yeah that's an awkward conversation to have. when i explained it to my mother, she laughed for probably half an hour. my father has no sense of humor though, so it was lost on him. i think his words were something like: "well obviously that's not what they are talking about."

My son, though -- he could NOT believe his grandmother just said that to him! His reaction, omg. And then their reaction when I told them the other meaning. Now I'm probably going to get a call from the school tomorrow because I KNOW him well enough he's not going to let, "Sarah Palin is a teabagger," go. He's a funny kid, but it gets him into trouble sometimes.

My parents were both laughing so hard. My mom was trying to look disapproving at first but couldn't quite manage it.

sounds like my family... except my stepdad doesnt exactly like gay people much either(so he wouldent find it amusing) other than me because im  his son despite not being related to him

@ejoslin: you may get a long rant about Awakenings. As long as I don't think about Origins, it's fine, but as soon as I do I start picking the game to shreds.

re:Taleisen- I had the option (on my screwy Xbox, so it may have been a glitch), with a romanced but not tented Zevran to get the line about how he and Taleisen were friends and more when discussing the mission with Rinna before the Landsmeet. I have never had him leave me during the encounter. It was post-fade and gauntlet with him, though I have no idea if that had anything to do with it. I still had Orzammar to do. I'll try repeating it with a character on the PC version as soon as I get this friggin virus off the desktop. I have no idea how I managed to pick this thing up, but if anyone gets a nifty window from "Antivirus Vista", it IS NOT antiviruse software!!!!

Hijack viruses atack at random.  The people who create them hijack web pages and then when you go to the hijacked page it runs something that makes your computer download a trojan or something like that... I suck at tech, so I'm probably only making a little sense.

If you get that, first try restoring your system to a earlier restore point.  If the thing has already hijacked your computer thus disabling restore points, do a non-destructive restore.  You will have to reinstall software, updates, and games afterwards, and reset your settings, but all your files should still be in a backup partition and recoverable. 

Do NOT restore your settings and stuff from that partition thiough, as the hijack program is still in there.  Only restore selected files.

Woohoo! Tell me someone else noticed this. I just brought my auburn-haired CE DW warrior to Haven with the grouping of Alistair, Zevran, and Morrigan(respecced her for healing because I am sick of using Wynne). Loved the three way banter these guys have in the guard cutscenes and the bloody altar too. Alright, to my original point, I was buttering up Zev a bit more before I gave him his boots, so I had all people facing the screen towards me. Then I notice Zevran looking at my PC's back, moving his gave up and down with a very obvious "I want to tap that" look. Is it just me hallucinating or did anyone else notice this?

And I come bearing screenies also. Trying a different Zev mod(Duncan's hair etc), as well as a Sten too.

I admit it, I giggled<3


Have to share this, because I have never got the Orge Death Blow in the Fade, and neither a shot of the kill done so well!

I am dying here, my second run romancing him and he still manages to surprise me quite pleasantly. Now if only this new character would load into my profile:pinched:. Already Lvl 10 and I have no entry for her on my game page, yet I am logged in.

ok I imported Xander into Awakenings and its either a glitch or a nifty new retexture but Cailens helm looks different for some reason



take Cailens helm make the frontplate Silver with nifty gold runes on it and change the plume from purple to white/grey it actually looks better than the original so Im not complaining

Nice screenies!  Zevran doesn't look bad at alllll with that roguish ponytail. XD  (Nice killshot! )

As for the window-shopping glance, ROFL, I don't think I've ever noticed that, but then, my two Zev romances so far have been male... wonder if he does that to them, too. XD  That is awesome.

My 12 year old son walked in, and my mom asked him, "Have you heard of the group that Sarah Palin is supporting? The ultra conservative group? The Teabaggers?" and he stopped cold. Hey!  *Alistair fangirl kicks the thread*  He is a virgin, you know.  A young one, and he's had his eye on the PC for a long time.  So you can't exactly expect epic proportions on the first go. 

But I do agree that the demon-eyes for the PC in that scene are weird.  Other than that, though, I like the Alistair scene.  He's smiling in a lot of it, and the watching the PC sleep is sweet.

I know this is a lost cause in a Zevran crowd, however.

Their breed of liberal I think is -- the 1960s, elitist-type liberals.  Liberals themselves?  I think the definitions for the terms are changing.  While our country is getting more conservative, there are things that are now discussed that would have been unthinkable even 20 years ago.

And CZ, who DOESN'T?  Xander is such a porn star!

Back on topic and re. Taliesin: Does anyone else feel that somehow Taliesin is... wrong in that scene? I'm not sure if it's appearance or the voice acting. I think it's the latter. It just doesn't seem like how I would picture Taliesin at all.
