance, just keep in mind, you do NOT want him to kiss you immediately after Taliesen.  It's bad, bad, bad!

Second edit: I know spoilers are kind of ick, but you may want to look at my faq anyway.  It's hugely spoiler, but many people miss out on the sweetest moments because they are SO counter intuitive.

Yeah... I loved JL/JLU, especially things like Epilogue where Timm references a lot of his prior work...

I agree, that episode was pretty sad... A chance at normalcy, then poof, everything gone...

It was a little WTF, but made sense. Helped explain why Terry didn't really resemble his father.

Hehe. I'm just in the Dalish camp, so I get to see Zev plead to spare the elves soon.

I would have preferred to find out Terry's mom cheated on her father than what they pulled (and finding out she was cheating isnt nearly at WTF worthy as some of the relationship crap they have pulled before)

wow that's an ... interesting... Dwarf there CZ.... I am a bit...ahem... conflicted about that guy lol

One good thing about being old like me is that I finished grad school way before I started gaming (well, there was PnP but you needed a group for that so it was easy to schedule studying around that). I would definitely flunk out if I were in school now... Or maybe when I was younger I just had more discipline and now I figure I'd better enjoy my life before I keel over. Anyway, good luck to you all. It's definitely worth staying in just to have the satisfaction of finishing.

well I finished Orzammar tonight. Had a weird group of my Dalish Archer, Zevran, Wynne, and Orghran in his orignal gear. We actually kicked butt till Broodmother. by then I was down to only about 4 crappy lyrium pots and tried to kill her about 4 times before I realized I needed a decent tank. Ran all the way back to camp, substituted Alistair for Oghran, and it was a cinch. Then had to swap out Zevran for Oghran to finish the void.

Went back to camp, and broke up with Alistair (this is right after Wynne teased him for watching me "sway". I would have felt guiltier except he didn't even really try to talk me out of it. Poor sheltered boy.) Now I have Zevran just into care, and tomorrow will be ready to start the Dalish (my last of the main quests). I just don't want to be anyone's mistress. I'm either with Alistair or with Zevran.
