Edit: More unfairness! Sten gets a (short) cutscene when reading from his prayerbook (his make-up gift). Leliana will play very short tunes on her lute.
And you can play fetch with your dog

Now that is a delicious idea. X3Sresla wrote...
Now see, that's what I would have thought as well, all the gifts and their corresponding boost item gives -50 for the give (so there's -50 for giving him the belt) and then +50 for the make-up item (the brandy). Knowing Zev though, I'm not certain if he'd actually VIEW a belt as being all that bad, insomuch as he knows exactly who has the key and it could be quite fun getting them to the point where they... need to unlock it... :innocent:

Heh, I had the opposite reaction when I started playing DA. I still prefer the first person perspective myself. More immersive, and I really don't need to look at my character's ass for hours on end.Darkannex wrote...
I tried to play Oblivion, but I hate first person games

But yes -- I would imagine, in a high-level romance (Adore or Love), he'd probably find that more amusing than disapproval-worthy.

Q: In a battle of wills, who would lose, Zevran or the person who locked the belt?
A: (Hint: Not Zevran)

But he's terrible at lockpicking!Kryyptehk wrote...
I imagine he'd just get Leliana to lockpick it. Or try to do it himself. But Zevran is resourceful, I bet he'd be able to work around the belt lol

I paid, and now I realize, they have just made the approval system worthless! *grin* I'll uninstall them. But they were good for the laughs.

the approval system was ruined by the hilarious amount of gifts any ways
oh noes I murdered a child infront of alistair! -10 approval... oh alistair theres a toy for you to play with Alistair approves +20
the Nwn2 system was better IMO since you couldent manipulate it

Well, I bought them. I haven't had much time tonight so have only had a brief look. I found that Zevran will have sex with the chastity belt on, and his approval goes up as usual, which raises all sorts of questions. That was funny, but when I gave him the brandy to get him back up he ended up at 'warm' instead of 'adore'. I bumped him down again with the belt, putting it on and unlocking it until he became hostile. Got the evening in Antiva City conversation. At 100 hostile, he left and stayed when I persuaded him, but then ended up killing me at the next conversation because I didn't have the heart to fight back. My journey ended. I felt disturbed.

That's a good point. I don't like using gifts to raise approval anyway. But with these I may as well quit using the console. I'm going to do another Royal Scandal playthrough, but harden Alistair and THEN get him hostile so I can see him do a hostile marriage. It won't be a challenge with the gifts!

See, the prooooblem is that I don't think the physics line up. As we've said elsewhere, the femdwarf is not that much shorter than Zevran:ejoslin wrote...
/cry. I love it when he kneels down to kiss the dwarf. There's just something so sweet about that, and so sexy at the same time.

FYI Nonvita, according to the toolset, Zevran is roughly 1.7m ~5'7". so no highheels with him either. =P

he does not look 5'7 to me in game :3

Nonvita, I'm 5'7, but my husband is 6'1, so heels are NOT out for tall women! My best friend (a guy) is 6'4 (oh, he's hot too, and single, and is such a pig). Even my women friends are all pretty tall. I don't think of 5'8 as that tall -- I'm one of the shorter people I know.
