What's the (Romantic) Appeal of Zevran?

Alistair I rush on purpose. I want to get him done (oh my, that sounds stone-cold) before Zevran gets too high up. I usually romance Alistair, at least my fems have so far. It's metagaming, I know, but he will end up with Anora (my PCs are psychic, okay) and they want him to lose his virginity in a passionate and pleasant way. Charity a la femWarden, lol.
The one I never run out of conversations with are Leliana and Wynne. Both voluntarily. Leliana still has me wary, although I must say that after the reinstall she's behaved herself (knock on wood).
Wynne, I simply can't stand to listen to any longer. My PCs talk to her until the "You are quite taken... bla-bla-bla" conversation, and then again for the aplogy. Other than that, she can keep her wisdom to herself.

There's actually an additional dialog with Wynne that is pretty cool at the end, but I've only seen it once; my first play through. It should trigger every time as long as she's warm, according to the toolset, so maybe one of the mods I use somehow messes it up (who knows). But Wynne does end up respecting the warden, as she should! And admits she doesn't know if she could do what the warden does.
I'm such a toolset addict, though. I actually spent time reading the battle cries and the "select" party member responses. I was curious, actually, about the antivan taunts. And then, of course, had to make sure my ears were ok and that he really does say "Si Amora" (which he does).
No real point here. I have a sick kid at home, so I'm slave for a day!

Agreed on the toolset. I'm still learning, it's quite complicated for me still. Oh well, I figured all the others out, this one will not resist me much longer (I hope). Anyway, I assure you it's only a coincidence that I'm fiddling around the 'Zevran' files so much. Truly. I swear.
*looks around for lightening bolts to fly from the sky*
I have a few days off, and the weather is playing along, for a change. It's cold, far too cold still, but at least the sun is out. I have to get ready for Easter. Thank goodness I don't have to hide stuff any longer, it was an ordeal having my two kids fight about who saw what first, lol.

Ah well, back to my maleDalish. I wonder how he'll develop. I wonder how the Morrigan romance is. I wonder if I..., I mean he, can stay away from Zevran. No, but honestly, the witch has me intrigued. If I were aiming for Leliana, all bets would be off though.
*flinches nervously at the thought of Leliana's romance*

Battle Cries (Antivan)
Ma feca! (a swear, like "crap!" -- "mah FAY-sah!")
Nagale! ("idiot!" -- said "nah-GAH-lay")
Combat Near Death
Damn it anyways... (in agony, about to pass out)
This never goes like I plan! (grumbled, in a lot of pain)
Combat Heal Me
I'm not going to last much longer! (in a lot of pain, calling for help)
Can't see much past all the blood...
Getting dizzy... need help.
I haven't been this hurt in... well, ever!
Oh, the pain...
Explore Select Love:
chuckle (amused)
You rang? (amused, warm -- he's talking to someone he loves)
Si amora? (SEE ah-MORE-ah)
Here I am! (said with amusement)
Your desire? (amused, warm -- he's talking to someone he loves)
Your wish? (amused, warm -- he's talking to someone he loves)
I am yours. (amused, warm -- he's talking to someone he loves)
Shall we? (amused, warm -- he's talking to someone he loves)
Edit: I wonder what cases those extra spaces.

Welcome back, Sabriana! Your elf fellow is quite handsome. XD Good luck avoiding Zevran. Fortunately Morrigan's not too difficult to get to warm up, IMO at least. ;D She's... interesting.
@ejoslin: Antivan taunts? Share?
Edit: ninja'ed!
I haven't been this hurt in... well, ever!
LOL, poor guy.

I think I love his "Here I am!" even more than "Si amora", he truly sounds so amused that it makes me immediately amused as well

*Edit*
Welcome back Sabriana.
I personaly love 2-handed warrior's, immuntiy to stun and knockdown is fantasic, Pommel Strike is an auto hit stun, sweeping strike is a 360 degree knockdown, sunder arms/armour both swing twice (each hit can crit), 2 auto crit attacks, 50% chance to stun on a critical hit, passive 25% Armour peneraton etc.
If you feel it's to slow grab Haste on your mage ASAP.
In simple term's
1. Grab a 2 handed weapon
2. Max Strength (and some willpower)
3. ????
4. WIN!
Hope that makes some sense...I could write/find someting more detailed if your interested.

But it doesn't matter, because I don't think I'll ever be able to keep his approval low enough for long enough! Maybe one day.

Thanks for the well wishes, Jenovan. My elf (and I) appreciate them. Yeah, Morrigan does look very interesting, even the ending of the story. I wonder if my dalish will do the 'ritual'. I wonder how he'll develop. So far, he's nice enough, albeit a little impatient with the shems. He's also been arguing with Duncan and even the Keeper about looking for Tamlen.

Even though everyone moved on from here, I wanted to point out if you use DAO mod manager, you can configure the male models to be flaccid.
Thanks! This is great. Why didn't I realise I could do this? (Must read instructions). There are so many options, and I'm going to have fun changing the bodies. Mmm, hairy chests ....

What does he say in this case with Dialog Tweaks? I should try it out myself, but that's just not happenin. Too much self-restraint required.ejoslin wrote...
It for sure is not easy keeping it down! The one time I managed it, I still had half of the dialogs left, and he as at 69 care. BUT it was worth it -- I got both him leaving the Taliesen fight AND the no-sex variant of the political marriage dialog. Of course, now about half my characters don't go to the tent until after he's in love (thanks to Dialog Tweaks changing that up). Well, dwarves always go when he offers JUST for that kiss, but... Hmmm, I HAD a point here. I'm not sure what it was, though.

Keep in mind she uses recycled dialog. But it goes something like this.
Zevran: (chuckles) And who could resist such a request?
Zevran: And here I thought it might be a Grey Warden thing. Ah, very well. (has THAT kiss, which is a nice one)
play tent scene
Afterwards
Zevran: My grey warden, I am with you until the end. (ends with the default kiss)
Now, it's not fluid because, well, it's recycled dialog. But it works SO much better than the standard beginning and end if you're getting that AFTER you're engaged.
Edit: Yes, but I'm not saying WHERE. Had to do some research, you see, to make sure it was correct. Off to quadruple check now!

Ok, thanks. The DT kiss scenes work so well. Even the companion commentary is cute. I don't think I ever heard Alistair saying "I'll just go over here and... stare at stuff. Other stuff." or whatever it is he says.
I like the changes she made for sure (I fixed my post, I didn't have it quite right). Really, the only problem with the other one is the "afterwards" it's snipped dialog and at a slightly different volume. But it is SO much better, that's just nitpicking.
Edit: I think Wynne is hilarious there as well. It's definitely NOT the "young love" comment you get with Ali. And jealous Ali? Fabulous!

I remember hearing it somewhere else, but I can't think where. The Dalish camp, maybe? It's annoying me now that I can't remember.
If you don't use DT and go to the tent for the first time when in love, do you get the same dialogue as if you do it the day you meet? That wouldn't be right at all.

You do. And it's weird. I'm glad she fixed it.
Edit: I think they didn't expect too many people NOT to go to the tent before hand. But there are other differences if you haven't gone to the tent with him. He says different things when he refuses to go to the tent, for instance, and there are different responses. If he forces you to make a choice between him and someone else, there is different dialog there as well. And of course, if you're getting married and the two of you haven't been to the tent, the dialog is also different. I have no clue why they kept the before and after tent the same. It is so out of place.
Heh, you and he are engaged. He SHOULD know "what now!"

My Wardens are always DW-rogues (or mages), and I love the dirty fighting. DW seems to work better with a rogue (or is that just me?). After finishing the Vigil I removed the character, it was just terrible. Next time I'm going for another rogue, much more interesting.
So I downloaded that DAO-Modmanager... but what can I do with it actually? It works... I think. It has located my dazip files, but is it supposed to do anything with the stuff in the override folder or not? *clueless*
And I want a Zevran plushie. It looks adorable.
