Zevran: At least we can be sure you looked stunning for the occasion.

Edit: For the guys, here's the VO comment that got booted off:

Warden: The wedding never actually took place.
Zevran: No? Did she find out you... (the end of this sentence is, "are gay."  Which would certainly seem like a good reason to end an engagement.)

And next I am making a city elf for just that thing. Ejoslin, you do know how to get a girl rolling! And since I just finished Awakenings I am gonna have to try this.

Just keep in mind, the "No, you left him at the alter" comment is NOT in the game.  If Alistair's in the party, you get his line instead, and if he's not, you get a blank screen instead. 

But yeh, it's awesome anyway.  Zevran is really upset there, the look on his face and his voice, it's like he just died inside -- I felt so guilty!

Edit: Also, the last three choices, there's a problem with the dialog selection -- it's a shame that exchange is so bugged, but it's powerful anyway.

Is it just as bugged with Dialogue Tweaks, or would that make it worse?  And I think Ill go into my DA redesigned folder and see what other Zev redesigns were in there.

And considering City Elves, those of you that made them, do you usually make a family resemblance with the relatives (Shianni Soris) or just go your own way? I spend way to long designing new chars .....

Dialog tweaks doesn't address it at all.  So it doesn't hurt or help.  Hmmmm, I wonder if it would be easy to fix.  I haven't tried modding at all, but I may look into it.  I would love to see that whole thing done properly.  But don't hold your breath waiting for me on this; I have no idea what's involved.

Not at all, really. XD   Although there's apparently some serious redhead genes on whatever side of the family they come from...  I'd guess they're Cyrion's side, which makes you wonder what his hair color was before it was gray...

so i just made a group, Zevran Plus - i uploaded a conversation edit of Shianni's dialogue. Should be dialogue tweaks compatible. i didn't see your post about trying to look into modding it before i finished... or i would have let you do it! 


i can't test it. i don't have a save anywhere near shianni in this situation. i also fixed morrigan, leliana and alistair while i was there. 

edit: oh also, it takes romance precedence this way: alistair, leliana, zevran, morrigan. if you are in a romance with alistair and zevran,alistair's comment shows only. if you are in a romance with zevran and morrigan, zevran's shows up only.

Yep Ramante, lived in Egypt (Ma'adi Cairo) for a few months over winter two years in a row.

It was really amazingly fun. Went to alexandria's underground flooded tombs, did the tourist thing in luxor of course - camped in the sinai colored canyon near the burning bush, smoked ..cigarettes with the local bedouins after my jeep broke down near Sharm el Sheikh, waiting for a tow truck. We talked tribe stuff - Muscogee to Bedouin via broken english & my really bad egyptian arabic.. lol. Rode an arabian stallion in the desert for a day.... took refuge in an ancient coptic monastery during a vicious sandstorm and had a nice cozy lunch (rice soup) with the monks.

Randomly ran across a Roman era port covered in smashed pottery from an old trade dock (back when the area flooded from the nile, but now it was reclaimed by the sands)... Camped in el Faiyum oasis, surrounded by hyenas which is, btw, very unsettling, not to mention it rained in the Sahara the next day out...

Learned to bargain in the khan el khalili market eventually, after much practice. Was there for the bombing, too, though not close, several alleys away... was there for the eid sacrifices, which is disturbing if you have never seen such sacrifices in the streets..

It was insanely amazing. every day it was something new. and then i'd come back to the apartment and watch polish music tv or arabic soap operas... only channels i had aside from the religious ones!

If you have a chance to go, don't pass it up. it's quiet inexpensive. i think i spent more on the plane tickets than anything. I even stayed in the king's former palace (now a hotel in luxor) for like $60 a night for a suite. ridiculous. oh yeah, and if you go... just tell your cabbie where you want to go, close your eyes and tuck your head between your knees. don't look around. i promise it's for the best... you really don't want to know how you're getting from point A to B!

Soooooo jealous!  I spent a year in high school in Japan, six months in Australia and New Zealand, and I've backpacked around south and central America, but no Europe, Africa or Middle East for me yet. My husband is willing to be dragged about Europe, but not the rest.   

And your character is looking very intimidating!

just noticed, ejoslin - i will have to redo the dialogue. it renamed the VO components unnecessarily, so they will not have a VO or facial animations. gimme a few - i'll work on it and repost shortly.

There's a few problems that I see, while you're in there.  Only one response goes to Zevran, not all three, and also, the next selection, which should end with "I did, then I conscripted into the grey wardens" still only appears if the female elf tells him, "He died."  The other two answers dont' have that, but they should.

Second edit: *sigh* Zevran makes me fall in love with him even more.  My next play through is going to be a city elf again.  JUST for this!  Even though by the time I'm finished, ummmm, testing, I'll have seen it about 20 times.
