I think the mouth/chin is done really well. The nose to me seems a smidge off - a little too pointed whereas Mal's looks a little flatter with wider nostrils. No way to tilt the eyes down a bit in the toolset? Or is it just a higher/lower bigger/smaller wider/closer? Eyebrows, perfect. Forehead, a bit too high/long/whatever, but I'm not sure that can be altered either (like overall the head is simply too big, not a design fault of what you're trying to capture). And the hair there works.

You should be posting these in the "make morphs of famous people thread" I saw a while back, although the post may have died an early death.

Edit: The first version - chin too wide now (imo!)

Well aren't you special.  I don't even know why it's so hard, but that goddam chin just always juts out too much for my tastes. Then again I've only tried making a few guys, so eventually I'll just have to fiddle until I get a good one.

@CZ...I was just looking through my storyline screenshot folder, and found Daiya, and Zev With Morrigan and Al, walking through the cleansing flames at the urn nekkid as the day theys was born! Using your mod of course;). But I noticed their body skin tones don't match their heads, but do in my BSC scenes....

This is going to happen with Cailan and Loghain(DR for Daiya plathrough) isn't it?

the mismatching skin tone is only for the urn of sacred ashes for some reason the textures look off in that scene and none of the textures iv downloaded fix it

Ty, I just found that out as well as I stripped Daiya totally bare in the Dalish camp.I swear I saw Tuv..I mean Zathrien's eyes bug out.  

Right after I got her re-dressed Zev made a comment about the Dalish being a strong people and that his mother was one. I haven't heard that one before.

Yeah it happens for everyone, and it has something to do with the specific body model applied by the urn. If you take off your armor before using the urn you'll have the correct skin tone. Just make sure to take off gloves and boots too, or you'll get the appearance of glove and boot tans...

I have been sucked into the toolset. That thing is scary. I started a game 2 days ago and my characters are still in Lothering. Well, with Zevran, thanks to Charsen. But still. I'm addicted to the toolset!

I managed to break myself of that after I spent an entire night trying to get it to work.  Effin' "cannot connect to database" error and the RAM-hog problem.  After playing with the morph editor until I got sick of it, too.  Lost my work three times due to crashes.  That'll go a long way towards killing your enthusiasm.  I also played through the game for a while with Cadryn 2.0 to get screenshots and play with mods.  Sresla made my week, for reasons I won't disclose here, but you and Charsen made my freakin' day.

I had to uninstall/reinstall three times.  Then I started getting the memory errors after about an hour.  That was a blessedly easy fix, but I was seriously messed up with illness while I was doing it.  Loopy + angry = awesomely fun.

Hmm, I suppose I should be glad I have no toolset impulses... I try to make morphs every so often, and that's about it.  It's too much like work, I guess. XD  (Speaking of which, whoever decided that file browsing was a good way to select parts for the morphs should be slapped repeatedly with a trout.  *disgruntled GUI programmer* )

And is asking Zevran about the Dalish. I think I went through every dialogue option, and the only one you get positve on is pretty much when you are sympathizing with him (kissing that lovely..*ahem*). Which kind of sucks, because I was hoping to call him out, as it were, again.

The only issue with your Spike morphs is the blond is too yellow and the white is too...white... Other than that, the Spike and Angel morphs are good.

Oh, this did happen with Awakening.  I logged in, loaded up, saved, and then left it on while I went to work.  Uploaded after that.

What I usually do to get my characters to update here is, in the game, go to Player Profile and hit the Online Profile button.  Doesn't always work, but it helps sometimes?


@Tellervo, the easiest way I know of to do that is to make a new character and pose it the way you want, then copy the portrait pose data back to your old character.  If you don't have the same face to work with, though, that could be iffy... XD;

Sometimes you have to delete them from your profile on the website & get them to push again with a fresh save. but it's random as hell.



oh and the database connection errors? yeah that ruined sunday for me. at least an uninstall/reinstall fixed it. but i sat there and systematically went through the troubleshooting page... did everything. what a timesink. i can't imagine having to go through that with an illness too, Tellervo.
