Am I the only person here who LIKED the cut letter from Zevran? not only did I call the reason bioware would use to explain why he wouldent be in the game when they announced romances wouldent be in the game but it makes sense no matter what ending you get because Zevran quite clearly states the crow will come after him at the end of the game and him leaving by himself can be interperated as either him trying to protect you or your responsibilities made it so you cant go with him (oh and remember there are several endings that state and the crows WILL need to be delt with

plus it was sweet in Zevran own way~

as for the epilogue card which i spoiled myself...its very vague and while some of the "what ifs" I cant see being done with any but my most power hungry characters but some I see no problem with (like the running off adventuring part)

oh and Ser pounce alot is adorable and Anders looks hot in those mage robes I showed off this weekend

question would any one mind if I post some nonspoilerific fanservice shots from awakening (read combat with generic mobs) because while Zevran may not be in the game Xander, Anders and Nathaniel are pretty damn shmexy

Of course, the thing that would turn me off PERMANENTLY would be for it to be completely out of character.  But add in a bit more romance, some adventure, some crow killing...  Yes, I would totally pay for it.

I support this idea - with my hard earned money I would pay... maybe even a bit more, but only if the quality was ensured - most importantly the writing, VA and in character everything.

Nathaniel is Shmexy but sadly the robes are mage only... unless I use the cheat console and turn him into a mage and take loads of shmexy Nathaniel screenies otherwise I will have to take a bucket load of thigh/crotch shots of him in leather armor

Definitely. Put me in the "I might even be willing to pay a bit more" category .. though I suspect it would suck unless it was written by David Gaider... given that Zevran seems out of character in some of the DLC (........RtO).

And even though Anders and Nathaniel aren't as awesome as Zev, at least they were nice to look at and made Awakening much more fun... though I must say, I greatly prefered Anders. His comments when you click on Ser Pounce a lot... lol. (It's no surprise that David Gaider wrote their characters as well.)

Bah, I just hope someone thinks, "Zevran romance DLC? $.$"  And puts out a good one!

Edit: And yes, Senorfuzzylips, that's the one problem, how Zevran seems ooc in the DLCs.  However, I think a Zevran romance would be a bit more careful (I'd hope).  The letter that should have put in the game sounded like him, so there's no reason why it couldn't be good!

Actually I was seriously hoping Anders would be romanceable (and he looks smoldering in those robes!). I love Zevran a ton, but he doesn't work for every one of my characters. Anders would have filled in the remaining holes nicely (yes, I know exactly what I just said). Ah well, I have no idea about anything about Awakening, so forgive me if I'm off-base and please don't go out of your way to correct me, but here's hoping some of the Awakening characters may continue forward and become romances... Nathaniel's pretty schmexy too.

Well, at least we can pretend the letter was in the game! Hopefully it stops all of your whining about the "for a time" phrase... Geesh, you people can romance Zevran and yet still be that crazy over semantics?! How can you stand yourselves? XD

I can imagine the proposal for the Zevran DLC now:
Marketing: "Sir, we have five people who say they're willing to pay $20 for a Zevran DLC. I think this is marketable!"
Boss: "You're fired."

I would pay more than is sensible for Zevran DLC. I'd want something good though. A proper story, suspense, drama, peril, and a continuation of the romance. I wouldn't want it to be a cosy happy story (except at the end). I want stresses and obstacles, passion and heartache, doubts and fears. In Antiva. And definitely true to character and the same voice actor. I'd happily pay full price for that (i.e. the price of Origins).  Or, um, whatever it cost, embarrassingly.

Hehe.. I imagine this type of project would be more of a "romance pack," with an Antivan adventure with Zev, uh, shoe shopping with the annoying redhead, and er, toy shopping or whatever with Al. I suppose you could also have a searching for Morrigan type adventure too. Sounds like too much to hope for, though.

The Awakenings guys are OK, but are any gay/bi (playing through with my male PC)? Anders talks about women, but I can't remember Nathaniel saying anything. Oghren seems to be straight (I did try, in Origins).

The Morrigan hunt is pretty creepy to me, actually. I mean, she tells you not to go looking for her very clearly, and I really think she means it. I can't imagine breaking up with a boyfriend (even one you care about a lot), and having him show up a couple years later telling you he's been searching for you the whole time. That's not romantic, that's stalkerish.
It makes sense wanting to know what became of the child, but the romantic ideals some people have about it kind of weird me out...

Edit: None of them are bi, that I know of. But then none of them are romanceable either... =(

Edit 2: So wait, is it possible to explain to me the whole Nathaniel/Thomas thing without spoilers? I don't understand why Nathaniel was never mentioned in Origins but then suddenly pops up out of nowhere... They're not the same person, right?

Sresla has been the only one I've seen to comment that Nate is bi, but I'm not sure where he got that idea.  (I would not object. )  Anders does seem to be hetero, from what I've seen so far...

They definitely aren't, I get the impression Nathaniel is the oldest of the children, but I'm not sure that's true... and he talks about "his brother" (Thomas, I would assume).  Nathaniel's been away from home for years, which may be why he was never mentioned in Origins.
