Edit: LOL as we all jump all over that one.
Thus why I now always make sure to refresh the page before going to post...
Thanks, Triplight, I love it! The links in her comments are hilarious as well. XD Dear god what an atrocity of a "saga" (is anyone else offended by their use of that term?).

Hrrrmm. It's not happening, and I've got him up at 81. We've been flirting, I'VE got the option to invite him to my tent (something I don't have with that awful French Girl) but he's not ever asking me. I'm out of dialogue options and out of gifts.
Have you been to the tent already? If you ask him, he won't ask you.

Of course, I'm playing Xbox, so I can't see whether I'm at "care" "adore" etc. It seems that sometimes with Zev the numbers go up without the category changing. (??)

No, he brought it up and then said he wasn't comfortable talking about it so I didn't push. Never saw anything else about it.

Ok, are you SURE you have the option to go to his tent? It really sounds like either your approval is lower than 71, or he's not romanced.
Edit: Three things happen at 71+ (adore)
1. if you haven't been there yet, he'll ask you to his tent
2. If you have someone else at 71+ (adore), he'll ask you to choose, then you get his poetry reading. If you aren't involved in anyone else, you just get the poetry.
3. You're able to ask him about his final mission.

EDIT: And I have the xbox version, too... it's totally impossible to tell what approval you're at, and it's very irritating! It seems like putting the game on console systems was almost an after thought
(so I now I play the PC version instead lol)

Aha! Another way to figure this stuff out. Excellent.
Thanks, guys. This Xbox approval bar thing kicks my ass. It's impossible to read. I just need to memorize what intro lines ("Yeeeessssss?") mean what, because that's the only help Xbox is going to give me.

The last line should be 80 -- I'm pretty sure the lines go by 20s.WingsandRings wrote...
But there's only 1 line left until the end of the approval bar, so logically that would be 90, and then the end would be 100.
....why did Bioware punk out on the Xbox stuff?
And that has got to be one of theeee most annoying parts of playing on a console. ~_~

Sresla, let me see if I'm following right -- you want to use an appearance you have in one game to make another character? If that's it, that's not too hard -- if you can run the toolset (ooor if you can zip up two save folders and let someone else do it). Let me know if that's what you're looking for, say the word (before I type a novella for no reason XD). :3
Yes, Jen, this is what I mean. My coherency level is obviously relative to my WOW raiding schedule. But Lich King is dead (huzzah, for the 5000th time...) so the night is now mine to do... something with. I can run the toolset (it actually sits open 99% of the time since I reference it a lot) so potentially that shouldn't be a problem I just haven't played with it at all except to open dialogue trees.

And its another reason why I bought the PC version and bought a new video card and more ram. $150 dollars for all three, and it was worth it.<3
I am glad though because I don't have xboxlive, so I woulda been screwed either way, those bugs are horrible.
Ok I am trading in Al for Shale as my tank on my CE playthrough, any advice on a good tank build for her? And I am honestly thinking about switching Zevran to Ranger Archer.

btw here is some extremely raw HM+Zev (unfinished, still has clipping and no facial animations at all) bit that i just rolled up:
Probably NSFW but no private bits showing
edit: it currently has some alignment issues cuz of clipping though, that's what i'm smoothing out now.

1. Create your new character with the stats you want and all, start the game, and save as soon as you can.
2. Your saves should be somewhere like
My Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Characters/CharacterName/Saves
You may want to back up the new character's save you just made before you start mucking with it... XD
3. Open up the *.das file for the new save -- we'll call this guy Destination. (Dragging it to the toolset window is probably easiest?)
4. Open a *.das file from the character whose appearance you want to nick, heretoforth known as Source.
5. On the Source:
Browse to
SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR->SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR->SAVEGAME_PLAYER_MORPH
(it's near the bottom..)
Select the line, right click and select Copy.
6. On the Destination:
Browse to
SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR->SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR->SAVEGAME_PLAYER_MORPH
Select the line, right click and select Paste Value.
7. (optional) If you want to use the same portrait -- the pose and camera angle and background -- copy these values from the Source to Destination in the same way:
SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR->SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR->...
SAVEGAME_PLAYER_PORTRAIT_PITCH
SAVEGAME_PLAYER_PORTRAIT_YAW
SAVEGAME_PLAYER_PORTRAIT_TINT
SAVEGAME_PLAYER_PORTRAIT_EXPRESSION
SAVEGAME_PLAYER_PORTRAIT_DISTANCE
SAVEGAME_PLAYER_PORTRAIT_POSITIONH
SAVEGAME_PLAYER_PORTRAIT_POSITIONV
8. Save your Destination character's .das and give it a whirl
Hopefully that a) makes sense and
