oh just read about darkwolf . wouldn't that be cool but I'm not getting my hopes up, either, and I'm actually looking forward to awakenings for the friendship/joking relationships. As long as the writing is good, I'll be ok without Zevran for part of the game...at least, I feel that way today.



Re marriage: I think Zev would do whatever the PC wanted and I also think that while he maybe wouldn't ask just for himself, he would also love the idea that the PC wanted such a public recognition of their relationship.--just like he seems surprised but very pleased to be kissed in public (well, if you have DT)

One of the epilogue endings had Zevran in Amaranthine and that he would assist the Wardens in their training. So it's not completely impossible for Zev to be the dark wolf, who is obviously in Amaranthine.

They basically imposed the Oghren marrying felsi ending as "canon", so they could do the same for Zev.

Regarding the dark wolf... Somehow I doubt it could be Zevran because if this dark wolf figure is critical to Awakenings in any way, its dependence on a character from DAO is too risky since Zevran can be killed by the player, dismissed by the player, betray the player or stay loyal to the player. There's a lot of variables to consider with that, particularly if he is killed. It would be awesome though, so I hope there is some connection.

Since they already taken consideration of many player's choices, it's still possible that the Dark Wolf would be Zevran, if the player has saved him, or, on the contrary, another non-returning character. Didn't they do something similar for Mass Effect 2? If it is a little cameo, I believe it's possible. Still, I will keep my hopes down

I agree with you KnightofPhoenix - I am not sure who else could be this dark wolf character, and Zevran would fit it very well otherwise.



Just looking at DAO's "shady" characters... Zevran, Taliesin, Leliana, Marjolaine - and I can't see any of these working for the above reasons. There's that guy from the Crows in the Denerim bar... but you can kill him too.



So, I guess I'm going with Liara. =P

I've got some really good screenies from my last amazon (2). She hopped onto Flemeth's head, while Zevran stands right underneath, admiring her. Squee.
I'll load them onto PB (no, I don't mean PeanutButter) and send it over asap.

edit:also about the dark wolf in Awakenings...it better be Zevran if hes alive because otherwise theres some poser running about ! (the dark wolf is the title you are given when you complete the crime wave quests)

I picked up my elven mage playthrough, she's very close to Taliesen encounter. And I can't wait till the moment my new mage gets there, I want it asap. v.v

Zev was very sweet when they were fighting Jarvia, everytime one of the assassins came after my mage he saved her. (long live dirty fighting)



@ejoslin, you had a playthrough where you did Orzammar first right? Is it very hard and could you open all the chests in the Deep Roads or did you only picked up Oghren and left again? I want to do Orzammar first, but I don't want to be forced to go to the Deep Roads again later in the game only for some stupid locked chests.
