Hm. I just saw something I've not seen in my previous plays of the Opening Quests at Ostagar. Duncan Heard the approaching Ogre, turned to try and stop it, but was knocked aside like a twig. I assume that was what injured him, as we saw after his leap onto said Ogre and he clutched his abdomen. First time I saw that...

seriously I dont even flirt with her, I insult the crap out of her beliefs and have even used the damn cheat console to try turn the blood romance off >_<



god I *hate* her, Princess Stabity is going to be taken to the Ashes when i defile them next playthrough thats for sure >_<

Holly crud!!! I've not started a mage yet... Holy crap... Irving seemed so nice to my Dalish, despite my Dalish not liking the Circle. I am so creeped out now. Do you get a chance to kill Irving and the head of the templars? I would think if you are powerful enough, there should be no reson why you can't slaughter them and let Fereldan believe they were just victims of the chaos there like so many others. I wouldn't want to harm the mages, though... I want to run through the halls shouting 'Run and be free!!! This is your chance!!!' And let Wynne live in her stupid tower full of corpses all alone.



heh... As far as Lel goes, I was charmed by her friendly and silly demeanor myself, at first. Then when I finally got her to admit what she was, she recounted her past, but with such inconsistency in regards to remorse. She claimed she's remorseful, but she doesn't show any signs that she truly feels it. She wasn't a slave abused since early childhood like Zev. No, she was a spoiled brat who fell in love with a ruthless bard leader and was perfectly happy to kill and do who knows what else on command. She may have been tortured for treason, which was a crime she didn't commit, but she probably had it coming, really, since she CHOSE to harm others for her own gain, because it was fun and charming and because OMGz, she's soooo in love with Marjolain.



Even her bit about joining the chantry to repent was BS... she only joined because they offered sanctuary from the Orlesian Chavaliers and Margolain.



I don't trust any line she feeds me anymore. She's a spoiled bard with a Marry-Sue complex who says whatever I want to hear because if she's with the warden, then that means she's important, and super special, and that's all he daft little bard truly cares about. That's how I see her.

*finally* finished Orzamar (please give me a mod that skips over all of it to the Anvil of the Void and gives all experience and items/gold) *sigh* And called the Landsmeet.



While travelling to Denerim I had a Zevran *squee* moment. Met up with a pack of bandits and I accidentially clicked on Zevran (trying non-full screen mode in a high res to get screenies and my video card is making me motion sick) and I got "Si amore?" Never had that before.



Did the Talisen encounter and F5 F9 for all the convo options....*sigh* I really liked his response to "And not if anyone tells them" But really the "Do what's best for you" lines are the best.....



And does Alistair nina-love like Leliana is like to do? I swear I had Alistair at +33 Warm prior to heading back to Denerim after Orzamar, and all of a sudden I go to talk to him in camp after some sidequests and i get the thank you for Goldanna speech, get a +2 approval there and then click on him in Denerim accidentally (I don't think I can handle my video card at the higher res....) and he offers me a rose. So after the convo (I was decently nice and got +4 so I *should* have been at +37) I check and he's at +59 care, and I'm like WTF? I still have the "Has anyone ever told you you're handsome?" and the "Since you were raised in the chantry hev you never...?" lines available to my PC.....



My last save was at the Anvil of the Void and I really really don't want to go back and redo all the little bitty sidequests. I Didn't gift him or do anything that I should have gotten stealth approval for,,,,from this point out, what do I need to do to not get any further approval, or to get some minor negative approval?



Hmmmm never mind. Just thought of it. I can tell him "We need to end this now" Do you get a large approval hit? I wante dto keep Alistair at witehr neutral or friendly this game. (See if your'e getting Duncan's shield this play through!)

BTW, what's the general opinion to Zevran's accent? Spanish, Portuguese (sp?), Italian, Basque? Combo of above? I've personally pinned him to the Iberian penninsula, but.....not being European my ear isn't as good for the romace language accents..

All the Companions have their own agenda, save Dog, since he's a dog, and maybe Alistair, since he's a Gray Warden. Wynne and Leliana want to be seen as "doing something important". Zevran is paying off a life-debt, as it were. Sten is seeking an answer for his leaders. Morrigan is out to save an Old God's soul. Oghren wanted to save his nutcase of a wife. Shale, well, I don't count her because she's DLC and not everyone has/uses her. Loghain, if spared, is there to pay for his crimes to Ferelden and the Wardens. The only ones really interested in ending the Blight are the PC, Alistair and Dog. At least until you subtly alter certain Companions via conversation.

@ES: tell us how you really feel about the silly redhead.

I don't hate the character.  She is kind of pathetic to me.  I have certainly encountered women and a few men who will try to contort themselves into anything their love interest wants.  It is far from appealing to me, but she would be fine as a companion.  The ninja-love thing adds a whole other level of crazy to her.  I had one playthrough in which I broke up with her three times before I hit level 12.  I just stopped talking to her entirely for the rest of that run after that.

not counting her is rather stupid even if she is DLC she comes free with the game unless you buy it used and was originally planned to be in the game to begin with

And ESage, I agree, at first Leli comes across as innocent and sweet, until the after Marjo. convo, then it's like, "Okay, what? Wow, did I read you wrong!"

I think Alistair always offers the rose, he's trying to "be a man" and take the initiative, at least thats the impression I got, even if you don't show any interest in him, its more of a "might as well try to see if she'll like me :3" kind of thing.



As for Zevran's accent, its nothing, the VO was told to do an accent similar to a Spanish accent, but not quite, and thats what the VO did, the closest thing to it would be Spanish, but its not exactly close enough to it, more of a cheap Spanish version.

@Jaulen: I'm pretty sure his VA is American. I'd say he was aiming for Spanish, but the accent drifts a bit.
