I feel sorry for Anora.



She's probably the most intelligent person in this entire game when it comes to matters of politics, and was forced to run the entire country behind her unfaithful husbands back for the longest time because he was little more then a spoiled idiot, then when he finally dies, her father has to take over to keep the country from falling apart. And then at the end, most people shackle her to their Warden, or Alistair, when she really just wants to be alone so she can rule in peace, poor girl never gets to just do her thing.

CZ, even the breakup option "I'm sorry" is worth posting. It's Zevran at his absolute best. It shows how he always puts the Warden first, no matter what. It is destroying him, but he wants the Warden to be happy, and it's SO sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. Of course, whenever I test a breakup with Zev, I'm in a horrible mood for hours. But I have the screenies of that one already.

But, thinking about this more, I realize that it's not really so surprising that he goes if you don't ask him to stay as a friend.  You're basically telling him you only kept him around for his usefulness to you, and that's not enough since his life is in danger and if he leaves he has a chance to make a new life elsewhere.  He finishes that conversation "thank you, this has been a most beneficial relationship."  It reminds me of when you tell him "no, that's too much" in response to the question of whether the earring is a proposal or not.  He suddenly switches to calling you "Warden" and gets all business-like.

Ugh, I do not plan on Titian breaking up with Zevran to marry Alistair...I think she'd shoot herself(in a medieval sense)...

Hahahaha, I reloaded and did the royal scandal of course. But I had to know!  In a way, it would be easier if Zevran WOULDN'T stay with the HNF if she got married -- then Alistair would end up married to Anora a LOT more often!

@Moregothic: Whichever you choose, I really do suggest that you romance Ali first and then break up with him for Zev. There is just a lot more to the Zev romance. Once you bed Ali, you're pretty much finished until the landsmeet when you can become his bride as a HNF, become his concubine if he's hardened, or get dumped if you put him on the throne and he isn't hardened. Otherwise, nothing more happens for the rest of the game. With Zev, it's ridiculously easy to get in the tent with him, but it takes the rest of the game for all the other parts to play out. Take him to the Circle with you.



Personally, I have a thing for elves, and I hate that the human females tower over Zev. I'm definitely in the minority with my elf PC obsession here though

Ok, it's VERY close to the HNF version. It starts differently.

Zevran: Have you heard the rumors about the future queen? She has an elven fellow on the side. Handsome, naturally.
Warden: Naturally
Or the other two choices you have up already.

Other than that, it's exactly the same.  CZ, he strikes me as upset even when you stay with him.  It's that last line.  Problem solved.  Ugh.  UGH!

Edit: You have to admit, when you tell him, "I'm sorry," it is so apparent how much he loves the warden and just wants what's best for them.

and no he doesnt exactly sound the happiest no matter how much he tries to act (also Im trying to get lulzy loghain watching us make out pics but damn he doesnt like to turn our way all the time like Alistair does!)

For those of you who spare Loghain: how do your PC's justify it?



I have only done it once. The PC was putting Allistair on the throne and knew that it would be the best way to keep his new king as far away from the fighting as possible. He didn't want a repeat of Cailin and did not want Anora on the throne alone. The dark ritual has become my cannon because I have yet to have a character that would let Anora rule alone, Loghain is too vile for words, and after seeing the US ending once, I just can't do it again.

Aww, Zevran is so adorable, whether happy or sad. Happy is better, of course. It is so maddening the way he tries to make you feel better when you're breaking his heart, though.
