You're right. I've been so busy arguing on these boards and chatting on IM I didn't even get through the dead trenches. Gah, and it's the last quest before the landsmeet is called. My priorities are TOTALLY wrong. Had I just pushed through, I'd be all happy and squee and stuff!

For the record, I'm not so sure it's a plot hole, and I think there's some sadomasochistic tendancies in Zevran fandom. LOL  The thing which must not be named is too vague, really.  Much like 'They traveled together for a time'.  Which Awakening's epilogue and the cut letter from Zevran do confirm is not implying a brake-up unless we want it to.

I'm... glad I looked at that epilogue card before actually getting it. I think I would've thrown things. Now I know its coming and I can just take it as I'm taking most of Awakening.



That's... yeah. On the topic of potential DLC/lesser expansion based on said epilogue card, I don't think EA's policies would allow for such a thing. A lot of people really dislike Zevran, and I sincerely doubt they'd throw any money at it, as effin' awesome as zany Crow-related adventures would be. I'm such a sucker for those sorts of stories.

expanding zevran dialogue and having some after-the-ring conversations, potentially a quest and/or something to do with a ceremony if the pc wants that.. also thinking about making a tie-in for awakening. i've added about ~100 new lines of dialogue so far, with real zev voices (spliced and diced by moi)

plus i will incorporate the tangible rings and try to make them carry over to awakening, and i've already fixed the one rare bug from the zevring mod too

edit: oh yeah, and this will lead to more sexing

Anyway, my game is bugged when I finaly got the ring offer and declinded it properly the second time I accepted it and it ain't showing u at all in the inventory >_<

hah well, thanks CZ. hopefully it turns out well. i've been rolling the idea around in my head for a while, and i think i have a plan for pulling it off. it'll have to be done in stages, and the sex cutscene will be one of the last pieces since i'm waiting for the custom bodies mod. but i will probably release it incrementally. dialogue + rings, then quest, then quest cutscenes (with pc happyface) then sex cutscenes

Could end up in Antiva with Zev if it were part of a bigger plot and not JUST about Zev. *shrugs* I prefer to see some hope. I mean, they might hate Zev but they still play Origins. What if they were given the incentive to let Zev live in Origins to then have an epic battle in a new game? Besides, the people who hate Zev and can't be swayed are mostly just trolls and some homophobic gamers. A lot of the people who disliked him because he's an assassin just 'didn't get' the character at first. I think he's the sort of character who people miss out on at first until they hear some spoilers and decide they want to see what the story is.

Apparently I'm an optimist now. lol

*edit*  To clarify, they could do a storry that involves Antiva and Crows and only have Zevran's involvement as optional.  I think even people who don't like Zev would find visiting Antiva and dealing with Crows interesting.  In fact, Zev haters might see it as 'Ha ha, now we get to kill the assassins friends', because most Zev haters are stupid like that.

on a side note I got the Zevran line at the end of return to ripoffstigar... why did he have to pipe up after Sten(whos line isnt half bad) oh well since baren is a bastard I left the corpse up and gained the WTFish approval with him (and I even lost approval with morrigan for doing that)
