Dwarves ought to be most against it though.

i never noticed anyone being outright against it in the story. and i never had the impression that the chantry had a stance on it at all. i might be just oblivious though... that is not uncommon for me

Basically he doesn't recognize anyone has any authority over him but himself, loathes the Chantry, and doesn't have much use for the Dalish.

Edit: And SurrealSadi, I had no doubt you were right.  I edited the Wiki and changed my FAQ before going and testing it myself. I just like to be able to say, "*I* tested this personally blah blah blah" because I'm anal that way 

Oh I can totally understand wanting to test it yourself just to make sure. I've done that with other games, especially FFVII, with all the "Get Sephiroth in your party" and "Revive Aeris" rumors... I think I tested about all of them...

The wiki states that same sex relationships are considered unusual but not frowned upon in Fereldon. I have no clue how accurate that is, but that would suggest that perhaps the powers that be wouldn't be all that upset about a gay marriage.

So bugger the Chantry and claim you and your love are married. You don't NEED it to be official....

Or, as mentioned earlier, ask the King of Ferelden to officiate the marriage.

Well, you are the Hero of Ferelden. Just... say its a small boon he can grant you. And if he balks, remind him of the little favor you did him by saving his life, however you managed to save it(sparing Loghain or boffing Morrigan).

Thanks, good source. 

My elven blood mage is anti-authoritarian, he sees no need to have his relationship with Zevran validated by larger society.  To him only what he and Zevran think matters.  If he did get married, the guest list would be very short as his only real friends are: 

1.  Leliana
2.  Oghren
3.  Alistair (sometimes)

Since he doesn't value the opinion of society and doesn't have friends and family to celebrate with, he's not very interested in a ceremony.

As an aside, Storm of the Century is EVIL. My mage loves casting it. Granted, I need to pump his Con a bit more, get him to 14 for AW, then he'll REALLY have fun.

Edit: And PS3 needs Re-Spec Tomes!!!! Without having to get Awakening!

As for Mor (my Dwarf Noble) I've decided that a hardened Alister will be marrying Anora as its his duty as last of the Theirin bloodline and Loghain will be recuited as this would unite Ferelden, now I just need to decide Ritual or not (I'm leaning toward not so Loghain can redeem himself, which also means it will have different ending then my Mage).

My problem is I can't execute Loghain because I hate that whole cut scene...I did it once and immedately reloaded because it made me feel ill and also because I don't belive Loghain deserves it and agree with his statement that Cailan's death was his own fault and Ostagar shouldn't have been fought at all, but this isn't the thread for that.

Hmmm, I am playing a BM/AW right now, but I think this build I'm doing may be weird. So far it seems effective, though. But I went through many levels with lots of talent points just because I wasn't sure how to spend them. I'm 16 now, and encounters are stupid-easy.



I haven't decided if AW really adds to a BM's power, though. I did take your advice on Evon's with heavy dragonscale gloves and boots -- it's fabulous. And wacking things with a sword does do nice damage, though she's slow. I guess haste is the next order of business to get! Though that means buying books, of course!
