Every single time there's a Crow encounter there are crows around.  Every single time.  Makes me think, "Yes, I got it."

Ignacio's kidnapping mission--crows. 

So if you're wondering if there might be a Crow hunting you, just look around for crows.  If you don't see any, you're in the clear. 

So weird that this got brought up becuase I was wondering about it last night at the start of the Talsien encounter....

Last night there were three crows hopping around, and I think I know why my party members all died right away, my PC stood there not doing anything since I was so fixated on the crows hopping around THAT DIDN"T HAVE ANY LEGS.....it was very bizzare watching them....

I wrote this a few weeks ago for the Shale Limerick thread and since we're talking about her and Zevran's banter, it seems an appropriate time to post it here.

An ode to Shale and Zevran

He says he's an elf and a Crow,
Does he think that I do not know?
The difference between,
Those feathered fiends,
Were he smart, he would just let it go.

I see the gleam in his eye,
But his plan has gone quite awry,
Friendship with a bird?
Don't be absurd.
I mean to see them all die.

Why must this elf persist,
Fowls and I can not coexist,
The wording is apt,
When I say 'Pigeon Crap!'
No squishing, I have to resist.

I want to flatten that Crow,
With my fist I would lay him low,
But the Warden's in love,

Zevran tells me he's an Antivan Crow
"Not a pigeon, Dear Shale, don't you know?"
I really don't care whether
He wears clothes or a feather
"DEATH TO ALL PIGEONS" is my quid pro quo.

'If given sufficient cause, why not?' is one of my favourite lines. It was the last thing I expected him to say. As if it's something he's likely to do I like the conversations with Oghren too - those two are quite sweet together.



Alistair's accent does absolutely nothing for me. In fact it maybe scores slightly negative points. I didn't like Zevran's accent at first, but I love it now. I could listen to him talk all day. (Which is maybe why I keep replaying certain scenes).

Really?  I think mine have legs, but they don't bend.  Their hopping is more like levitating than hopping.

Anyway, there's a thread in the Awakening section, opened by a lucky lad who got Awakening today. Around page 5 or 6 he might mention something about something (hey, I'm trying to stay vague here!) - nothing specific, as I said - and I can tell you that I'm a little, little, little hopeful!

Argh, I hate looking for youTube vids of music, with lyrics, and then disagreeing with the lyrics.   But, I was listening to one of my fave songs today, and realized that it worked really well for our favorite assassin :3

Queens of the Stone Age - No One Knows
Lyrics note: they list "a fool of mine" in the chorus, but at least some of the repetitions should be "a fool am I"... which makes even better sense for Zevran.

oh yes I was definatly chaotic... Stabbed a bully in the arm with a pencil and hit him in the head with my science book and never tried again (also got away with it to )

I read on a walkthrough that the Honnleath Shale quest can also count as your first "post-Lothering" quest, and that after that you can get the Zevran cutscene. (this is on 360, so without mod)



Can anyone confirm this? I'd love to do Honnleath immediately after Lothering and then be able to take Zevran along on each treaty quest.

Tis an interesting thread... I so totally wish I could get it.... I just got FFXIII Thursday(have NOT played it yet. I want to do RtO and finish Titian's playthrough at the very least before playing FFXIII...) and I'm not about to ask if I can get a $30 expansion on top of a $60 game.

As far as I know, no, Honnleath doesn't count. The fastest way remains the Urn of Sacred Ashes or Arl of Redcliffe.

As far as I know, no, Honnleath doesn't count. The fastest way remains the Urn of Sacred Ashes or Arl of Redcliffe.

Actually, it might... I have a save in Camp before heading to Redcliffe(at least I should). I could load it later and test it.
