Just noticed him... similar premise, that's true.
That's gonna be an awkward conversation though..

MorGothic i would recommend checking out hmm... aha: SilentCid for his video tutorials and also dragonage22 but those are sometimes a little vague imo, that will at least get you eased into the basics! from that point it depends on what part of the toolset piques your interest - i agree though, the toolset wiki is frustrating and the toolset forum is basically dead so if you have a question, good luck getting an answer *thumbs in eyes*
Thanks
no prob! DA needs more modders big time, especially those that like Zev

Name your module (so if you make any changes by accident they don't edit the single player game, best to make a module even if not actually modding, imo)
Give it a Name and use that same name in the UID field
Scroll down to Extended Module, select Single Player
Hit Ok, then Open
Now back to File -> manage modules
Select your module, select Hierarchy
Select Single Player, nothing else should be checked
Hit ok/close
Now on the right side, select the chat bubble "Conversations"
In the field below it type zev
Hit the down-arrow next to the text field and select Hide Folders
You should see zevran_main now
Double-click it to open, no changes can be made unless you check it out, so don't worry

Cullen: I just want you to know... I love you.
PC: I love you, too.
Cullen: No, no... I REALLY love you!
PC: Er... and I love you, too.
Cullen: You don't understand! I think about you all the time, every waking moment! I look at you and I... I want to touch your skin! I want to brush your hair!
PC: I don't...
Cullen: Ever since I saw you in the mage tower I wanted to protect you. Keep you somewhere safe. FOREVER.
PC: ...
PC: ...awkward.
I think this might be prologue fodder. Sort of like the straw that broke the camel's back regarding my mage and having a relationship with any more humans.
Oh, and hey, Charsen, I fixed this for you. You typo'ed.slap zevran, because he'd like it
I was really disappointed my male mage didn't get the "I've seen the way you look at me." line to use on Cullen in the origin. Just to mess with him.

Heh, I just got the toolset running on my machine. Wow, I think it will be a long time before I'm putting mods out. In fact, it may be awhile before I figure out how to view conversations! But! I will do this.
I can just imagine all the Zevran squee mods your mind could come up with now :3

Because hitting on templars to set them off was one of my mage's hobbies (hey, you're locked up in there, find your amusements where you can, right?). Cullen would be easy prey.

Lol, I didn't see this early Sresla. You're right, he would like it. Now that would be a great mod...

They wouldn't even have had to modify Cullen's response, would they? Run awayyy! And what a delicious nuance to when you see him in the Broken Circle.

np! it's good if you guys can see the vo comments directly since i admit that i don't think about the nuances of them sometimes so i don't copy over everything... i am sort of dumb when it comes to subtlety
oh and when you examine a line, the Vocomments are in the Localizations tab

Ooooh, thank you so much. I found a more kludgy way to view them, one line at a time. But this is MUCH better. Wow, this is good stuff, though. Facinating, really. And a lot of fun.
Edit: Ok, this is interesting. more about the "jealous" conversation:
Zevran: You and I have had our fun, but if thing between you and Alistair is leading soewhere, I'll happily step aside. Complication avoided. Everyone's the happier, yes? (makes like it's no big thing)
Warden: It would be that easy, would it?
Zevran: Oh, I don't know that "easy" is the right word. Perhaps "necessary" would be better. (trying to maintain his uncaring facade, not doing a very good job)
This one I like though
Warden: If that is what you want.
Zevran: What I want? If only it were so simple (glum)
I'm sure there's an easy way to copy and paste this stuff, but I'm transcribing right now!

Ah yes there are a few ways that you can view them line by line and they are no fun at all. this way you have the relationship tree and can also view script comments (how much + - approval or when romance is off/on)
and YES it's much more fun than the game, imo, that's why i only have my second character out of the origin story... the modding bug gets you and you become absorbed..

But you know that spot at the start, where he's trying to pin down the future?
Zevran: One simply assumes that once your grey warden business is finished you will have no need of an assassin to follow you about. Am I wrong? (reasonable)
Warden: I could always use a friend
Zevran: Oh, not more than friends? (pointed -- he's asking if they are lovers)
Warden: I'd like that
Zevran: So would I, I should think (hopeful)
Zevran: It is good to know what my options might be. But that is for another time. For now, we have much to do, yes? (cheerful)

nothing new- i am fixing a bug with the zevring dt compatible mod concerning voice files and accidentally found some that, if spliced a little, would be a great zevran oh-face noise
Edit: Ejoslin there is no really good way to copy/paste a whole branch or anything like that, so what i do is open the localization tab, ctrl-a to select the whole quote, ctrl-c then ctrl-v it in notepad and scoop up everything that way, then dump the notepad to the forum post
i haven't found another way to do it but tbh i have not really checked into it either
