I honestly have no idea how you people can stay sane with young children

then again my perception of you kids was ruined by my oldest sisters kids...

*has bad flashback to when they would wake up at 4-5am in the morning and play lets jump on uncle Garry because I used to have to sleep in there room*

My son was about the same at that age. Clueless, teenage grumpies, and usually my fridge was always empty. I often wondered where he put that all, you know.

I know where mine is putting it.  I'm buying him new clothing every few weeks.  I suppose I should be grateful that he didn't inherit my height (5' in shoes- barely).  I don't think I will ever get used to looking up at him, though.

heh Im glad I didnt inherit my mothers height

I was suppossed to only grow to about 4'-4'5 according to the doctors and they wanted to put me on growth hormones (my mom refused)

now Im about 5'3-5'5 still not tall but atleast im not a dwarf (I would have made a hilariously skinny dwarf as well)

*grin* sami jo, my kids would KILL me if I talked about them here. I have 12 year old twins, an 11 year old and an 8 year old and they are good at keeping me in line! None of them are interested in DAO, however. They're still into Halo, which is fine by me, though it means I never get to use the xbox. Well, my older daughter is more into Facebook, mind you, but she has to get on my husband's computer for that.

Mine is normally playing Halo with his girlfriend, but he still isn't feeling good and isn't up to shooting things yet.  He watched all the seasons of Buffy, Angel, Firefly and Dr. Who (current series, he hasn't gotten hooked on the original yet) between last Thursday when he got sick and yesterday.

Edit:  And meep!  Twins!  You have your hands full.

CZ, whatever gave you the impression I was sane?

How's your headache?  Are you feeling better?

Edit: @sami jo We had a rough time when I got pregnant when they were 6 months old because I was tired and sick all the time (my poor husband ended up having to do EVERYTHING, including support us), but once they got to toddler-hood, it's actually easier having twins.  They have a built in friend.  Of course, that can be bad as well, if you have one that leads the other into no good, but I'm lucky that the leader of the two of them is a complete goody-two-shoes.  I would have had a horrible time if her brother had been the leader.  He's always up to something.

Really, I wouldn't throw things at you because there IS some truth to that.  Hahahaha, I asked my husband if dating a woman really was like the romance with Leliana and he said, "Yes.  But we [men] love you [women] anyway!"

I can sympathize, Sami Jo. I'm short (5"4'), but both my kids are tall. My son is tall and muscular (gym addict, pfeh), and my daughter is tall and skinny. I always felt really strange, looking up at them and scolding them, while they looked downward to see Mom's face.

Ramante, the Ruck dialogue fix prevents Oghren from overriding Zevran dialogue, and it also gives the PC the chance to intervene on Ruck's behalf. Although it seems more cruel than not to let the poor sod go slowly downhill toward a terrible death.

CZ, my father is shorter than my Mom. Not by much, but I just had to inherit the short genes, didn't I? My ex's parents are also on the short side, but both my kids snatched up my Mom's (and her family) genes. Tall people. Lots of tall people there.

Ramante, I did an Alienage mod and fixed the Zevran at the gates dialog.  However, Charsen is adding a very special kiss there, so if you're not close to it, that one can wait.  My mod that has the circle dialog is in my projects -- it's in a bundle of five mods.  I also highly recommend Charsen's ZevASAP.

Thanks for the link.

I knew about your Gate dialogues, but like you said it might be better to wait for the special kiss. If female characters get a kiss that is only half as hot as the male Warden-Zevran kiss, I would be in heaven.

Good one, I forgot the ZevASAP, I have it installed on my laptop but not my pc.

Oh, I don't think it's better to wait if you're close.  Even without the kiss, the "in love" dialog is far, far better.  It's very easy to install/uninstall.

I have been like a little kid since yesterday.  I had trouble falling asleep, woke up really early -- it's crazy how exciting this is!

Edit: @Ramante: I forgot.  I also fixed the dialog loop with Leliana and her "Your Zevran" dialog.  I probably should look at combining all of these in a "Zevran Dialog Fix" package or something.

I'm not entirely certain how he ended up so innocent.  We've never treated sex like some big horrible secret and he's a jock, so I'm sure his friends are talking about it.  He's just a bit oblivious.

Maybe it's because it's not a gigantic secret.  That's a healthier approach anyway.  If it's all a huge secret sometimes they go crazy and have unprotected sex and become parents at 15. . .

OMG, that made me  for some reason. That seemed so totally random.

Ejoslin, I can feel for you with the twins. Twins and triplets run in my family. Let me tell you, both times I realized I was pregnant, I practically camped at my OBG/YN's doorstep to see if it was (hopefully) a single. I think I made her nervous, lol.

I was not at all like Leliana, I was a hippie. Well, I guess I still am, I don't think that's curable. I remember tree-hugging, late-night nude swimming, loving under the moonlight, sit-ins (no nukes, ftw), water canons, being carried of to the hosegow.... ahh, good times.

Edited because the law is the law, after all

My elven mage just reached the Landsmeet, so I need to do the whole Anora saving and Alienage part. My human mage needs to do the Urn quest and can then call the Landsmeet. I have a lot of time.
Still need to decide what to do with my human mage, she has now both Zevran and Alistair in a romance.. need to figure out what to do with that. (never had to dump a companion before)

I really don't like kids, they get on my nerves.. as a reaction I get agressive (not that I would hit them or anything, but I can be a real b*** if i want to). My mom is not very happy about that, she is already talking about that she wants to become a grandmother... o.o

oh, kid talk. sounds like you all have good ones. even if grumpy with an empty fridge, i'm afraid that may never go away. =P *blank stare at fridge* thanks for the spaghetti sami jo. hehe. you offered baklava one right? i looked into it, wondering why you were offering me a helmet. i understand now...lol. =/

my sister hasn't had any yet, though it's been on their mind, and she will probably be pressured at the stomp dance this summer by our aunts and uncles. lol. i am not pressured since i don't carry clan. though i am good with children, i have many little cousins. and at least one set of them has turned out to be very geeky, so i am vindicated that it is in the blood.

glad you all liked the kisses. yes, i am sadly something of a romantic, i guess. though only if the romance has pain & reason. hard to explain. anyway, enough talk, more WIP kiss.

Elves today, tried to finish them last night but fell asleep on my desk. =P

That was our view on it. Curiosity, raging hormones and an information vaccuum is a bad combination.

Ohh, I love you, Charsen. In a totally sister-way, of course ;)

Well, no wonder I couldn't find you to tuck you in then. It never occurred to me to look for you at your desk. Tsk, tsk.

I hate that "when are you going to have kids?" pressure. I always side with my femRelatives when that comes up. So they usually try to get to the eligible cousins when I'm not around. But I can see it when it's happening. I could even see it if they didn't throw those "HALP!!11!!!!" looks my way, rofl.

Yikes. Falling asleep on your desk is not good... You should have gone to bed right after finishing the HM kiss and left the EM kiss for today. Either way, that first preview is *squee*

As for sleep, I have hte feeling I'll be headed that way shortly... Caffiene only works for so long...

@CZ: Yes, women are a little nutty; and I seem to have a thing for the really nutty ones. This would explain my husband even though I am probably 90% lesbian. ;-)

Hmm, I'm with Ramante... I'm not much for kids, especially before they're old enough to reason with. Image IPB  (5-6 or so?)  Playing around with kids can be fun (used to be a summer camp counselor, good times), but I have no maternal feeling whatsoever. Image IPB
