MorGothic - easy fix - hair is too yellow. Spike is a bleachblond (yes-one word in my head)

Also-problem you can't probably fix is the low brows in this game give the toon a rather anxious look. Spike doesn't look anxious. I think his face is a bit too thin.

The young looks too smooth, but the other looks too aged

Yay!  Nice picture.  I like the dwarf inspiration, it keeps me interested in finishing my own dwarf lady, whenever our PC decides to work again (*holds out hope it wasn't a catastrophic loss*).

MorGothic- if you're using the toolset, you can mix the two skin types. There will be two "skin type" boxes listed under "Material"- choose the manly one and the younger one. From there you can blend them together using the blend bars to get an intermediary look.



And yeah, try a less yellow hair color and maybe a wider jaw still? That man has one manly jaw, I tell ya. =P

How does Zevran make you feel adored? I want to feel that way, but to me it always feels like he is just flattering me. I don't know why, but I think it has to do with the more I find out about his past. I always hate when he tells me the story about the mage (especially if I am playing a human mage), because the whole thing is just so cold. And he gets angry if you tell him he is cold, but likes it if you approve of his actions. I just can't approve of stuff like that.

And I am not a Zev hater, I swear. I love him and I think that is why his actions hurt so much. I just can't see his romance the way some people do. I don't feel adored by him until the very end.

Why do I feel adored?  Because he approaches the warden differently than everyone else.  He is very open and honest about everything with him/her.  

He disapproves, SLIGHTLY, if you tell him he's cold, but I love his answer there.  I think that tells more about him than just agreeing with him.  And you have to understand, until he meets the warden, being an assassin is ALL he knows.  He changes, and changes considerably.

I hear you. But that kick-in-the-gut feeling it gives me is actually quite convenient. All your talk about how Zev feels about sharing the Warden's affection and not even able to admit it to himself inspired me to what I'm drawing right now, and "emo" is better for the flow.  *lol*

Probably because I can read Dutch pretty well too, lol. I love Zevran pleading for the mages. I am too wussy to kill Wynne, so I always switch her out after the fade.

The other thing you can listen for is party banter.  Zevran has some great banter with Shale, for instance.

Shale:  I have noticed that the painted elf seeks the attention of the Grey Warden.
Zevran:  He certainly does.

Zevran sounds so happy there, and answers Shale so confidently, it is very sweet.  Of all the companions, it seems to me that he lets his guard down with Shale a little.
