There are various ways to feed them. They don't stay long if abused or made to feel stupid. They only stay if they upset people. No one likes being laughed at!

Edit: Dwarf kisses in particular seem to be effective, in truth.

If Zevran was already gone while we were in Wardens keep, does the Warden immediately leave after the main quest is done?

I know *sighs* My only real problem with Awakening was that there was no explanation of where Zev was. I spent the entire first playthrough wondering if we had a fight, if he'd stayed behind in Denerim, gone to Antiva, something. I figured it had something to do with the Crows, but it would've been nice to at least have some kind of explanation. The epilogue was a welcome relief, but it was really hard for me to RP my character without some idea of what was supposed to have happened with Zev. This letter would've provided some answers and made me a lot happier all in all.

honeslty why dont you people write 500 pages on why bioware doesnt fix any of thier sh*t...is a love interest that much more important to you than a quality game..just curious..it sure seems people care more about kissing virtual characters than a good game lol

Surreal, that is NEVER a concern here.  We skeer them off!  No one seems to appreciate a good dwarf kiss but a troll, for sure!

Indeed, considering how loyal he is to a Warden he's friends with, much less in love with...

It was immersion breaking.

The way they seem to be treating Zevran and Leliana's relationships with the Warden makes me wary of 1-playing Awakening and 2-future expansions.



Also, I'm making a new HNF. I plan to have her fall hard for Alistair, but be good friends with Zev. That should be... interesting.



My DCF just ended with (hardened and kinged)Ali a friend, but still in love with her, and engaged to Zev.

in a 40 dollar rip off expansion their has been more threads about people whining like babies about non returning love interests than the plethora of bugs...simple ones that any tester would have caught...wtffffffffff are videogames coming to these days?.... go play whatever those online dating games are if you want virtual banging

So, today while I was being a monkey pounding a keyboard trying to figure out how to get those kisses back in, I attached THE dwarf kiss to one of the dialog choices. It previewed fine, but unfortunately ended up in all sorts of weirdness when I exported it. It wouldn't have worked anyway, but just seeing that kiss out in the wild was pretty cool, actually.

Edit: By the wild, I mean at the denerim gates!  Unfortunately, the preview had a bald, funny looking femdwarf.  But it was still cute!

Yes, highcastle, you hit it dead on. Unless you are a HN you pretty much get the crap ending in Awakenings. I took my Elf MAge who romanced Alistair and remained his mistress.

But you don't get an epilogue save for Awakenings...so maybe (false?) hope for something with more closure for characters who didn't romance Al.

Aaaaanyway.... the story in Awakening is pretty fun, so are most of the characters. If you played as an Orlesian Warden, it might seem less immersion breaking..

Good luck trying to stay away from Zev, lol... I don't think I could manage it anymore.

I can never manage to stay away from Zevran.  Even my HNF, even though they used to marry Ali (NOT any more), bah, just never can keep either Zevran as a friend or Alistair as a love.  And I DO like the Alistair romance.  Just... not as much!
