ES, yes, you get to respond, and choose from a tree.
Morgothic, I actually am not sure why clicking on an object is supposedly better than clicking on a character. I get that it's different, but not sure why it's actually better. Especially in the keep.
Gilded Age, I think if DA:O hadn't been so terrific, I'd like awakenings a lot more. It's just hard to adjust from having characters you actually interact with and get to know to these very shallow relationships. I can get THAT from a lot of games. DA:O just has something that makes it special, and it's sad to me that the devs think it's broken rather than just needing tweaking.
*grin* I do like to repeat myself!
Well that's encouraging at least. Mr. Gaider did say not to confuse the system with the dialogue content, so I think he's saying that if he keeps the system from Awakenings, that it won't mean the dialogue will be like in Awakenings... And it sounded like he isn't satisfied with the new system yet ether... I could of sworn he said something that indicated he's still working on it... and he still is open to more input and possibilities, so I guess we shouldn't worry too much, at least not yet. He comes off as a serious perfectionist. *trying to be the optomist*
Maybe the shallow feeling of the characters had a lot to do with Awakenings being this weird little... 'module', as someone elsewhere put it. I'm not buying it unless I can buy it cheep, though I would like to EVENTUALY. To tight on money to be shelling out $40 for an expansion of Origins that doesn't really expand Origins.

Even if it might be a decent little game on the side. I need more for that kind of money.
