Oblivion is awesome with all the mods, go to TES Nexus and load up... get Wyre Bash to have full control of your mods. i had over a thousand smashed into the 255 limit at one time. plus the full graphics texture overhaul. it was badass.



however, oblivion has few companion mods, and no real cinematics. like kisses and love scenes are static poses good for screenshots only.



having said that, i was modding & playing oblivion for at least a full year. played morrowind after oblivion (didn't know about it til later) and modded the heck out of that too. loved them both!



btw Jenovan do you by any chance know nightcrawler? if so, can you hook me up? =)



CZ is trying to tempt me into playing NWN2 dammit!

Hmm, I tried NWN2 when it first came out (I love Forgotten Realms so hard XD), but I couldn't get into it... maybe I need to be a bit more persistent. :|

the original campaign is Mediocre but it gets better once you get done with chapter 1 (dea rlord whoever made the Orc caves needs to die in a fire) Mask of the betrayer is where the meat is at

edit:also Mask of the betrayer takes place in rashamen/thay and has some plane hopping as well

But how did you backward it to the OC, CZ? I thought characters couldn't go higher than 20 in the OC? Or am I missing the obvious (again).

just install the games, the expansion packs automatically allow you access to everything once you reach the requirements (though you will never get the epic level feats in the OC because like you said you can go beyond lv20) but races/classes and skill that dont require epic level feats to get can be gotten as soon as you reach the requirements for them

oh and having SoZ makes it so you can enchant elemental properties and stuff onto bows so they arnt gimped any more

Wow, CZ, your character is actually pretty shmexy. I didn't think such things were possible in that game, but you always seem to make them so.

OMG OMG OMG! I got the "friendly" dialog fixed in my gatesfix! YAY! Of course, I did this AFTER Jayelet translated, but it doesn't really matter. The "Love" version as everyone knows worked anyway.

Edit: Heh, sorry, I've been fighting this for a week now, so I'm excited to FINALLY have it corrected.  What a dumb coding error they have in there.  I can't get to the broken code to fix it via the toolset (grrr), but I found a work-around.
