I think my mage PC would have conscripted him just to get him out of the Chantry's control, to try to keep him from going all bad after what happened in Broken Circle.  He had that sort of innocence in the mage origin, and then... yeek.

I just did that last night. Earlier in Haven he has a cut scene re: insular communities and chains, and then when you walk into the 'chantry' in haven he mentions that just once he'd like to walk into a place like this and have everyone involved in drinking games, dancing or an orgy.

HNF, first time ever I have gotten that scene, and that's with like 4 CEF, 1 CEM and 1 DEF.

That's the rub though, there was no other party chatter, just Eirik. I am wondering it it matters on his placement in the party, whether in the f2 slot or not.

That could be. I always have him in the f2 spot.

I had Zev in slot 4 that time. And both Alistair and Zev had a cut scene. I didn't fight/kill the store owner/villagers prior to going into the Chantry. I know every other time I've had to fight the villagers to get to the chantry, and the opening scene with Elrik was different this time, and I got cut scenes ! nothing like a #7 playthrough and finding new stuff!

Crap, he was in the F3 slot. It figures. I think I have a quick save before entering the Chantry so I'll try that in a bit to see if I get it, after putting him in F2 of course.

Edit @ Jaulen, lol ok this runthrough I did kill the shopkeeper first. Lets hope I have a save before that so I can experiment.

Do NOT get into ANY combat in the village or on the way to the Chantry to get that line. Any time I've caused a fight to the Chantry, I have NEVER gotten that line. The MOMENT I did it "cleanly", with no fights till the battle with Eirik, I got that line.

....I cracked the hell up... Seriously. That would almost be hilariously epic. Reminds me totally of early relationship with Angel and Buffy. He was total-stalker and she was all oblivious "cheerleader" type.

Hehe. Yeah, took me a couple times doing it without exploring houses, or the back of the "shop" to find out how to get Zev's comment about walking into a church and finding an orgy... Granted I think half my characters would join in with Zev if they ran into one.

@Soulsweeper - my mage in Awakening is a blood mage too. I added one of the new specialisations, and found I can sometimes leave my party behind wander into a group, stand still and kill them all. A thousand time this, I was playing a 2-Hander Warrior Berserker/Champion/(Nothing, it just wasn't needed...), I went in using Legion of the Dead armour (the Winter Forge stuff doesn't transfer (Warden Comanders Armour+ Cailan's Gloves remodeled) and I had given Alister Cailan's stuff and Keening Blade...and when I made him King he stole the lot...) and the Chasined Great Maul, I was sill using LotD armour in the final fight and only changed weapon to use something else. I went into Awakening's with 15 wounds taken, and still had 15 wounds taken at the end.

Apart from Orgin's character's being overpowered in Awakening I had fun, the storyline was good, the area's were awesome, I felt I didn't really know the companions to well (some I didn't get the approval on as while I have completed Awakening, I don't feel the play through was completed due to this and, unfinshed quest etc so I am going to reload an earlier save to do this) and I've staed my feeling on the Object Dialogue a few times now.

Btw I noticed people with rants about Awakening, I'd like to read them if you don't mind PMing them to me.

funny thing about my difficulty mod... it seems to work for awakenings as well as far as I can tell... ill turn around and whoops my tank died >_>

also earlie rtoday I got attacked by naked people...im not joking I was attacked by unarmed unclothed prisoners armed only with their "swords" oh and is it me or is archery disgustingly powerful? Nathaniels NORMAL attacks are doing more than Xanders!? granted Nathaniel cant spam skills all day long like Xander can (Xander has Stamina/Will power up the whazoo)

Archers are powerful no matter what. They're the ultimate Glass Cannon. GIve em enough Willpower to power everything they need, then pump the living shyte outta Dex, and they can kill things before your tank can get to it.

yes they did :E

I proceeded to have anders virulent walking bomb the lot of them to death (got a picture of that to rather pretty as well since my fade explosion skill Xander got fromt he spirit warrior spec went off at the same time)

To be fair to Cullen, I think one of my mages was stalking HIM. She did chase him down the corridor when he ran away. (I think she may have had Duncan with her as well).
