What's the (Romantic) Appeal of Zevran?

MorGothic, yes I do get the error that MSSQL couldn't be installed. I tried twice, and both times I got the shiny red X next to the SQL installation window.
I have no excuse because it's afternoon here, but are you saying that you turn the romance on and get -9 approval?

As a side-note.... I named my mabari Fluffykins.

Sure you didn't, Ramante. That poor elder-tree was in a state! He couldn't even rhyme properly anymore, just kept whimpering about a mage girl in sexy clothes. What on earth did you do to him, hmmm?

I did. The first conversation. Called him a murderer, told him I disagreed about some people needing to be assassinated, and asked him what he fancied.

What? That Hermit asked me to burn him down, but Selket (mabari) gave me a very sad look... so that woodpiece should be happy to be breathing. (Selket did find the mage staff 'woodpiece' in the forest, might be his?!)Sabriana wrote...

The elder-tree is btw one of my favourite 'people' you meet.
@MorGothic, Thank you. :'
Nice VO comment by that chant, love it. xD

Wowww, thanks for posting that, ejoslin o_o You're right, I think most of us would never see that... eep! Hmm, I wonder if I can back up to an older save and try that out on my mage, he had Alistair and Morrigan in negative numbers by Lothering.
(Although, really, it's hard to keep his approval with Zevran low, since he's a flirt. Same for Morrigan, eventually. XD Too bad he can't flirt with Alistair.
Augh... planning to pick up Awakenings today, with the very sad knowledge that I'll hardly have any time to play until Thursday.

Honestly, my PCs are never rude, not even to Leliana. Distant and polite, perhaps, but never rude and/or mean.
Fluffykins? rofl.
<---- By the way, meet Lynare, my soon to be AW/BM. That facial expression suits her perfectly. She's po'd (Chantry, Templars), snarky, sassy, sarcastic, cold, and assertive. I wonder if Zevran manages to softer her up a bit? What are the odds? Hmmm...
Edited for "Wynne" bits
She met Wynne at Ostagar, and the most polite thing I could say is that their continued team-work does not look very promising. At all.

Yeah, Ramante. I never used it before, because it looks kind of weird in the CharCreator. But then I kept seeing it on avatars, and seeing yours convinced me to try it. It doesn't look bad at all in game.
Hi Jenovan. Sometime I wonder about Alistair though. He seems to be glitching for the MalePCs every now and then. Besides, you never know what goes on in those all-boy locked-in cloisters ;p

I had to start from scratch though, because when I tried to simply change her from HN to HMage, she reverted to default. Thank goodness I had all the settings to build her again.
Is that normal, by the way? Shouldn't the face stay the same, even when another human origin is clicked? It doesn't change if I adjust hair, eyecolor, etc.

I think I'm going for AW... still haven't decided. xDSurrealSadi wrote...
Lovely mage, Sabriana! Saetan's already a Blood Mage, but I'm unsure what his next spec will be.
I don't know which quest to do next with my BM (lvl 9). I've done the Dalish, I want to do Orzammar, but that's a little hard I think. Still I want to take Oghren and Zevran to the Fade and the Guardian because they are the only ones who haven't been there... So I have to do Orzammar first and I want to do the Fade once I have more BM spells, just that first one is not enough to ****** off Wynne (my opinion). xD

Ramante, you don't have to do the Deep Roads, you can stop after getting Oghren and travel around with him before returning to Orzammar. At least I could in my game. I swear, I'll always tack that on from now on. The game seems to have different glitches for each user, or so it seems.

AW should be fun. Using that plus Blood Magic should make casting stuff a lot more funRamante wrote...

As another side-note, I just got Alistair begging Amalia into his tent. He's cute when he's bashful.

Anyone have Awakenings yet? Steam doesn't unlock until noon but if you've got it, PM me what happens to Zevran. The anticipation quite literally is probably causing me to have ulcers and I'm afraid to go look in the Awakenings forum because I don't honestly want the rest of the game spoiled (although a few of you on my friends list TRICKED me into reading the "Does XXX die?" thread so now I know about that too...)

Storm of the Century? Is my brain leaking? I don't even remember seeing that spell. But then again, my mage is ages in the past.
Owh, thanks for the tip. :'D
@Sresla, the Alistair romance gets 'integrated' beautifully into Awakening (for as far as I read, I don't have it yet), that makes me hopeful about the Zevran romance even though Zevran won't be there... x3

*snicker* Yes, Alistair is a little questionable at times. XD And, as mentioned before, if, during the "gossip" conversation, the male PC asks him if he's jealous of whatever romance he's in, Alistair's response is preeetty funny. XDSabriana wrote...

(Story-wise, I'm sure Mr. Amell would flirt with him anyway, especially after finding out he was a templar. You know, just to make him sweat a little.

I had a look on google and it appears there could be 2 possible causes for this:
Create a sysytem restore point before doing either of these (Start>All Porgrams> Accessories>System Restore)
I am assuming your on XP and not Vista
.
1.You .NET Framework isn't up to date {LINK}
Now try to install the toolset.
If not...
2. An Issue with MSXL 6.0....
Read the thing below first: Standalone {LINK}
I had the same issues installing MSXML6.0 with my SQL
Server 2005 Express Edition as part of CRM Dynamics 3.0. Despite there
being no policy (local or global) in place to enforce such a thing, I
kept getting a failed installation of SQL Express due to an issue with
MSXML6.0. Whenever I tried to install MSXML6.0 stand-alone, all I would
receive is this blasted error message:
"The system administrator has set policies to prevent
this installation"
I used the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility (available here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301) to remove the install configuration for MSXML6.0.
After that being done, everything works fine now and no words can express my relief...
Please back your system as I hate for me to be the cause of problems with your system, hopefully the above stuff will help.
As for the Fem Warden Convo I cant find it at all...
*Edit* Storm of the Century is Spell Might+ Tempest + Blizzard (be careful it's AoE is huge...)
And you can get Oghren without doing the Deep Road to just can't talk to him.
*Edit* Because Copy and Pasting messes up the formating
