(And a cutscene of my warden and Zevran arriving in Antiva).
Heh, maybe it's because she's dark-haired and dark-eyed, but I can't place my elf mage and Zevran in Ferelden for very long. I keep seeing her in burgundy wraps with gold bangles and a gold nose ring, watching out for assassins while they're in the open market, or waking up in the berth of a ship somewhere warm.
I refuse to write any fanfiction about it, however.

My second warden took him down to the little lake next to the Dalish camp to give him the Dalish gloves.
Aw, that is sweet.
So it looks like I avoided the camp. Howvever, I did like having a place where there was no fighting and I could talk to all my companions.
I think the crux for me is that I like choices. You could choose to avoid camp if all you wanted was fighting and quests, or you could milk the NPC conversation for all it was worth (and then some, as this thread attests).
*sigh* I'm already talking about it in past tense.
I don't really play RPGs. The last one that grabbed me was Planescape:Torment and that was a good few years ago. There is something special about this game. I'll be really disappointed if that isn't followed through in Awakenings or later games.
Agreed. The word that comes to mind is literate. Our discussions here about Zevran reminded me less of girls screaming at Elvis (ok, there's some of that

) and more of my literature classes where we discussed every angle of every phrase.
