 man, you guys seriously make me blush irl, you know 

but, if there are any suggestions as to stats etc, lemme know - i've got it as an amulet currently, since i figure you could just lace a necklace through an earring hoop. but i could turn it into a ring too. it's too bad we can't wear earrings.

Typical elf/dwarf rivalry.  It probably isn't really taboo, but I liked to think of it as exceedingly rare. 

Aw, but Zevran and Oghren are great.  At least Zevran seems to like him, while Oghren is worried about Zevran keeping his pants where he can see them.  LOL

And if you're an elven PC, Hespith says, "An elf?  Exotic, and impossible."  So I just imagine Sereda eventually thinking "An elf?  Exotic, and POSSIBLE!"  I am guessing she is going to jump in the sack not long after Gorim breaks her heart, but not see it as serious til later.

as for Stats  I wouldent make it OTT but we dont want it useless... either

Actually elf-anything is taboo in elven culture. The elves marry their own. The dwarves would obviously lose their caste.

So yeah--that would be double taboo.

Not really an issue for Zevran or for a game dwarf, however.

Amulet sounds reasonable :3 But so does a ring, whichever! XD
As for stats, hmm... how about a Willpower point or two, and maybe "reduces hostility"? /random thought

i have it with dexterity so far, i figure Zevran would, ah, definitely school the Warden in the realm of flexibility
Willpower is a good idea too, for nothing gives you more confidence than the love of a good man
reduce hostility might make warriors upset though - i can make a ring version too

how about +3 to Dex/Cunning and reduce hostility/10% healing effects receive traits?

oh yeah, the healing effect bonus would be nice.
wouldn't warriors dislike the hostility drain since it would reduce their ability to hold aggro? *hasn't played a warrior in DA yet*

Yeh, reduce hostility may not be great, though +healing is always nice. I'm thinking -1 willpower *grin* Well, heh, maybe it's just me!

a Sword and Shield warrior wouldent like the hostility drain but a 2HW and Duel Weild wouldent want the Aggro (Xander certainly doesnt want aggro bloodthirst make him take 20% more damage)

why not make a version of the earring for all 3 classes?

Morrigan knows about the godbaby plan from the beginning but that doesn't mean she's a total baddie. I think, esp with female characters, she gains some real affection. and I also think Flemeth is sincere about the blight being "bad" . I am not convinced that ALL old ones are BAD. I've even got some mixed emotions about Flemeth actually.



Re blood magic. I don't think blood magic is evil in itself. for small things, and usuing your own blood, I think it's fine, and that's how my most recent mage justified it. Using the life force of others---particularly against their will, IS evil. But then, I think addicting templars to lyrium is evil..making people tranquils is evil, they way elves can be treated is evil... anyway, you get my point. it's DARK fantasy for a reason.



Re "act of creation" I read that a "the sex act" which is why he uses that phrase with males, while he uses another phrase when talking about females. I seriously believe that if Zevran KNEW he had a child he would not have been suicidal. It would have been a big issue for him -- could he see him/her? etc etc. I cannot believe he would have allowed the Crows anywhere near a child.

Hmm, it's true enough about the hostility drain -- it just seemed Zev-appropriate in my head. XD  (also I never tank, la~ ) While he won't be the one wearing it, he did wear it for years himself!

But yeah, I'm not fixed on anything in particular. Just would prefer no negative modifiers (though ejoslin has a point about willpower  ).

Edit: Oh, duh, a dex stamina (what I meant to say the first time) modifier would be a natural fit!

because you know you certainly need a good deal of stamina to keep Zev satisfied :3

I'm glad I stayed up long enough to see CZ's promised screenies. Now I'm going to sleep with those images in my mind and I hope they'll produce some nice dreams, if a little bit bizarre. Goodnight guys, I expect this thread to hit 300 pages by the time I wake up

First stat buffs that came to my mind were dex (of course), cunning & willpower.  The last because it affects stamina & we know why that's needed, & it affects mana for those magical tent nights . .  .
