Those funeral pictures, btw, are from my first Sereda. So he obviously MISSES those arms!

Edit: Dead Sereda, Alistair saying something about how some of you loved her! Then close up of Zev's face. *cry*

Get her in some heavy armor, or at least studded armor (which doesn't have as noticeable a "skirt"). I really don't notice the arms in heavy armor. And anyway, Zevran loves them. The peanut gallery is just jealous. :P

Yeah, I'm going to dump that leather armor asap. I made her a DW-warrior (second attempt).
I agree with ejoslin, femDwarves look so cute. =3

Starting to get one problem... the name of new Wardens. I'm starting to run out of Egyptian names, named the dwarf Nechbet (patron of Upper-Egypt).

It's probably about the stupid MMO, which will just remind us of the likely reason Awakening was so rushed and sloppy.

About all the DW warrior hate- you have to play it differently from a DW rogue.

DW is the best for a warrior, but it's still boring as hell.  Rogue is the only way to go.  Awakening will hopefully show the numbniks who think rogues aren't tough fighters and just pick locks that they're full of crap.  They should have figured this out with Zevran, but if they can't see it after Zevran, Nathaniel and Sigrun, they're just not gonna.

Tutankhamen? Or Tuta for short? XD

And try my suggestion for a DW warrior, it's really fun! You don't even really need a separate tank, so you can free up some party space.

Edit: It's not boring, darnit!

@Jenovan - Love your avatar pic!

Oohhhh, countdown...to what???? Bioware, gimme some answers! I have no ability to wait 5.5 days to find out!
Someone spolerize me if you find out......

Still no Awakening game-play here. Figure I want to finish off my HNF and then start Awakenings on PS# with my CE to find out if I like the game b4 buying it for PC. No Zev love for my HNF. Poor silly Alistair, but I want the Queen ending at least once!

So what are some major changes if you keep Zev at Warm, especially with the Talsien encounter/ending convos?

I wish. (I'm Dutch)
Just totally obsessed with Egypt (I named my gerbils Anubis and Osiris, my fish Odion and Maat). If you check my account you'll notice that practically all my Wardens have Egyptian names (except my elven mage). And all my mabari's have an Egyptian name.
And my room is filled with statues and images from Egyptian things.

Only thing I need is going to Egypt. >_<

MMO?
DragonAge related?

I'm playing a DW warrior this time through (first she was S&S) but this will be the last warrior I play (I think, may do a DCM warrior). And *yawn* rogue is so much more fun. Plus she dies so much more easily than my rogues ever did. And what's with the warrior armor making Fems look like they have tiny little pin heads?

We will have to disagree!  I started out playing DW warriors, and with my DNF decided to go back to it to see if I could re-discover any charm.  It's sorely lacking any.  At all.  I'm going to make myself finish her character, but I really wish there was a re-spec class option.  I don't play with a tank, however.  My Awakening team was usually 2 rogues and 2 mages.  In Origins, I usually take along Alistair just because I like him (sometimes Sten or Oghren), but I don't consider it necessary to have a warrior along.  They just don't pull their weight.

@Ramante:  You could start on Coptic names!  They are usually Egyptian version of Greek names, however.  We have some Coptic friends, thus my question about Egypt.

That's the Awakening epilogue card!

Edit: I should upload all the Zevran epilogue cards.  But some make me cry :crying:

Nope, it's a Star Wars MMO by Bioware. Sounds kinda cool, but not as awesome as Dragon Age.

And my warrior never died more than my rogue, except when she had tons of enemies attacking. Seriously, the talents you want ASAP are Weapon Mastery, Dual Weapon Sweep, and Whirlwind. Bump your strength up ASAP to wear heavy or massive armor, then bump Dex up to ~45, then go back to bumping strength. Go Champion/Templar, and you'll pretty much massacre everything. :wizard: No lockpicking doesn't matter because it gives you an excuse to bring Zevran everywhere, and not being a rogue means you don't have to constantly worry about positioning.

Edit: I love rogue DW, too- my first character was one- but the two felt extremely different to me. They were both really enjoyable!

Awwwww! I still think FemDwarves are cute. MaleDwarves have the same arms, and no one rags on THEM :( Maybe because they're bulkier. Femdwarves are pretty nicely muscled, but nothing like their male counterparts.

And yeh, I'm getting strange looks here, laughing at my computer again!

Female dwarves are skinny toothpicks compared to their male counterparts and yes the lots of extra muscle mass *does* help off set the length of their arms

if I had to compare the male dwarves arms it would be to that of a gorilla's compared to the skinny orangutan arms the females have

My games end no other way.  Actually, I think he has to be romanced in Origins to get that card in Awakenings.

@Nonvita, Hmm, I'll have to take a look at my HN stats, I know she's over 40 for strength, but she's not that high yet for Dex. I think she's a level 16 or so? And not too much to go for stuff for additional leveling. I think she'll finish off around a level 19.....(my DE rogue finished at a level 24, almost 25) And I think I spec'd my warrior for bezerker and champion (have to double check though).

A Star Wars MMO? *meh*

If you have paralyze runes, momentum, and coup de grace, you don't have to worry about positioning either!  Though...  I do love having an excuse to switch to Zevran.  Then again, I really don't need an excuse!

Actually, tag teaming with rogues, especially if both have paralyze runes, means someone is always backstabbing.

Edit: My excuse for bringing Zevran everywhere is because he looks hot in leather...

@ejoslin - Yes to all the Epi cards! Or just quote from the toolset. :)

I'm not thinking I like that epi card there.....I just can't see 90% of my GWs doing that.

My husband will probably like it, but even though I like space sci-fi in novels/movies/TV, I have yet to find a game about it I can play.  Of course, my default stance with all video games when I first play them, including DA:O, is "this is stupid and I have better things to do!"  Occasionally I change my mind, you notice.  Image IPB

No lockpicking doesn't matter because it gives you an excuse to bring Zevran everywhere, and not being a rogue means you don't have to constantly worry about positioning.

This is how I see it:  I never worry about positioning with a rogue, but with warrior I don't even have the option to do things like go for a backstab.  Warriors just seem like gimped rogues to me.  Unnaturally gimped.  I really wish the classes were merged, or something.  You can build a rogue to be high str/dex and there's no difference between them and a DW warrior, except the rogue has much better talents and skills.

Really the only good thing about my DW warrior is that it is Zevran who does the trap warning.  And of course, I could listen to him say "watch out, trap there" all day.  Not to mention all the gooey goodness you hear when you click on him to open a lock, which I could do anyway, but usually don't on my rogue just for convenience.  "Si amora."  Image IPB

I can see it -- my warden joining him Antiva, having a huge fight with the crows and giving them the message once and for all to stay away, then going and adventuring elsewhere.  I can't see a single one taking over the Crows, however.  I can't see Zevran taking them over with a living warden, either.

My stupid warrior goes dancing around a target to position before striking, and by the time she dances around, and goes to hit, *boom* one of the others have killed who she was targeting.....silly girl is having to run off to go get the far away baddies to get any kills. Even then Zevran opr Alistair will swoop in and kill whomever she was going to go after and then run off to the next target.

I've been doing a lot of yelling at my laptop this game, cursing everyone stealing all my kills.

It's more annoying when Zevran kills it, saying either, "Too slow!" or "Ah, another point!"

Warriors are gimped rogues? I didnt know rogues could tank(as in draw aggro and hold it) or do amazing crowd control without a bow(which warriors get and LOL DWW Crowd control is not that great expecially compared to 2HW's helle very single new 2HW skill in awakening is a CC skill) oh and I didnt know Rogues could get 100% spell resist

oh and warrior Archers can do more damage than Rogue Archers since backstabs dont even work with bows and Warriors get bloodthirst/Berserk and the spirit warriors first skill to not only amp up their damage but their attack speed as well(well berserk doesnt amp up attack speed but it does amp up damage)

Same here.  I mentioned earlier that I kept seeing Sula with a gold nose ring (just a little one!) and bangles, in a burgundy wrap, walking through an open market somewhere warm.  Maybe Rivain.
