Me too- I skip Marjolaine entirely or else just never do the follow-up conversations because that seems to be where the ninja happens for me.  She does creep me out.  On my Aedan character, I decided to try to flirt with her, though, because I'm curious about the Morri-Leli rivalry.  My husband says there are some funny lines there.

Of course, our PC is toast at the moment so no experimenting for me.  And no Antivan boots, either.

 Ah Charsen, I have the B2B up.  And again, I really appreciate this.  I'm just cannot get him to stick around.

Edit: I'm working on tracking down what's causing the problem with the "friendly" dialog triggering at "love."  I'd like to have both working, ultimately.

Triplight - I keep getting disconnected too... and... considering their "huge announcement" in a few hours, I have to wonder if it's related.....

Thanks Ej -- i am currently testing some stuff with the stage. it's actually a really interesting puzzle as to why he walks away. i'm thinking it has a script or a trigger but where that is... I have no clue. but i am determined to track it down. When i did my hacked version, I replaced his "Yes, I know" with my own. i'd have to go back and add the dialogue sound file to make him speak again, which is a pita if you've seen my tutorial on that, so i really would like to figure out why it happens since it would be good to add a kiss for the alistair/leliana/morrigan romance ends too, even though they all made poor love choices. lolz.

edit: ah, and now i have encountered the dreaded (and sadly all too common) database connection error that plagues the toolset forums...completely at random. this could take a while to fix, and if i can't fix it, i have probably lost a lot of work. huzzah.

*grin* Ok. I am working on getting the "friendly" dialog in right now. I think I may have it -- if I get it, I'll post a new B2B. This is a workaround as well -- but we'll see if it actually works.

Edit: I wonder if the walking away is hidden in Riorden.  You've probably already checked that, however.

I looked earlier but I could not find the gates scenes in the cutscenes tab, where are they? I've got the speech's and the charge all the older warden guys stuff, AD kill scene but not companion gate stuff...

So, either i can struggle and waste hours of time fixing a BW problem, or i can just start from scratch... and that means losing my cutscene from last night since i didn't make a B2B of it yet. jawesome. enough to make you wonder why to bother.

Edit: And lol Triplight, do you use Dragon Age Redesigned? Because your Dalish looks especially like their version of Tamlen. Not that that's a bad thing, since he's very attractive.

Thanks.  I didn't think to look there.

Sorry to hear about your problems though, thats really hard choice to have to make.

(Personally though I'd sit there and fix it even if it took hours, just so I didn't lose the work, but then I'm really stubbon like that.)

Yep, DA: Redesigned is loaded right up in my game,lol. Funny thing was I just used one of the availble presets in the CC and fiddled with the nose mouth, brow and jaw, for twenty minutes because I wanted to make one of the sons of Elrond:wizard:. I laughed when I saw my character right next to Tamlen, oops!

yeah MorGothic i am going to try. but i am giving it a hard limit. if i can't solve it in 1 hr 13 min, i'm doing a full uninstall/reinstall. i figure it took me 3 hours to make the cutscene, i can redo it in 2, and everything else i can probably redo since i always export a b2b for this reason. this will be db reinstall #5, if so.

I don't know that liquor translates well with baking, but I can certainly whip you up something that would go great with a nice glass of scotch (my personal favorite). Wow, I just found out there's such a thing as "White Russian brownies." I shall call you the Dude and bequeath them unto you!

If it makes you feel any better, I wasted several hours last night just trying to update my (36!) mods...
No, I doubt that would... sorry.


Edit: Unless you want brownies/cookies of another sort, in which case I, erm, happen to have dabbled in such things...
