One of my favorite NWN characters was a dual kukri rogue/shadowdancer/assassin built primarily for maximum criticals.  One disappointment of DA is that it doesn't allow for more discussion of mechanics!

the amount of damage he delt to undead was insane and it was just funny roleplaying a lawful good ORC

Besides the terrible camera and the laaaaaaag, I just couldn't get into NWN2 once I found out that druids, rogues, and archery were all apparently terrible...

Ah good, so I'm NOT crazy.  A cunning build works REALLY well for me.  

Edit: I've not found a str build that works for me.  20 str WITH gear is the best way to go.  I usually am a bit too high.

Oh you most certainly are crazy, your just not wrong.

I just don't make all my rogues cunning-based dagger because... it gets boring. Sometimes you have to mix it up, not always have the same build. There's a theme here- I am easily bored, I guess! The combat stuff is definitely the least interesting part of a game for me.

I'm thinking Katsin's gonna make Alistair king(prolly married to Anora), spare Loghain, and make him kill the Archdemon. She's not using Morrigan in her party anyway.

And combat is my least favorite part as well. The worst is when you think an awesome scene is coming up soon, then you realize there's a lengthy battle you have to do beforehand. Things like abandoning Redcliffe have become much more appealing over time. XD

hmmm tattoos... my latest mask of the betrayer character has a tattoo on his arm... he also runs around shirtless and beats the tar out of people with his fists~ pretty fun (though the tattoo is rather small and doesnt cover up his face like my pure evil mage's did)

yep absolutely! I will be creating a project group as soon as i have a working beta. I don't have a city elf yet, so it'll be hard for me to test by myself.
I am just wrapping up some added dialogue for humor, and hopefully will need beta testers in a few days. Normally i'd be faster, but everything is busy this week with classes & work, sadly.

Slightly off topic: my male elf-mage got a Zev kiss I hadn't seen before last night. It may have been better than the kneeling dwarf kiss--or at least it was very close minus the kneeling. Seriously sqee worthy. I was too busy squeeing to get a decent screen shot, so I'll do that after the hormone monster (aka my teenage boy) goes to bed.

I'm just not having any warm fuzzy feelings that the LI's will return in any additional expacs or sequels, even IF you could import an Origins/Awakenings Warden. Depending on timelines, and from what I've been seeing of Awakenings, I'd be suprised if we got any real additional chances to play our current GWs. But of course, that opinion may change after actually playing Awakenings.

Just saw this.  Yeh, I get the same feeling that there won't really be any more loving from Zevran.  It's an incredibly gritty and beautiful story, and very unexpected in its depth.  I'm hoping, if it's ended, it's given the same respect as the initial love story was.  I would far prefer it not be ended mind you, but i would hate it more if a writer who didn't like Zevran decided instead to make him into the stereotype he was proven not to be, and given a really bad ending.

I do know whatever ending you choose in origins, you have him asking to stay with you, and accepting that the two of you will have to face the crows together (and he has every confidence that you'll win).  I am really nervous that they picked his ending if you do the ultimate sacrifice (taking over the Crows) to be a possible ending for him in awakenings.  

Edit: @sami jo, the elf has a couple of very hot kisses.  Which one are you talking about?

Got the massage offer and told Zev that they "weren't exactly alone". Zev giggled at his bashfulness. Got the lewd poem. Then finally invited him to the tent again. Zev grabbed his head and planted one on him. It's a more aggressive version of the kiss Zev gives him if they head to the tent with the massage conversation.



I also got the "love" glitch after the tent. If I pick the "what about love" line, he glitches into love. If I select anything else at all, he stays at adore.

Edit: And try to get him to 100 with gifts so you don't fall back out of it.  That glitch is so fantastic!

He was a very befuddled boy.  Now he is a very happy boy (but probably still befuddled.  Zev is a bit much for the sheltered mage to figure out).   

Edit:  I haven't given him a single gift yet.  He's above +80 already, and I haven't even finished a main quest, just the side things like Shale.

Well, if he starts acting all coy and you choose, "Well, if you don't WANT to," he ends the conversation telling you he didn't say that and calling you a tease.

@sami jo Don't go to the tent until you have him at 100 (love) and dont' give him a plot gift.  Giving him bars and getting him to 100 that way will keep it glitched.  Otherwise, it drops back to (adore).

If you order him to the tent he says something about torture.  If you tell him that wasn't exactly what you had in mind he will say something like, "too bad, you know where I sleep."  You actually get huge approval from the convo (+7 for me).  The timing was perfect to get the massage offer right after and be all bashful about the fact that there were so many people around but make it clear he was interested.
