yeah, for the era in which sonnets were commonplace, anything involving openly talking about love or sex tend to be profane.

Just updated Zevring to version 1.2, fixes some very uncommon bugs and also introduces actual, wearable rings with bonuses. Right now you have to pick which ring you want to install, which makes switching characters a PITA. I will be making this easier in the new Zevmod that I'm working on, but for now, I decided to just put this up there in case anyone was interested.

I think I've let my school years shape me too much in my past, so the part about escaping school with sanity and dignity in tact took a while to realize.  I wasted years thinking negatively.  I LIKE myself now, though...

I just meant that.. no matter what happens in highschool, do not let it derail your plans for the future. highschool is nothing like college or the rest of your life. but you know what? if you or i didn't waste time being negative earlier, we wouldn't be who we are today.

and to be completely off topic for no apparent reason heres my chaoic evil mage I ran through Mask of the betrayer with~ if people think Loghain is an evil bastard well Loghain has nothing on what this guy ended up doing during the game infact none of the evil choices in Dragon age come close to what the hell this guy ended up doing

thanks CZ =) hey, have you noticed whether zevran makes eye contact with your dwarf all the time? i noticed that in some places, he seems to drift, like when he talks about the ring... i'm not sure where it was. i didn't notice it before, but i think i can fix it. let me know if you notice any particular conversations where he's staring over your sturdy dwarf's head.

im not even close to getting the earring with him (still in the mage tower which is my first quest) but Ill comment on it

however I dont think i need to remind you what happens when male dwarves try to snog him unless he kneels down

sigh... high school. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. I was lucky in that there were a lot of geeky kids just like me there so even though I was out of the group I had a group... and we were the intellectuals who didn't care about all the crap of high school cause we were beyond it... it was still horrid, but it was bearably horrid.



Profane perhaps in opposition to sacred (as in "the Sacred and the Profane," Mircea Eliade. which I'm not sure anyone reads anymore... great sonnet tho.

I had the same bugged quest that you did, whoever it was, Morgoth I think, doing both smuggler and the other. but it didn't matter anyway, since the expansion didn't mean anything



I finished it tonight and I give it maybe a B-. I had fun playing it. I thought the loot was whacked, the approvals whacked. The runecrafting COULD be a good thing BUT to introduce it in a short expansion meant that I ended up feeling like I had to waste time getting runes made. I ended up not making a single one of Wade's new armor or weapons cause I was missing either the rune or some other thing I didnt' want to travel around for. Not too bad since I was pretty much spoiler-free this time. and the loot I did get made it pretty trivially easy to complete. The quests were sort of interesting. I just wish the Architect was more drawn out (It helped that I had read the books) and that we had more time with the characters. In a way it was both too much and not enough...



I loved Nathaniel and Anders and Sigrun. I will definitely play it again, though I don't think I'm compelled to put every character through it.



Reading the Zev epilogue card...again, and at the end of the game, I have to admit it didn't bother me so much in the context of the game. It seemed pretty obvious there that they just wanted to tie in the Character to her love interest, but wanted just One card fits all, so if you ended up with Zevran "somehow" during the last game, you got that card. I WAS surprised, however, that I LEFT the Gray Wardens...



At any rate, I'm looking forward, now, to downloading Zevring and starting a Dwarf Commoner with LONG HAIR (my other started one has hair that is too short I think...)

Awakenings.... I'm trying to figure out why the official xpac utterly contradicts everything in my Origins game including the epilogue slide they gave me.  One silly naked elf-mage playthrough.  It was just too amusing to clothe her.  I don't care enough about my Orlesian to continue.  I doubt I'll bring any characters who romanced Zev in.  I missed him horribly with a character who was just his friend.    I really like Sigrun, though. 

@Charsen: Let's see, you don't like chocolate.... <offers baklava>  You are like a drug dealer, except you are peddling Zevran squee and are paid in emoticon hearts and naughty Zev pics.  :wub::wub::wub::wub: (down-payment)

Firstly, Happy Birthday:wizard:

The high end loot seems overpowered to me e.g. The Velvet Blade or whatever it was called is the sort of weapon that I pay double what it costs if I was playing a rogue...I just hope they give foe's that warrent that weapon...

Finished my DN - I'd like to empsize that I used NO exploits (or the console) to get money earned on this character, I simply sold EVERYTHING I found to Gorim and did every single quest (I still have after spending that money 680g 50s 6c).
