You could easily do it without even leaving the area where you pick him up, probably... chose one of the flirty lines in one of the first few dialogues to turn on the romance (there's one in pretty much all of the initial dialogues with him, except for the "what's it take to be an assassin" or whatever one), then once he's interested, just pick the mean/ rude options. It's really easy to lose approval with him. lol.

Then sit back and be amazed at how awesome his breakup dialogue is. lol

VERY easy.  Worth it for the three minutes it takes.  Alistair it takes a bit more work to get him to hate you, but you only need to get to -26 hostile to get Zev's breakup.  It really is worth seeing.  It's not sexy like Alistair's hate speech.  Zevran... he is one I would NOT want mad at me!

(And no, I didn't expect it to be anything like Alistair's. The problem with Alistair is he only really gets a backbone when he's angry, and he's sexy when he's angry... He sets himself up for this abuse, I tell ya! Zevran's a whole different story...)

Vita, I agree. Ali only gets hot when he's actually showing he's a man and not a little boy playing. And that only happens at rare moments, like in the speech before the battle of Denerim and when you ****** him off.

Lol! Oh no, he certainly has standards. They're simply, for the most part, set a little lower than most. XD

Interesting that he'll sleep with you as soon as he hits ~ +26, but he'll refuse you at ~ -26. Quick to love but quick to turn away...

Oh very true! He really wouldn't be as wonderful of a character if he didn't have that harsh side to him. It makes his sweet/innocent/caring side that much more of a treasure. He's not all kittens and roses, but he's still able to overcome his terrible side and be a better person for it.

It's why I hate his US ending so much.

...So naturally, Zevran doesn't consider it fun anymore if he doesn't like you on account of you being a huge jerk. After all, I'm sure he had to sleep with plenty of people he hated in his old job.

And I agree about his loving side being something to treasure. It's not fluffy, but more rough and... <3<3<3<3

It's a complete shocker to me that sex starts to have meaning to him!

Mm yeah, it should be a "pleasant diversion"! It's just interesting that he's quick to act in either circumstance, whereas Alistair is slow for both. Alistair is slow to get to the tent because he obviously wants it to be special, but at the same time he's so desperate to be loved that he clings to the hope that things will get better until he absolutely can't anymore. Zevran just speaks his mind a whole lot faster and a whole lot clearer.

It's also nice to know that Zevran's cold side can still come out- I'd imagine it will be needed for the upcoming battles against the Crows and other potential pitfalls in the future. He's able to take charge and protect the Warden when needed, which is extremely attractive. But at the end of the day, his heart of gold still shines through. (It even says in the toolset that he has a heart of gold.)

also im actually not a big fan on sentinal armors looks...give me warden commander plate or Cailens armor any day (and I normally hate gold but it looks damn fine on Xander)

It is indeed shocking! But somehow so adorable at the same time...

It's probably because of his ability to find fun in whatever he's doing that's made it possible, though. He's still able to find small amounts of happiness in unexpected places... a very optimistic talent!

Though I imagine he's often being a bit deceitful, or at least obtuse in his descriptions of his time as a Crow. He says he had sex for fun, though he likely had to seduce his targets to get close enough to kill them (in some circumstances) as well.

Second edit: Though I suppose the comment about him removing clothing on purely an amateur basis you only get with the romance turned on, but you should get that before he hits "care" unless you're giving gifts instead of using conversation to give approval.

In which other dialogue does he admit it, though? I can't remember...

And of course there's that part when you ask him about his "adventures," when you can say, something like, "I mean your time as a Crow".... not a very nice answer there either, especially when looking in the toolset.

Oh yeah definitely. Although I find it strange that he gives more approval when you choose that option. Maybe the approval comes from the responses that option leads to, but it seems like he would have happily diverted the subject away from that topic.

And am I the only one who enjoys looking through the toolset comments and seeing that most of his responses just say "amused"? Even some I wouldn't think he was especially amused at... He really is almost never serious.

My guess is both. On the one hand, they're the stories easiest to tell without really getting into really bad territory. On the other hand he's so matter-of-fact about them, and the toolset often comments that he's not expecting sympathy.

It's also possible that for the most part he doesn't see his jobs as "adventures," so he did his best to come up with the only ones that would qualify. I mean, the story about the prince he barely even took part in, so it does sound like he was stretching for interesting stories.

He appreciates sympathy, though.  Maybe he's protecting the warden?

Edit: Probably he's not proud of what he's done in his life.  He's proud of surviving, and of his excellence but the individual jobs?  

But he does tell about a few jobs that were very successful, just doesn't go into details.  The women who told him the poem.  The man he got the earring from.

Second edit: Sometimes "amused" does not match the facial expression.  More often than not, in fact.  Which is interesting -- they're probably going for a different effect.

The colour is annoying but what kills it for me but the stupid particle effect. Also if you activate Beyond the Vial first the active Powerful Swing it get rid of he pinkness but not the particle effect (I have Personal Anoyance Remover installed just incase this affects it).

I'm not fan of most of the helms in the game (or any game) so armour sets that need one are off my characters wear list, the only helm I do like is the Thane/Barbarian hlems (the one Sigun wears).

And those 11 guards he killed!

I also get the impression that he's kind of protecting the Warden, in a way.  Things like how he brings up all of those horrible tortures in Crow training and says they didn't happen to him, or how he tries to brush off what happened to him in the Fade, or the "seven stages of lanthrax poisoning"... he seems loath to go into detail about these gruesome things, like he doesn't want the Warden to dwell on them.  I don't know, though, that's just my immediate response to those dialogues...
