ooh sresla I like that idea. So far I've seen 3 chars from the O game. we all know one of them is Oghran who frankly is not one of my favs (there are only so many burp/fart jokes I want to hear in a night) (so that isn't a spoiler). The other two were cameos...I actually could have done without either of them since it was more like "too little too late". the humor seems a bit forced this time. Though I have to admit I do like Anders and the other male companion you get early on (and was surprised about liking that one)....

Some things seem a bit whacked to me--the economy. The easy inlock of specializations. but it's early on, I've played maybe 4 hours....so I'm still reserving judgment

Your package has yet to be sent so as far as I know they cannot refuse your right to cancel your order.

Oh the reason for getting their name is incase they hang up (yes I have had this).

I have his name and a full transcript of the chat.  I was bumped to senior support.  According to him, no one senior was there, or at least no one who spoke any English at all.  I realize that it was not this poor child's fault that EA is a mess, but it was profoundly irritating.  The conversation would honestly be pretty funny if I hadn't been so irritated.  It was probably made worse by the fact that I tend to get very formal and use big words when I am ticked off and trying not to go ballistic at someone.  I almost feel bad for the poor tech munchkin.

I didn't have very high expectations, really. But I didn't expect to be this disappointed. It's not only the lack of romance. It's not only that there's no acknowledgement of Zevran or explanation of why he's not there (I expected at least THAT much). I'm not sure what it is. I know what you mean. I posted elsewhere too, but without spoilers, I'll just say that... this is missing that DAO life that I love. My character isn't developing, isn't changing, and the people I'm with are cool but.. I dunno. I'm only 5-6 hours in, but so far the economy is whack, I feel like a lot of stuff isn't acknowledged from Origins (not just Zevran but... just about anything) and it's just kind of ho-hum. At 5-6 hours in DAO, you couldn't pull me out of my chair if my butt was on fire.

This does not inspire confidence....

Thankfully I only paid £15 for it....if it not great...I don't want Awakening to suck, I've already been kicked in the teeth with Supreme Commander 2 this year (god that game is awful...they destroyed EVERYTHING that made it good...don't even get me started on the models and texturing:sick:)

Well, the dialogue is there. The line fits perfectly, give me the option to kiss him before I get the game over screen and the DA:O/A will have been worth it.

I know the official reason why Zevran isnt in Awakening (by the looks of it) hes running around with my Party in Avernum 6! despite the fact elves dont exist in that series and he has a tan despite the game taking part in an underground nation but I dont care~ I have a duel weilding assassin named Zevran in my party and he looks just like our favorite elf to!

I've done the Goldanna quest and told Alsiter "Everyone is out for themselve's" and he said "I guess your right". Ive gone to speak to him in camp but he just say "what do you need?"

The third time I explained that Maryland was in the U.S. and he was still insisting that because I was in Europe the game wouldn't be released until the 19th, I had steam coming out my ears.  I'm pretty patient normally and I wasn't rude to the tech support guy.  I'm not certain where he thought the magic country of Maryland was in Europe.  Not that I would mind being in Europe, but I am absolutely positive that I am not there now.  I can also tell the difference between a 7 and a 2 on my charge card bill....

also in my dorkiness I ended up Adding Alexander to my party in Avernum 6 ... I love how easy it is to replace the godawful portraits with much better(and sexier) ones

Knowing my luck, he would have changed my address and I would never have gotten it.  Given all that is being posted in the forums, I'm not too upset about not getting it today.  I'm grumpy that they have my money and I don't have it, but that is a bad thought that I am going to chase away with thoughts of Zev thighs.

Perhaps tonight is a good night to finish off my prickly FCE.
