Seriously. Oghren's like Alistair- I don't see how you could want to ****** him off. OK, well I ****** off Alistair because he's hot when he gets angry, but that does not apply to Oghren!

Good advice   Well, we'll see what happens next week.  I know none of my wardens would do well if something happened to Zevran.  All of them were pretty damaged from the start.  Probably the one who would be the worst is the princess-consort HNF (ok, any of them, I have a few) just because she would HAVE to keep going.  She's a bigger slave to duty than Alistair.  I know with all of them, though, that no one would get anywhere near her again.  And most likely, with all of them, she'd be a better grey warden because that would be all that she is.

Gah, I would be too sad to keep playing, though!

Yep.  If we can create our own backstories and imagine all the extra motivations & subplots ingame as we do, I have no difficulty with carrying on my own personal canon.

I dislike the sterotypical drunken dwarf.  So, Titian is gonna be a total b*tch to him.

ETA: Besides, the only voice I enjoy hearing Steve Blum do is his normal voice(ie, Gorim, Vincent Valentine, Spike, etc., though especially Vincent)

I have to say, I have developped quite a liking for Zevran as of late. I usually don't have him in my party, but now that I have, I really like the guy. For starters, he is the only elf that doesn't annoy me. The only party member that has a grasp on politics (love his comment about Harrowmont). And he is funny in a witty and not annoying way (a la Alistair).

I initially didn't like him much because he didn't fit my idea of what an assassin "should" be like. But I got to know him better and I really like the character.

It's nice to hear! He definitely can take some getting used to, but he grows on you like... er... mold on the leftovers in your fridge...?

Next thing you know you'll be inviting him back to your tent! Just make sure to stop by for tips on how best to do it.

My mage would go around the twist. He would lay WASTE to whoever took Zevran from him, which probably means a deal with demons, since he's a healer, not anyone who does the fire and brimstone type magic. Once the vengeance had been sufficiently dished, off to the Black City to get him back or if that's impossible, stay there with him.

This sort of reminds me of Lost, if any of you guys follow it - the last episode with Sayid going to the Smoke Monster to ressurect the love of his life.

Edit: Charsen, explain to me. Why no clothes, yet you're wearing gauntlets. Double edit, oh wait, I see you're wearing boots too. C'mon man, just go all the way if you're going to do it!

KnightofPhoenix, even if I weren't a rabid fangirl, I think I'd have Zevran with me at least usually for those reasons. Well, it's hard to say, because those are a big part of the reason I'm a rabid fangirl

ok so I read the "what if Zevran died" posts and got all depressed just thinking about it because I just got the adore rina story..... all squee.



Then I see the nekkid mage pics and now I'm sad AND laughing.... you guys give me an emotional workout!



Oghran... I haven't warmed up to him much either---he starts out so stereotypic. But people say he can be fun so next playthrough I might do orzammar first just to get him and have him around longer. It's hard tho, cause I really like Sten. so it's hard for me to justify oghran. Maybe I'll make a mage to heal (again) and raise Sten up to be the Sword and Board tank so I can have Ogrhran and Zev in party with me and sten.....
