considering my origins difficulty mod seems to work in this game for whatever reason and I play on nightmare... yep rather fun then again I dragon battles plus it was funny seeing the darkspawn try to kill the dragon in vain

o.o I play on Casual... Mostly cause I prefer the story not the fighting. I should one day up to Normal...  Dragon fights are... still not that easy for me on Casual. I tend to die to High Dragons.  *snicker* Poor silly darkspawn. It's like bringing a sword to a gun-fight.

well I enjoy the combat system (though I did mod it) and while I do enjoy the characters theres to much combat for me to just ignore (unlike planescape torment which is 95% dialogue)

Heh, my husband no doubt wonders, though I hasten to add I have nothing like CZ pics.    More like the sweet, romantic stuff.

And this is my thread, too!  I refuse to choose between Alistair and Zevran.  I think Alistair threads are more frequent but thus more dispersed, and the Zevran crowd is more cohesive.

Haven't caught up yet, I just want to say that there isn't really any Ali hate going on here. I've yet to see pure hatred, really. I like him, as a friend, and he's awesome in combat. My usual trio (well, foursome, I do have the 'dog' mod) consists of PC (non-mage), Zevran, Alistair, Morrigan. If the PC is a mage, Morri get's to share time with Shale.

my standard party rotates Alistair,Dog,Shale,Morrigan (zevran is always in it) though I have used every character for a ful playthrough atleast once

My party is usually Alistair, Morrigan and Leliana or Wynne. Unless I have a mage, in which I cut out Wynne since Morrigan gets specced to Spirit Healer. And if I'm a rogue than I cut out Leliana so Morrigan can be damage with Wynne healing.



And dog, because I have that dog mod.

That shot was so funny. My PC was looting a chest, and I look up and there's Nathaniel pasted to her back with this intense glare. I'm pretty sure the PC turned around and jumped half out of her Fade-shrouded skin, especially since he's wearing black and they had just been fighting blighted werewolves.

That's my group in Awakening as well. Sigrun kicks so much butt, but I don't know what I'll do with my rogue and mage characters. I'll have to bring either Justice or Oghren and I just really don't want to.

I was so angry when I first heard about Nathaniel Howe though, because my son's name is Nathaniel. Luckily, he turned out to be an awesome character, so I won't have to write Bioware a hate letter.

What I hate about Awakening is that fights with the 'children' is just one "overwhelm" after another. My friend lets me play around with his game, bless his heart. Thank goodness we're neighbors, so I can nip back and forth.

My other gripe is that I can't warm up to the new NPCs. Not even Oghren, who is new because I can't import my saves (obviously). The only one I like so far is Howe, which is strange given that most of my PCs are HNF. I wouldn't import any of mine anyways, not with the shabby treatment of Zevran. I still hate the epilogue card with a passion, and I refuse to put myself and my PC through that. I know, I read the posts here about how it could be RP'd, but I just can't do it, it's far too different from the Zevran ending my PCs have been role-played into.

Nice shots CZ and Addai.What armor is Xander wearing? And what helmet is your PC wearing, Addai? I've not seen them.

I also find it strange that the 'gate' epilogue triggers fine for some people. I wonder why. I'm running the game on the patch before 1.03, and I don't get it. I never have.

Anyway, off for more "Ejoslin mod" testing. You can't be too thorough after all.

Edited because that's standard procedure here. In my fiddle play-throughs, I have the same party. Nathaniel, Sigrun, Anders, and my PC is the tank. Sadly, I do not like Justice and I never liked Oghren tanking. Unfortunately, the only good tank in Awakenings bites the dust early on.
