but the patch lets you transfer *all* DLC over and even fixes the vigilance/starfang graphics bug

Edit: I think I did read your post, though.  Harrowmont is not always the clear choice for a dwarf noble.  I think I would find it harder to side with Harrowmont on a casteless just because of how traditional he is, but I could probably RP that as well.

The rogue talents are pretty good in DA:A, and we're finally getting some love in the loot drops as well. I really regret making my DNF a warrior, but I'm going to stick it out regardless.

Shortly after getting THE KISS and her first night with Zevran, she decided it was time to go back to Orzammar. No accident, that. I figure that her developing friendship with Zevran has helped her gain back some of her confidence and the ability to see a life for herself on the surface. I do picture them arguing more than my other characters do with Zevran, but in a good way and it's natural for an "inter-racial" pairing. He is helping her get beyond some of her encrusted dwarven conservatism. Starting with the idea, too ingrained for her to let it go completely, that she now has no soul and will go to nothing when she dies. I imagine Zevran asking her if she thinks that he has no soul, and are they really so different.

Gah, going back to Orzammar is still tough, though. Everyone calling her "the exile" and blaming the crisis on her. It is pissing her off enough, however, that this will also help her find her feet and her backbone again.

The dwarf-Zevran shots are kinda cute... maybe I start a dwarf playthrough on my laptop. First I need to install the mods again, which is not really working since I have no Winrar installed and for some reason I cannot find a good download for it. >_<

Oh they don't work...somehow I'm not suprised...

As I'm sure many of you are know doubt aware you can a +100% spirit damage ring in Awakening, now this is all well and good until I checked the +damage cap....which is +50%.

His appeal may also be that he falls so deeply in love that it becomes all that he is at the end.   But if you read some of the thread, you may get a good idea of all the different things so many of us find appealing about him!

I have a question about the US ending.

I remember someone mentioning that you get far better shots at Zevran during your funeral if you made Anora queen. Otherwise the camera focuses on Alistair more. Is that true? If I go for this ending I want to have it as heart-wrenching as possible.

My Dwarf Noble is in Orzammar right now and it's her last major quest line. I was planning for a different ending for her, but now I feel she's a suitable candidate for my first US. Her self-esteem is just so low at this point she'd think sacrificing herself would be her first right choice in entire life. Orzammar is not going to make her feel better, as she supports Harrowmont, knowing deep inside that Bhelen would make a better king. Zev is a bright thing in her life, but she won't be able to see how committed he truly is to her. It sounds like my saddest play-through so far

Depends.  I am the source of this, ummm, misleading information (sorry).  If Alistair is flagged "in love" or "still in love" it will focus on his grief.  If Alistair does not have either of those flags, it will focus on Zevran's grief (and ugh, so much pain).  

Edit: If you broke up with Alistair earlier in the game, the ways to tell if he's flagged "still in love" are: 

If you try to set up a wedding between Anora and Alistair, Eamon lists as one of the reasons the wedding would never take place is he sees the way Alistair looks at you.
Morrigan mentions while talking to you about the ritual that you're the woman Alistair loves.

But can you really do THIS to the poor man? FWIW, Alistiar is giving the eulogy in this game.

Dwarfs long arms so they don't have to hire Leliana to get them things from high shelves. A good enough reason if you ask me.
Ugh, that face... I'll probably reload and let Loghain take the final blow after all, but I have to see it for myself at least this once.

Awwwww! I still think FemDwarves are cute. MaleDwarves have the same arms, and no one rags on THEM Maybe because they're bulkier. Femdwarves are pretty nicely muscled, but nothing like their male counterparts.

And yeh, I'm getting strange looks here, laughing at my computer again!

About all the DW warrior hate- you have to play it differently from a DW rogue. Rogues are better for single target damage, so making an AoE Dual Longswords Warrior is a lot of fun. You basically play the tank and the damage dealer at the same time. Taunt, Dual Weapon Sweep, and Whirlwind, and all the adds go down instantly. I got my whirlwind achievement that way. My DW warrior was badass and she ended with nearly 50% of the party damage dealt. She was a blast!

I just made a femdwarf and I think she looks adorable, I might keep her after Ostagar. xD



The first thing I noticed about her where ofcourse the arms. I'll go for a genetic disorder with that aspect, one other thing that made me go 'wtf' is the skirt. Could it be any shorter. o.o'

Get her in some heavy armor, or at least studded armor (which doesn't have as noticeable a "skirt"). I really don't notice the arms in heavy armor. And anyway, Zevran loves them. The peanut gallery is just jealous.
