there are all these layers of intrigue everyone is talking about with rinna and such... and i try to understand, but fail, so i go back to playing with the toolset and making bawdy comments about kneepads
ahh, thanks Ramante!
What's the (Romantic) Appeal of Zevran?

They're good for when you need knee protection. Like, you know, if you're on your knees a lot. While . . . gardening.

Zevran: ...intrigued by tight leather clothing? (he's having fun with the player, this is a euphamism for "bisexual")
Warden: Amongst other things.
Zevran: I grew up amongst Antivan ****s, men and women both. My introduction to the subject of sex was, shall we say, rather practical. (practical)
Zevran: My only rule regarding sex is that it be done well. Chuckles It's a certain open-mindedness that the Crows seek in their recruits, for very good reasons. (amused)
Warden: Define "open-mindedness."
Zevran: I have been with both men and women in my time. Many, in fact. Often for business but not always. (has to think about it first)
Zevran: Given my druthers I would say I prefer a soft and shapely woman, but I know what I am. I will not discount anyone solely because of what someone else tells us is right or wrong. (this is simply who he is)
Zevran: I cannot change my past, obviously. You are a most intriguing man, but if what I represent makes you uncomfortable... well, it would be better for both of us to know that now, yes? (he's simply trying to be honest)
Warden: It doesn't bother me, Zevran.
Zevran: No, I didn't expect it would. You've a bit of an open mind yourself, no? (pleased)
Zevran: Ahhh, enough talk of the past. As my tutor used to say, "keep your eyes to the rear in the ambush and the bedchamber and not otherwise." Words to live by. (amused)

Ha! That's good. Reminds me of his "let us proceed then... with you in front, of course." Sereda got that line yesterday. And I've decided for my roleplay purposes that he was staring at her bum.ejoslin wrote...

Wow, I'm already so used to him in the Shadow armor that I'm so over that Chasind robe. Trouble is, some of my rogues are going to want to steal the black for themselves. I had my little red-haired Dalish girl wearing it last night and she looked, if I may say so, pretty hot.
BTW I take it that his "tutor" meant his Crow tutor?? Or the ****house tutor?? Sad to think of the kind of instruction he grew up with.
