Wow. I expected a few more pages than that between me going to bed at 3am and getting here now at 5:47pm.

Hm. 18h10m till an "Epic BioWare Community Event"... That would put it at 1pm tomorrow, I think. Or is it noon tomorrow? I hate trying to add Time.

The voices for the Warden all kinda suck in this game... I try to use the same voice for all my females. Can't remember which one atm...

I hated my first female dwarf voice. I think it was 'cocky'. I used to pretend that it wasn't her speaking. There was just a disembodied voice wherever they went.



I think I've chosen the 'suave' voice for my current Dalish elf. It's a nice deep, sexy voice. It's just a shame that he looks about fourteen. I can't remember which one I chose for my last male elf but it was terribly posh and made me laugh.

And I hate most of the voices- they just never sound how you think they will, and the things they say don't sound at all like things your character actually would. Wish I'd seen that "no ladder comment" mod sooner...

I find it hilarious that there is a need for the "no ladder comment" mod! (I mean, I agree it's annoying as hell, it's just a humorous thing to have to mod ;D) I like the more "neutral" comments of the human male Violent voice set ("Now is better than later", "Right", some others) for my mage, but the battle comments are a bit hair-raising. XD



I couldn't decide on a voice for my Dalish (in my avatar)... none of them sound right...

I chose that same voice set for Tanith my HNF....she is now in Delete Heaven, that ladder comment is absolutely horrible.

Regarding the Zev convos when he asks you about your involvement with others: he gives the biggest disapproval of all the companions at any level of romantic involvement when the Warden breaks up with him for anything but the royal scandal. That is what convinces me that when he says "Since you invited me to your tent I have been so confused." after the first earring offer, that he really does mean the very first time you invited him. He doesn't expect anyone to value him. He doesn't expect the Warden to choose him. It means more to him than to any of the companions when the Warden does choose him and value him. As horrible as his epilogues are for the US ending, it does show that he has finally learned to value himself and not view himself as disposable.

On a semi-random note- it might be a good idea to put copies of the VO transcripts, mods, links etc in the Team Zevran group threads. This thread is impossible to search and I have nightmare visions of it being locked.

So my toolset is fixed and I lost all my work aside from what I've B2B'd. Ah well. It's ok, right? Like Zevran leaving the Crows, i am to begin anew. =)

Unlike me who after yet another hour of trying to make a decent looking HN is ready to break something. To make matters worse I find it easy to make awesome looking female characters, but I just don't enjoy playing as them...

OMG that video is so weird. But James Franco is ridiculously schmexy, so I'm happy.

And I'm so sorry you lost your work! Hopefully it won't take as long to redo, but that's still such a pain.

Edit: CZ your Orlesian is badass! I'm another who can't get male faces to look good no matter how hard I try...

problem with that gothic is the toolset doesnt work on my comp (unless some one is willing to do it for me if I give them the save file)

I have to admit, I am right now worshiping Charsen, who I have no doubt will be able to untangle the awful mess called the "kiss" at the gates. This was a bad mod to start as my first one, really. Bugged dialog, an untraceable walk... I thought my kludge made for a crappy mod. The more I try to fix it, I understand why they left it bugged. Though the workaround is very easy, so they should have done that instead!

BTW, people, I am amazed at people who can make good looking characters. I use someone else's presets, because I mine always end up looking so horrible. That human mage is SO hot!

Oh, ejoslin, I usually have to sit right in front of the TV to be able to get faces just right, and even then Morgaine(avie) there looks like Titian, just with different hair >.>.

my Orlesian hottie took me almost an hour to get like and im surprised his blonde as well since normally blondes arnt my thing

it sucks I cant transfer his face over to Origins its stupid the game doesnt have a "face save" option

Hmm whats the problem with the toolset? If it that it won't install I
know how to fix that, it's very easy to do.

But if you want I
can do it for you. Create a save game for the face you want to use and
an Orgins save (face doesn't matter) with the voice you want and stat
points where you want them. Then host them somewhere.

Yep, I usually use preset faces as well, and then tweak them to my hearts content. Chargens, Pineappletrees, and the More Hairstyles mods do help out big time. I did download a couple of stand alone face presets too from Nexus. So glad I got to courage to actually mod my characters, its the reason I bought the PC game, after I beat it on xbox though:P.
